(Back from work! So I'll just have my characters gets coming to the orphanage)

Suzie stood next to her winged friend. The little girl rolled on the balls of her feet. Bouncing contently as she waited for him to knock on the door. Her eyes gleamed with a ever growing curiosity. Finch brushed some hair out of his eyes. Taking a quick glanced back at the six year old who stood next to him, before bringing his knuckles to the wood. The two misfits had been traveling together from their previous orphanage. He had arrived their shortly after escaping his father. And Suzie was about to be thrown out either way, so they were sent together

Steve(Burner) Drane| Burner is a a stocky 15 year old. With thick arms and a muscular body. He has a bit of chin stubble. mostly due to the lack of a razor. Although it gives him the "I don't give a crap" vibe. Burner's face is what one might describe as "Superman". Due to it's sharp features, and thick chin, and cheek bones. His hair is a sandy blonde, and his skin is a nice tan. His eyes are a calming grey. Old looking compared to the rest of his rather rebellious appearance. He wears a dark green shirt, with sleeves that have been burned off. It's a miracle when he is wearing a shirt. Because mostly he just burns it off with his temper. He wears a pair of camo pants, and heavy brown boots. As well as his dog tags. He uses only his hands and powers in a fight. Although he is known to carry around a heavy duty knife in his boot. He is your typical fire bending freak. Hot temper, loud mouth, and stubborn attitude. At least he's not aggressive... much...|fire manipulation

Joice Fairland|Joice is a smaller girl, but only 13. only about 5'2. She is very bony, and frail. Most look at her, and their first thought is a tea cup. Her appearance is betraying the idea that she has the abilitiy to whield earth. Her hair is short, a pixie cut that clings close to her head. Through her black hair, streaks of green follow in various shades. She has pale skin, and soft ash colored lips. She wears the standard camo pants. And a light brown shirt, along with her set of dog tags. She has an extra set of dog tags on her necklace. Dog tags that once belonged to her brother. Joice is not standardly put out into the field. Although at times she has been forced to. Most of the time she is in the infirmary. Training to be a army nurse. Her weapon of choice is a small pistol. Mostly because her earth abilities are enough to help her out. She is calm, and kind. With a sweet smile and gleaming green eyes. She never loses her temper. Infact, she doesn't really have one. If someone gets mad at her, or pushes her around, she'll just shut down. Not sobbing, but kind of fade away, and not be there in her mind. She often has nightmares of her brothers, Bracken Fairland, death.|earth manipulation

Age- 6
Power- can talk to animals
Appearance- Suzie is a adorable little girl, with gently tanned skin. Her smile has little dimples. Her eyes are big brown, with golden flecks. Her eyes seem to hold a mysterious and shimmering quality. Her hair is a creamy brown, in soft little ringlets. She wears lacy dresses, and bows in her hair. Because she feels they make her look like a princess. She had a bit of a mental delay, just with speech and writing.
Bio- she was given up as a child. But since she was only a few months old, she has been traded off between orphanages due to her strange abilities.

Name- Finch
Age-14
Power- wings
Appearance- Finch is a slender boy. 5'9 and probably less than a hundred pounds. His hair is a messy blond, with natural highlights if white and black. His eyes are a gentle amber color, appearing to be a flaming hazel. His skin is pale. And his wings are colored black, white and golden like that of a finch's wings. Hence his name. He wears shorts, and a worn yellow t-shirt that says "Hot potatoes"
Bio- he was locked up in the basement of his uncles home until he was 10 years old. His mother had wings like him, and was from Norway, while his father was from Italy. Together they moved to America together and had their son.
And named him finch because of his unique wing colorings. When he was 4 his parents died in a car crash. So he was given to his uncle. When he managed to get out. He flew as far as he could before collapsing just outside the orphanage and being taken in. Due to his years in solitude, he is shy and quiet. He is quiet nervous and skittish as well.

Intro

You were taken from your family years ago. You were so young, that their faces are merely faded flashes of a memory in the back of your mind. Since you were taken from your family, you have been trained. How to use your powers to fight, how to work a gun. How to listen to commands that are given. You've made a new family inside the training facility. Another family they are taking you away from. At the age of twelve, they are dragging you away. To the front lines of the war. So you can fight for your country.

About the War

The war first broken out when America spilt into two different countries. The real string of events that lead to the devision is currently lost to time. All that is known for a fact is that one side of the country wished to bring slavery back, while the other was resistant. This difference in opinion created the West Confederation and the East States. The East was the half of the country that wished to bring back slavery. While the West opposed. As the war progressed the states of Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas, and Louisiana were abandoned by all civilians. Left to be a battle zone for the two sides.

The Warriors

Originally, both sides were just using normal soldiers. Until they discovered the genetic mutations that lead to specially gifted children. When they found them, they began to buy them from their families, or simply kidnapping them. Than taking them to bases to be trained. Normally they were taken at the ages between 4-8. With their training starting as young as 6. The government found, that the younger they were trained. The more useful they would be. At the age of 12, they would be taken from the training facilities, to the front lines. Where they would fight until they died. They are known as the Warriors. And normally, the warriors would not even known which side they are fighting for.

Location

In this rp, the base the Warriors will be back is known as Freedom Rock. It is in Northern Iowa. only twenty miles from the Missouri river. Dangerously close to enemy lines. However, this is a vantage point for them. Because it allows them the chance to send spies through the lines, undetected. The base is a large building, which had at one point been a large boarding school. The girl dorms are to the west, the boys, to the east. The cafeteria on the first floor, while the training rooms are in the large gyms located just outside the boy dorms. The basement is where sensitive information is processed, and where all their radios are. It is also where the rebellious are sent for a 'time out' and also where the bomb shelters are.
