Personality: Simone is a hard worker. That was the one thing her parents made sure to teach her. But she's very judgmental of the people around her. Appearances are everything to her. She has no problem manipulating others to get what she wants and to make herself look good. It takes a lot of hard work to get to know her and get past her defenses. The ones who do, she is fiercely loyal to. She protects the people who are important to her. She doesn't trust others easily and she prefers to do things herself unless absolutely necessary. She pretends to be friendly to everyone in school, but it's really to have the connections for the future.

Brief Bio: Simone grew up with both of her parents. All she remembered growing up was spending time in her mother's restaurant. Despite having the money to hire employees, both Tiana and Naveen still work in their restaurant when they aren't too busy. Simone got her mother's knack for cooking and can be found in a kitchen whenever she's stressed out. Rather than spending money on gifts, she usually makes meals or desserts for people's birthdays.

When she was a toddler she figured out that people would give her whatever she wanted because she was a princess. The ones who didn't usually bent to her will if she batted her eyes or threw a tantrum. When she started at Auradon Prep she was surrounded by other princes and princesses. Suddenly, she realized that she didn't have as much control over others as she thought. Rather than giving up, she embodied her parents' lessons and worked harder to get what she wanted. Simone made some really good friends and lost some as well.

Her mom caught her in the middle of a scheme and has gone out of her way to try and reform her daughter. Now, whenever Simone knows that her mother is coming to an event at school, she tones down all her manipulative behavior. She would rather have a good relationship with her mother than have things go her way. She even started spending all her holiday breaks working full time as a junior chef in the restaurant instead of lounging by the pool.

Other: Her first year at Auradon she got a key to the kitchen. She rarely eats what the school provides, usually choosing to make her own meals.

True to her usual nature, despite knowing that they had the bonfire tonight, Jasmine was nowhere close to being ready to go. In fact when Divine had dropped by her room she had just gotten out of the shower and was putting on some makeup. She snorted and rolled her eyes as she was rushed along. "I'm running behind so I'll meet you guys there. Behave!" She yelled teasingly. Even though it was a short ride to the beach then everyone could go their separate ways and party, it was entirely possible for her best friend to get pissed off if the right buttons were pushed.

Jasmine forced herself to focus on what she was doing. She was already running late and didn't want to miss out on everything because she let her mind wander. After putting on her makeup, she threw on a white dress over her bikini. She stuffed a towel, hair clip, and a few other items into a tote bag before slipping on some rings and fluffing her curls. She gave herself one more glance in the mirror to make sure everything was together as she grabbed her keys and headed down the stairs. She had no idea who was still at the sorority house and who had already left. Rather than spending more time waiting for another group of girls to gather in a car, she decided to drive herself.

Throwing her bag in the passenger seat of her car she quickly started it up and drove off towards the beach. Rolling down her window, she let the breeze blow through her hair. With a little luck on her side, she managed to glide through traffic without hitting any lights or obnoxiously stupid drivers and was able to make up on some of the lost time. She grabbed her bag and slid it onto her shoulder before walking down towards the party. The music was loud and Jasmine nodded along to the beat. It didn't take her much longer to find a cooler full of beer. She took a swig and spotted people crowding around a tray of food. The only person she knew who cooked for the hell of it was Choua. That must mean that the other girls in her sorority were close by. Sure enough, as she scanned the crowd she spotted most of them dancing close by. Making her way over to the group, she waved at the girls before smiling. "You all look amazing." She complimented before taking another swig of her beer.

Appearance: Jasmine is average height at five feet, six inches. She doesn't like to talk about her weight, but she's skinny with a few curves. Her hair falls past her shoulders in dark, tight coils. Over the summer she added light brown highlights to the ends of her hair. She loves the way they add more depth and volume to her curls. As the stress of finals get closer she usually switches to weave to save herself a bit of unnecessary stress. She has one piercing in her ears and a piercing in her septum. She likes to dress for comfort, more than style. She prefers simple outfits, but her paint-splattered clothes and jewelry obsession make her appear more fashionable than she really is. She has a tattoo on the inside of her right bicep of a paintbrush in black and white. She wears makeup when she has the time to put it on. Often she runs out with a little bit of eyeliner and some lip gloss.

Personality: Jasmine is a bright and colorful person. She can see the beauty in everything around her, which tends to make her zone out on occasions. She enjoys those around her and considers herself to be a good friend. She usually has a lot of thoughts running through her mind which lead to many artistic projects. She's sat in certain places for hours trying to figure out how to capture what she sees into a timestamp. She's always been the go to person whenever somebody wanted something a painting or a poster created. While she's always willing to help others out artistically, Jasmine isn't as open when it comes to everything else.

