Sionnie sighed and resigned to the mage, midget. she walked over to him her facial expression had not changed and with little effort she sprung into a sprint and lept right in front of the gnome than squatted down to look him in the eyes with a poised look. "What now?" She said as she tilted her head, she wondered if she had startled him..
Currently waiting on natsu's response. I will not make it too difficult to get sionnie to join ya'll but i think it is out of her character for her not to have to be convinced.. I know i am difficult.. :p
Sionnie stopped realizing some one had cast a spell at her. She was surprised by the absolute gall he must have had. She glared at the conjured image the mage created and said "stop this" quietly and coldly. She stood quietly to see what he would do next.
mind If I interfere with her? It'll be in a nontreathening matter. just showing off some magic.

Not at all but cast any kind of attack spell and she'll attack back.. She does not trust people. right now all she see's are threats.
Sionnie had already left, she did not like waiting on others and left as soon as the dwarf mentioned scouting..
@VKAllen I'll look forward to Mezmer when or if you decide to throw it in till then i am 6 levels away so let get there >:>
See@Bigg Slamm, @VKAllen I have good taste in Dwarves and Dwelves! Lol
@Natsucooldude And i work on the Mezmer concept to create a lvl 6 weapon we though might be approved and now i would like to propose the Dagger Mezmer to you @VKAllen.
Mezmer creates the impairment when the blade make contact with their blood. Those who are cut fall subject to an optical illusion. I would describe the release technique as something like a trump card. Up and down, left and right as well as forward and backward are reversed. However, it is not just the sense of direction that is changed; the opponent's eyesight, direction of incoming attacks, and injury locations are also inverted. However it does need a weakness. So we thought it should only effect one Mob at a time.

The exact mechanics i still do not quite understand so yeah, but if needed @Natsucooldude new just how to limit it and nerf it down for single combat!

Bond: His family is the most important thing in his life, even if they are far from him.

Flaw: He remembers every insult he has reseived and nurses a silent resentment towards anyone who's ever wronged him.

History: Born of the most unlikely a pair as anyone could imagine. It is known elf and dwarf kind don't exactly see eye to eye despite stature wise. It also didn't help when most elves are noble by some birthright and look down on "common folk". So when Jethro's parents first met they actually hated each other. It happened they both belonged to a prestigous guild known for hunting monsters and beasts of all shapes and sizes. It was on one of these quests they found love, and it was on one of these quests they died in each other's arms. Being raised as an orphan in a monster hunting guild had it's ups and downs. Being told you we're probably the only one of your kind over and over makes one bear grudges towards those with poor to no tolerence for mixed races. Being a loner makes one curious. Jethro's curiousity knows no bounds. After years of begging he was finally told what had killed his parents, an elder chimara. A year or two after he was born the couple had announced their retirement and after one last hunt they would head for home. However, they never came back along side half of the eight man party sent to assist. Now that he has come of age he plans for his own adventure.
@VKAllen
Now on to my final point, writing a backstory for a tabletop rpg. I have seen a mix of good and bad practices from everyone here so far. You have some freedom in making generic points in your backstory like 'parents killed by griffin' and such. What is not all that ok however, is making assumptions that, for example, entire swathes of the setting are dominated by virulent tiefling racism. Sure, the rules state tieflings are rather distrusted by the general populace. But the way i've seen it described is more a mob with torches and pitchforks reaction rather than the implied universal cold shoulder the rules gives us.

Also, feel free to leave some strategic holes in your backstory for the GM to fill in. Using my own character as an example, I've said he's a suspected bastard from a minor noble family. I've left the details of the matter purposefully vague so the GM can expand upon it on their own accord if they ever feel inclined to do so.

well then, if anyone wants any clarification to the points I made, feel free to ask me either here in the OOC or in a PM. I'll now be waiting for a GM post.

@Natsucooldude About sionnie's bio. I have offered to have it changed more than once for the Gm in which it has been refused... In almost every setting drow, half – orc,and tiefling have not been well recieved by the other races and yet had it been a problem that I assumed it would be the same here I offered to fix it multiple time in each I was told " NOTHING NEEDS TO BE CHANGED“. This leads me to believe the the setting here for tiefling is simular to forgotten realms and the other settings. So forgive if I am rude but your statement seems redundant. If the Gm has a problem with the way sionnie is received I will change it but thus far this offer has been declined every time. This leads me to think that you personally are the only one who dislikes my tiefling. I really do not know why but I want to fix that!

The highlighted statement above proved my assumption further because when a half -orc walks in a city the are typically snickered at and given a cold shoulder, and a dark elf (read legend of Drizzt) typicaly given the coldshoulder and constantly turned away, but as you just said tiefling are typically welcomed by a mob with intent to kill them for no better reason than the have horns! With your statement I could assume that not only is there racism towards tiefling but it is even more violent for them than any other race! And here i thought Dark Elves had it the hardest...

Secondly sionnie leaves plenty of her backstory undiscovered.. We know she was abducted when young and horribly experimented on. But by who? Why? I said they wanted to bring out the demon in her blood, to unlock hidden infernal power, but why? What do they have to gain? Maybe it was the Cult of Ashmordie.. That might make since but who really knows what our Gm might come up with. Sionnie does not even remember where she is from or her last name, or even her parents who could still be out there and alive.. Sionnie is one mystery to solve after another, if the Gm wants us to discover her past.. Then he may set up an adventure for her. But I think there is plenty to work with right here..
