Blades of Mercy: "A special trick weapon passed down among hunters of hunters. One of the oldest weapons of the workshop. Splits into two when activated. The weapon's warped blades are forged with siderite, a rare mineral of the heavens. Most effective swift attacks,such as after a quick-stepping." An interesting short bladed weapon. The user may one hand it, but its real uniqueness shows when the user splits it into two short blades.

Repeating Pistol: " Repeating pistol typically used by Healing Church hunters. Crafted with mostly metal parts and exhibiting a complex design, the repeating pistol fires two shots at once, making it a ravenous consumer of Quicksilver Bullets. Should be used sparingly compared to its workshop counterpart, as the trump card in one's arsenal."

Throwing Knives: "A favored weapon of the hunter for quick, ranged attacks."

-Clothing/Armor-
Katrin is a true hunter, choosing to wear the traditional garb of the Hunter. It offers all around good defense and mobility, perfect for hunting the beasts of the night. However, instead of the traditional Hunter Hat, she sports a special hat, one to took as a reminder from someone she once knew.....

Abilities:
Quickening: When using this hunter tool, the Hunter appears to teleport while rolling or using the quickstep technique.
Fire Paper: "Coarse paper that applies fire to weapons when rubbed. A hunter tool found in the Healing Church workshop. Since the tragedy that struck Old Yharnam, fire has become a staple in beast hunts, and is thought to cleanse impurity. Certain types of beasts have an abnormal fear of flame."
Bolt Paper:"Coarse paper that applies bolt to weapons when rubbed. Invented by Archibald, the infamous eccentric of the Healing Church workshop. Artificially recreates the blue sparks that are said to surround darkbeasts. Unlike the other strange weapons created by Archibald, this one was favored by many hunters, in particular those who had even once laid eyes on a darkbeast."

Weaknesses and Limitations:
A hunter of the dream cannot, per say, die in the traditional sense. No, they only revert to their truly mortal state after the Scourge of the Beast takes them. Bloodlust is something all hunters must fear. If a hunter looses oneself to the bloodlust, they will transform into a terrible, inhuman beast and attack anything in their path. Hunters cannot come back after they succumb to the bloodlust, they will only fight and consume until they are finally put down as the beasts they are. Thus Ava, like many others, is careful in combat. Always trying not to let her blood boil, trying not to get to emotional in combat. Just simply trying to stave off what some may consider.... inevitable.

Personality:
Katrin is a quiet, reserved individual. She prefers to keep to herself and treats her comrades as co-workers rather than fellow knights bravely facing the beastly scourge. In fact, much of her personality begs the question as to why she was ever part of Ludwigs rabble as opposed to some other faction. She's not particularly friendly, doesn't seem to see much fulfillment in what was called "The Hunt", and can be shockingly witty and sarcastic. Well, the single sole factor is loyalty. If one earns respect of Katrin, or befriends her, you can count on her to support you. This is why she had so devoutly follows Ludwig, as she is utterly loyal to him. While not afraid to call you out on stupid decisions, she will follow you into the depths of hell and back.

Backstory:
"Yharnam, it may be hard to believe it, but there was a time before the Beastly Scourge gutted this city of its glory. A time of prosperity and revelry. Ah.... but, those times are not with use today, eh good hunter? No, this terrible night seems to be a long one. There are no men left in the streets of Yharnam anymore... only beasts."

Katrin knows little of her past. Where she comes from, or where she's going. As one night she simply woke up, finding herself in a clinic of the "Healing Church", the powerhouse of Yharnam. She was infuses with what was known as "Old Blood", allowing her to move faster, hit harder, and react sooner than any normal man. However, it came at a price. She, like many other hunters before her, found herself unable to die, or at least, move on. Upon her "death" she would awake in a different plane of existence known as "The Hunter's Dream" where she could then return from in the waking world, alive again, albeit missing something.

Now she finds herself in a new, strange realm. Of that is much more than just the crazed beasts in the streets of Yharnam


Entry Point:
Katrin was returning from the Hunter's Nightmare, a hellish realm that is the result of the curse of the fishermen. As she was, however, something strange happened....