She's always jumping in with her opinion on a topic and will go on for hours if you let her. Jasmine rarely admits that she's wrong, but she's quick to tell others that they are. She doesn't devote the same time or patience to her social interactions as she does with her art. It makes her the type to rip the bandaid off. She doesn't care for the drama and believes that a real friend will tell you the truth regardless of whether you might like it. She doesn't share much about her own life. She's an extreme procrastinator and claims that it gives her the motivation to finish when it's done at the last possible second. This also means that her health gets put on the back burner until it becomes catastrophic.

History: Jasmine Simmons was born to Taylor and Ryan. She's an only child. When she was two her parents got divorced. She was too young to remember it, so it never really bothered her. Her mom stayed in upstate New York while her dad moved down to Texas. She lived with her mom, but would spend summer and holiday breaks living with her dad. Jas always enjoyed switching back and forth between the two. Luckily, her parents' divorce was amicable so on major events and birthdays she could have both of them with her without it ending in a screaming match. She has a younger half-brother, Ian. He's the child from her dad's second marriage. Even though they don't see each other that often, they're actually very close and talk as often as possible.

In elementary school, Jasmine was constantly in and out of doctor's offices. She would either be suffering from an ear or sinus infection or she would break something from doing something reckless. She considered herself to be invincible. She would constantly find taller things to climb and jump off of. Finally, having had enough, her dad enrolled her in a summer art camp. It was far more than macaroni necklaces and glitter glue. This camp was paint smocks and clay ovens. She fell hopelessly in love with art. From that point on it was the only thing she really cared about. Her parents were just glad they didn't have to make any more frequent trips to the ER for X-rays.

By the time high school rolled around, Jasmine had honed her artistic skills and her parents supported her completely. She made frequent trips to Manhattan to see as many art exhibits as possible. With a little help from a friend, she even managed to create her own website where people can commission her artwork. She managed to maintain decent grades all throughout high school. When it came time to apply for colleges, her dad informed her that he was getting another divorce and Ian was moving to Mississippi. Deciding that's where she needed to be, she applied to Pennbrooke University. So far, college had been far more intense than she had been expecting. Jasmine's last minute slacker nature was putting her further and further behind. When she got notification that she had lost her scholarship, she was terrified to tell her parents. She wasn't sure if she was going to be able to stay enrolled. She's never seen either of her parents so disappointed. The stress of everything began to take its toll in the form of an eating disorder. She's hoping that the girls in her sorority will become like family and help her rebound from all of this.

History

Jackson has been fighting his entire life. Sometimes physically brawling with others, but mostly fighting to overcome the odds that surrounded him. Growing up he lived with his mom and several half-siblings, all fathered by different men. There was always some "boyfriend" that lingered throughout his house and it usually brought about a younger sibling to take care of. As much as he would've loved a dedicated mother to care for him and his seven siblings, he didn't have one. Jackson was basically raised by his older sister, Andy. She taught him how to be a good and decent person, to stand up for himself, and how to duck when beer bottles came crashing over his head from fights that happened in the house. When he was nine, Andy ran away and left him behind. He tried to take care of his three younger siblings. He started pickpocketing strangers to get them food to eat or a nice toy on their birthday.

When he turned eleven and he got the letter from Hogwarts, he thought it was some cruel sort of joke. There was nothing special about him. But when Jackson looked around at his life, he was more than willing to take the chance on this magic school if it meant escaping where he was now. When he arrived, he learned that he was a mudblood. A lot of the kids in his house ignored him or bullied him when they found out. So he poured himself into his schoolwork. He might not come from a lineage of wizards and witches, but he was going to become better than them. He would prove to the world that he could do it all by himself. Over the years Jackson managed to befriend a lot of people and became quite popular despite never taking up quidditch. As his final year draws to a close, he spends more and more of his time making connections to land a decent job in the Ministry of Magic and maybe even become the Minister of Magic, himself.

Jackson never really had anyone to rely on, so he was forced to rely on himself. When he lived in Virginia he had to take care of his siblings or else no one would. So, he had to find odd jobs to do or successfully steal small items for dinner without getting caught. The amount of times he was called worthless or was forgotten about made Jackson grow hard. His grades weren't good until he started getting bullied in his first year. The idea of being a joke in the muggle world and in the magic one was enough to spur him on to be better than everyone. Once he managed to make a solid group of friends, Jackson would always be the first one to do something. Someone wanted to skip class? Jackson was the first one out. Someone wanted to pull a prank on the teacher? Jackson had his wand out first. The professors at Hogwarts were constantly amazed at how he managed to walk the line of troublemaker and star student.
