I stood amongst the others as the probation worker informed us of what was going on.
"You are on community service. You will serve the community, giving back the time you took from all of us." He said. He stood there in front of us, a large beast-like man. His arms were forcing their bulgy muscles out of his shirt. A tight-fit shirt he obviously didn't pick carefully. "If that wasn't clear enough for you, you're going to clean stuff up and help people" he added with a sarcastic tone. "You have one hour before we start, be in the community center in one hour sharp." He ordered. He gave us all one last look before walking to the community center.
"Well he's not the friendly type is he?" I said, watching him as he walked.

Bio: Luke grew up in the bad part of Wertham. Despite this, he still grew up to be a good kid, with the downside of getting aggravated quickly. He was put on community service for fighting. The fight got out of hand and the other person was almost killed.

Two men stood in the room deep in conversation. The room is small, lit up by consoles around the room. The two men wore white lab coats. They stood next to a console connected to a large screen. On the console is a lever, labelled "DO NOT TOUCH".

"Are we ready?"

"Almost Sir."

"Good. I want this done as quick as we can"

"Sir, why Wertham again?"

"It's still in its testing stage. It needs to be perfected before we move it. Wertham has the perfect climate for it"

"But it's been 5 years since it last happened. Surely it ca-"

"It HAS to be perfected. Is it ready?"

"Yes Sir."

"Good. Start it up"

"Yes Sir."

He placed his hand on the lever and looked his superior in the eye before nodding. He pulled the lever down and machines around him booted up.

Plot: It's been five years since the first two storms. making it 2015. A group of youths are on community service, doing their work on what seemed to be an ordinary day. That is, until it hit. Whilst working, a storm gathered. The clouds grouped up above Wertham. It started raining. Ice. Large blocks of ice fell from the sky and as the youths ran for cover, that's when the lightning hit them, sending them flying backwards, seemingly slowing down time and unknowingly giving the powers. How they deal with the aftermath of the storm is up to them.

So basically, the RP starts half an hour before the storm hits, giving the characters enough time to get to know eachother and share their stories. The storm hits, giving them powers and the big plot unfolds from there.

So... Rules

I trust you guys enough to know the basic rules, that's all I'm asking you to follow.
Swearing is allowed. Sexual posts are allowed too, just don't go too far.
Your character must be over 18 and under 30 (Not too sure, just make sure you're a youth)
Don't go over the top with your power either.
