@Silvan HavenMe, Prince of Seraphs, Expolar, and Lunar are currently involved, and I find just a tiny bit of issue, continuity-wise, with your post. Shadow monster should be more focused on audden attack then random field of light. Now that being said, it's mostly a minor nitpick that I brought up mostly to get it off my chest, so do with the information what you will. Also, good post, though Lix will probably try to kill Him after he sees what happen to the father, if that was the thrown man you were referencing.

Should probably have explained it in the post but I did actually take the timing of everything into account. The bone spikes will probably be impacting as the monster steps back from the barrier. Its part of why I avoided going into much detail about what it was doing.

Also, yeah Lux is not going to be happy. However he has no way of knowing that its not some random meat puppet the guy carries around with him. Also this is really not the time or place to be attacking other mages.

So I posted Lux over to the shadow monster and promptly forgot that I should probably have stuck a mention in for whoever else is involved. Then I remembered that edited in mentions don't work and I'm not even sure who is involved soooooooo.

Six year old Filliae sobbed as she uselessly tried to dig her mother out of the pile of fallen masonry. People were screaming nearby and the air was thick with powdered morter from damaged and destroyed buildings. Through it all the little girl scrabbled at what was trapping her mommy. They had to get away from this scarry place and go find daddy, Filliae was terrified and she wanted to go to the zoo. Mommy and daddy had promised they would take her to the zoo.

The little girl's mother desperately tried to push her daughter away, to tell her to run. To flee as fast as her little legs could take her and not look back. Instead all she could do was look on in despair as the shadowy monster that had sent her husband flying seconds earlier turned to the two of them. As it sent one jagged and whispy arm rocketing forward the mother did her best to pull her young child against her and closed her eyes.

"Light Make: Citadel!"

A voice filled with rage and power called out and almost immediately a low thud eminated from somewhere nearby, golden light begining to shine through her eyelids. Slowly the young mother opened her eyes, wondering why they were not dead yet. Once she caught sight of her surroundings though, they flew open in shock. Surrounding the pair was a series of semitransparent walls that eminated the soft light that bathed them. The monster was in the middle of withdrawing a step as if to examine what was sepperating it from it's prey.

From slightly farther down the street Lux Harken looked upon the scene. One hand held out before him, a result of his casting while the other trembled as it held onto an empty hilt. It was not fear that caused the tremble though. No, raw fury filled his mind at the moment. Fury directed solely at the dark beast and whoever had called it.

"I believe that the plan was for the stealthier of you to accompany me around back to see what we could find."

Beryl had been content to remain quiet and let the others figure out the plan. At this point though, her staying silent would do nothing but waste precious time. They needed to get moving before something happened to Gratia.

She adjusted her sword belt and did a few light stretches. She looked at the other two with a slightly impatient face.

"Best we get moving sooner than later, the person who remains behind can move in when things start exploding."

We've only ever seen three types of Mold Magic (Ice, Memory, and Wood) so I'm not really sure where there is room in that to have separate classes within it. I think it's called Mold Magic but because it's not referred to often by name people have taken to calling it Maker Magic because whenever it's in use the caster shouts "(desired element) MAKE (desired form)!"

Caits character Sasha is labelled as having: Molding Magic, Ice so I'm not the only one aware of this.
