True! I guess I did give you like 4 options on dice. Maybe I should open it up to higher sides.. hmm I'll think about that before I open up the ooc topic.
If i read the file right then yeah you've got it right! I didn't seem anything about d4s though, so maybe it's too low? I'm not sure :P

:O so we need just one more person!
The Age of Steel Is Over

It ended with the rise of Man and Demon working together to better their lives.

Shinobi usurped Samurai after an age of oppression. Farmers became powerful, ordinary people became strong, and the dominant force in the world became nothing more than an old way of life.

However, this revolution was not without support. In the heavens the gods grew tired of human occupation over nature. An entity was born from the animals abused and tortured by society. Gengar was this monster born from the soul of a cow. The air around it was cold like winter but its eyes burned through the soul of those it stocked.

However, Gengar was only the first of many to appear. Demon kind would be the punishment of humanity's greed, pride, and gluttony over nature. The gods commanded demons to destroy humanity. But they rebelled, each becoming more and more human as time passed. They say that each demon was inspired by a unique sin but in truth demons were not created as a representations of sin. Rather, Demons were incarnated aspects of hope.

They protected humans who were like them, controlled by a greater force. Gengar taught humanity the shinobi arts as a way to fight against iron and steel. Many more demons joined in this effort and from the cooperation between humans and demons the world changed in a matter of months.

But that only lead to a new struggle: a fight between mortal and gods and old power against new strength.

Demons were the fallen creatures of the heavens. In helping humanity the gods stripped them of their rights to return and so they became mortal, bound by flesh and primal instinct.

But that was not the last work of the gods as they sent to the world a guardian. It controlled the gate from the earth to the heavens. It was called Arceus an angel who was more like a demon than any creature. Its mind was of rage and destruction, obliterating anything that dared to look at him.

But in rejecting the souls of both humanity and demons from heaven, the gods lost their followers.

A god without followers loses its domain.

They are weakened and they are angry.

They're on their way down from the heavens, but you can stop them.

Stop them from destroying everything we've built.

You are a hero of the world. With your bonds to Demons and fellow people you can push them away, perhaps all the way to hell.

How?

This table top utilizes http://connect.ala.org/files/Risus15.pdf as its system. It's a simple system where everyone uses cliches.

I recommend reading the pages in the link for the proper description of how the rules work but my interpretation is that everyone has 60 points to spend on a certain number of cliches a character has that makes them good at something. Buying Dice allows one to adopt a character cliche but the cost ratio to dice is the number of sides so a 6 sided die costs 6 points. You can start with up to 4 dice in a cliche those dice being up to d10 size. If you're worried about being under powered at a later time you can double the cost of your cliche to make it "pump" which just means that you can sacrifice dice from that cliche to really lay down some hurt in a battle.

What do you need dice for? Well that's just about everything. You'll roll your cliche against an enemy's cliche. The guy with the highest number wins that round and the loser just lost a die in their cliche. When someone has no dice in a cliche they're defeated. Pretty simple! Even if you want to use something really weird like cooking against a dragon in combat (which the link covers in inappropriate cliches) however, this short table top game is less serious than I've made it out to be.

I mean, I'm looking for 3-5 people to come and join me for a pbp tabletop game about pokemon and naruto. We're going to go on missions about various things like assassination and espionage and maybe even a cooking match. Let's not make it about the setting as much as we make it about crazy characters with ridiculous lives and total bs fighting powers.

So that being said this is an interest check/recruitment. if you're interested then post here, PM me, and find someone to join us in some dumb fun insanity about ninjas and pokemon and whatever weird combo you can use to kill a foe in one hit!

If like 3 people are on board then I'll lay down the ground rules and start a topic in the rping area (forgive me if I manage to screw up using site features that I've never seen lol).

Wanna kick some ninja ass with pokemon?
awkward adds that make their way past my google add blocker somehow i mean, pages of nothing but original content.... yeah that's what i expect
Hi I'm SiliconColt, name choice is well just something random.

I'm into role playing and I've been a great deal of places but nothing really sticks with me, then again I'm more of a table top person than a drama lover. So I'll probably start in the table top area and work my way around to knowing the popular themes as well as general culture of the site.

Anyway, my-life-story-short: I'm 20, a guy, and play too much pokemon.
