(those high rolls, dear lord!)
The psycho cut sliced right through the tree ahead, revealing the head of a large beetle. It's giant pincers had blood covering the spikes across its inner curve. This surely had to be the cause of the corpse! The attack hadn't hamred the creature but revealing it seemed to be just as good in this case.
Noticing the violent change of environment, the beetle wiggled about, then opened its wings. The loud buzzing would surely alert anyone else in the area, taking it down was a priority!
"Woah! Looks like it's a fight. Ok Vulpix, flame seal!"
Kanobu pulled a scroll out of his pocket. He opened it with the ink facing the beetle. Vulpix popped out, looking at the insect in front of her. It was clear what had to be done but the little demon wondered if the area around them was going to survive. Then it saw the severed tree.
"Ok let's start!" The scroll vibrated for a second then chains exploded out of the scroll, four lines covered in oil. Vulpix shot a flicker of fire toward the chains, igniting them. The goal was to wrap it in flaming metal.
(My roll is 3, 3, and 2. Ok so that wasn't so good. It's 8... any help from any ally?)
