@SiliconColt oh my god, I love this. 10/10 will want a reboot if this finishes too soon or dies off. I cant wait till stuff happens. I love the Ideas that you have. *Reminisces of the days of Dark Cloud 2/Dark Chronicle, hoping this is somewhat like that, without the giant mech that builds stuff instantly*

i played 5 minutes of dark cloud 2. But I had 30 seconds of seeing the town building thing.

To be honest I forgot about that stuff till you brought it up.

I hope you'll be satisfied with the level of options you all will be getting in this sort of side quest.

It's not going to be an easy task to make it "safe and sound," like no one has stone houses cause there ain't a quarry. Rupees will help you hire builders but atm no one is very skilled at woodworking cause well... the last guy got squished.

:o so visiting other villages is a must, if you want exquisite architecture.

why am i even hiding what's coming?

So ya know how the octo wrecked shit by firing cannon balls everywhere?

:o The village is now lacking a great deal of buildings that a village properly needs. In fact one might say there only buildings left are the Hero's Club and oddly enough the potion maker's shack. Everything else seems to have a massive hole in the roof or has been crushed.

Martial Law is in the hands of the Hero's club and it's a good thing too since two descendants *cough* twili *cough* are from a royal lineage so ruling is in their blood. ;D they'd probably have no problem rebuilding a village.

so here's the important part;

the hero club, being the power now, will be coordinating their efforts to make this village better than before by: building new buildings and structures, fighting off monsters invading the village, and exploring the land in search for valuable resources. This of course is just a sidequest in comparison to the main story. The heroes club is free to completely ignore the village and let it rot while yall go do something fun. Contrasting to pre-octo time, this arc will start off serious and morose with the burial of a lot of villagers.

It's not the first time something bad has happened to the village but this time the suffering was quick to end.

All the dungeons are drafted. They're designed to take just enough time to be fun and show off their theme but also introduce mechanics for each item that the party will obtain via quest, shop, or dungeonering.

If problems occur in a dungeon then the rest can be edited pretty easily to accommodate for design flaws. Anyway, @crimson raven you just need to post and it's down with the bloody red octo. The plot can move forward and we can enter the next arc of the rp.

Hint: it's going to involve literal building.
Hint 2 electric boogaloo: it's going to involve lots of choice that will affect the town.

If being ignored wasn't the worst thing his father could do, it was these formal parties. Zakeo was a little bored, having thrown on hand-me downs that looked... ok at best. Yet as unhappy as they made him, he was elated to know those old videos were well hidden. His lips would remain sealed on their location, as if he'd never even heard up Nuktuk.

"So is that the chick who fell through the roof of the arena? And.. her brother? What's with the meditation?" Zakeo asked Akito, one of the few people in his family that would actually listen to him.

"A good game?! That was amazing! I mean I was kinda bored at the start then things got interesting when that girl fell through the roof." Zakeo managed to get himself into the locker room too, the press outside was building up like a traffic jam.

"Party?! Ha knew it." Of all things to be eager about it was a party. However one thing had to be done, hiding Bolin's dreadful movies. The younger firebender would no doubt find his older brother later so they could do find a good hiding spot.

"Hey dad." Zakeo said, avoiding eye contract by looking at the floor. "I know it's been a while since I asked if you could teach me to firebend. I wasn't serious when I asked but after watching that match I just have to know how it's done. I mean you're really awesome at it." He said, this time trying to see his father's reaction.

"Touch you?" Mikone imagined each genin taking a crack at their sensei. It seemed weird that hed ask for a test like that. So far it seemed like an easy idea. Pehaps it was time to think with a bit more of her own twist to the test since she was given free choice.

"HHey he said deceptively simple right? So there's probably a trick to it." the genin looked to her teammates. Hoping that helping others wasnt against the rules of this test she wanted to see if someone could try something first then the others would catch onto whatever simple the challenge lay hidden in the test.

@SiliconColtNot to be rude; but you could have phrased it as "Slow your roll."
It makes you seem less... You're know I'm your friend, but I'm going to say it as others would see it.

But such phrasing makes you sound dumb.
"Slow your roll." works better than saying "Cool downs." because it makes no sense outside of an rpgs. The only time it makes sense is when talking about abilities.

Ive never heard of slow your roll. O.o Anyway i said cool down because it was down time between the availability of fighting marks.

On an unrelated note: aphelion is coming back to rp. She pmed me. :)

If you want to rp the last of the combat with malbo fodder tgen you may. Its a rare chance to power play since every baby is a one hit kill. More like a one nudge kill. X)
