I think that most of your spats with Snow would have been good times to get clarification from another GM before continuing.
Most of your problems seem to come from a lack of information. In the most recent case it was because you acted before seeing if the problem had already been fixed. If you check in with the other GMs before taking action or making rulings it would allow them to fill in certain things and give you a fact check on others.
No more I agree, blah blah blah. Don't just comment on your dissatisfaction and be done, include an idea to fix the problem,
Prince checks with his fellow GMs before trying to fix stuff.

No, it wasn't, but if the idea was that I should host the contest, I missed that. If anyone wants a contest to exist, the surest way to do it is set them up themselves.

Despite not knowing too many of the details of the scenario, chances are that the rest of the family would be getting up in the near future. The heads of a prestigious family would have a lot of work to do.
Worst case scenario the guards tell any visitors to come back in an hour or wait in the courtyard. Assuming said guards don't direct them to the PC who lives there.
