Watching from the crowd, Anneli had slowly made her way to the back. Ya, she was all for making new friends (Well... trying to at least...), learning and watching everyone's abilities, and potentially showing off the quirk that at least somewhat justified her appearance, but a long jump? "Painu vittuun! Like hell I'm gonna do that!" She thought angrily, continuing to make herself as unnoticeable as possible. As Anneli saw it, best case scenario she goes unnoticed and the class goes on to the next activity. Worst case scenario, she has to go last.

But oh boy, did poor Anneli underestimate what could qualify as "Worst Case Scenario." An arch of electricity suddenly shot towards the crowd, each student reacting and even trying to counter it. But Anneli... well... She had but a moment to herself before the electricity hit her full force. As it came towards her, a single word was uttered by Anneli, breaking her silence.

"Paska..."

The electricity slammed into her full force, causing her eyes to shoot wide open and her body to collapse to the ground. It felt as if every muscle was trying to escape from her skeleton as she sputtered and gasped on the ground, white smoke rising. For a good minute, she convulsed involuntarily before finally coming to a stop. The immediate pain had stopped, but she ached all over and simply laid there, moaning with her raspy voice. Each heavy breath let out a small amount of thick, white smoke. "Vitun mulkku...." she moaned aloud, glaring through her pain at the idiot that just shocked her. "Nurse's... office.... please...." she said, trying to get up.

I feel ya. I'm currently working at an Amazon Warehouse and already hell is breaking loose. Got pretty much permanent overtime until January. Thanksgiving is fine, but Black Friday or Cyber Monday, fucking hell man....

Called Shirobako if anyone's interested. Definitely is giving me perspective about the herculean effort that goes into producing even the most monotonous of shows.

With a scratchy sigh and a stretch, Anneli slowly got up from her desk to head to where the teacher had told them to go. She was pretty irritated already about how things were seemingly just stumbling along without a moment to breath. She had barely enough time to introduce herself, let alone unpack, before the bell had rang and gathered all the student of her class together.

Then, before she knew it, the teacher was revealed to be a creepy dude, making oddly specific promises about entering their showers and such. Not to mention he went by "The Professor". Like, what the hell kind of school was this? Anneli was then, once again, unpleasantly surprised when the teacher then instructed them to make their way out to an area marked "jumping activities" or something. The promise of intense physical activity was not well received by someone who had a hard enough time just breathing.

"Ugh... And now how am I suppose to mingle and socialize with everyone while we walk? Dammit...." she thought to herself as she began to make her way over. She spotted the group from her dorm already talking and walking with others from the class. Anneli frowned when she was saw Tori. Normally Anneli was used to people reacting the way she did when Tori saw her, but when it came from someone who already resembled somebody Anneli hated, it only poured a bucket of salt on her wounds.

With a heavy sigh, Anneli silently made her way to the activity area, mostly keeping to herself for now.

Honestly... I'd rather die from the impact of falling from high up then get burned alive by White Phosphorous.
