Everything you need to know about the Night's Watch
The Shadow Tower, one of the three castles still manned by the Night's Watch. The Shadow Tower has the biggest garrison, and has more resources allocated to it than the other two castles. You have recently joined a Night's Watch recruiter's caravan to the Wall, in order to swear in as a brother of the Night's Watch. Be you a bastard, a thief, an exile, or simply a person looking for glory on the Night's Watch, you all have arrived here, hoping to become Rangers of the fabled Night's Watch and fight back the coming winter.
This is a Games of Throne inspired RP, based on the organization of the Night's Watch. This RP takes place 2 years before the events of the series and books, although characters and events from the series might seep into the RP at times. You'll be playing the part of a member of the Night's Watch. My main priority is for everyone to have fun, and I will overlook rules, and lore, in order to insure everyone has their own kind of fun. This means I am willing to make an exception for just about any type of character you wish to run.
Everyone will start out in the courtyard of the Shadow Tower, having just arrived after a long journey, and aclaimating themselves before starting training.

Name: Soah Lander
Age: 20

Appearance: Soah has shoulder length black hair, that is very unkempt and shaggy. The hair often mats to one part of Soah's head, leaving him looking very ragged. Soah possesses light green eyes that are often hidden by hair that hangs in his face. Soah, being a minor noble's son, is a good amount of muscle mass, but nothing impressive, especially since he stands at only a mere 5'11.
Clothing (Besides the Night's Watch uniform): Soah likes to wear a blue tunic, worn out from extended use, along with a very plain pair of brown pants. Soah also opts to wear a tattered black cloak, the has a very faded heraldry from his family. The heraldry from his family is a red Badger, poised for an attack.
Weapons (Night Watch will supply if you don't own any): Soah was trained averagely in most weapons, but was not great with any of them. Despite only being a average swordsman at best, Soah's father bought him a sword. The sword is of good make, and holds no qualities that would make it unique. The sword lies in a scabbard at Soah's side, which hangs low due to Soah's loose belt.
Personality: Soah is friendly to those he enjoys, loving to spend time talking to them. To those he does not trust, or does not know, he is a gruff man, who speaks only in very short words. One of the qualities he picked up from his father is the ability to only spoke when spoken to, leaving him a quiet man.
History: Soah was born to a minor noble family in the Stormlands. Despising the day-to-day life of nobles, Soah yearned adventure. Rather than join a lord's army, he opted to join the Night's Watch, much to his family's chagrin. His family believed this was a waste of potential, and a son. Soah, however, believed this was his only chance at a real type of adventure, and a way to better the realm.

Awesome! There's two people! We'll probably be starting tomorrow, given we have enough people.
If I can get at least 3 other people interested, I'll go ahead and set up the thread.
Oh, yeah. We wouldn't be following the books, so there would be plenty of Wildlings and White Walkers to fight.
It would not strictly follow the lore of the books. For instance, girl characters would be allowed, somethings might be overlooked. Fun is the number one rule.
Doing Interest check for a GoT RP, where all members are part of the Night's Watch. The RP will take place 2 years before the events of the series. It would start out with everyone arriving at The Shadow Tower, a big castle on the Wall.

Simone was jerked out of his sullen mood at the clasp of Gertrud's hand. "Oh, hey." Simone said, his voice slightly lifting up. "Mind if we get out of here? Seems like these three have their thing going on." Simone said, as he brushed past Gertrud, not waiting for a response. Simone brushed Gertrud's hand off of his shoulder as he walked away, easing back into his normal mood. There was still so much time left in the day, and so little to do. He contemplated making his way back to his and Gertrud's apartment to relax, but he shook the idea from his head. It'd be better to stick around and meet more people. He didn't want to go home, and be by himself for the rest of the day. Simone took a look back at Edel, Mary, and the other girl that had showed up, before turning around and continuing his gait towards the the inside of the Academy, hoping he'd find someone to talk to. If not, he always had Gertrud to bother and piss off, which had become some sort of hobby for Simone, at this point.
