"Yes, the beach sounds really nice." Skylark chirped immediately after his brother, wondering who exactly was older. His brother? Or him? Humming pleasantly, he laced his fingers with Leo's and Sleipnir's as they traversed together across the ashes and rubble of what was once civilization. Except this time' he didn't have any wooly socks to keep him warm, only Leo and his twin.

"Leo? Why does everyone talk about what the earth was like before? If it got ruined, can't you guys just bring it back to life?" Sometimes, Leo didn't seem like he knew much, but Skylark believed otherwise. He had heard the lazy Hydra's name before. Leo, along with Beelzebub and Noire, had taken charge while their king was absent. So he knew Leo had it in him to be ultimately powerful in his own way.

"Leo? Can you make us a shelter somehow? I... think you're really powerful' right?"
Seeing Ferrum's panic, Terra also followed suit. "Ferrum, I can't say I disagree. I'd like to tell you a story, if that's alright. No, no need to stop. I can... multitask." Looking around at the paintings on the walls, Terra paused to admire the brushwork and strokes. Someone was painting the ocean, and other paintings were of the hydra. Strangely, the way they were portrayed made them seem like they had souls. Did one of the hydra do this?

And then... there was a a giant portrait of a boy at the end of the hall. She had seen his face millions of times before, in warnings and on wanted posters. This boy was the king of the hydra, Edge. But... no, this was a photograph. He wasn't wearing any regal clothes and appeared human. But he had wounds everywhere. In his eyes wasn't anger or despair. A smile of understanding graced the boy's features, as if he really was divine. Just then she heard a shout. Though she didn't know it, it was Charon.

"Edge will free them all! And you know that, don't you? You're scared of him, of his power!"

"F-Free them? Impossible." She mused, though began her story. "Back when I was still growing up, a hydra was spotted somewhere in our territory. It was enough to have the local wood dragon clan attack our village, trying to smoke her out. When they couldn't find her, they started slaughtering us, threatening to kill all of our eggs and young. But then, when they went to carry out their threat, none could be found. Mysteriously, the wood dragons all fainted, and we were able to place them far away from our village. At least, that's what I was told. I wasn't there."

She cleared her throat. "I was only a mere child then, and I didn't know what was going on. I do know that a pretty dragoness with violet eyes led all us children to a safe place under a waterfall, and told us all to keep quiet so we shouldn't be seen. She carried my little sister's egg, and kept whispering to it. When my sister was born, she was wiser than most dragons. I didn't realize the girl who helped us was a hydra until I grew up. But the hydra have done so much to not only dragon kind, but to the world, I had almost forgotten about that... Ferrum, what do you say? I say that the Hydra are our key to reviving the earth. Why do we fight them even now? The damage is done. If we kill them all, eventually the humans will kill us."
Edge's eyes burned as he listened with great care to the dirty dragon. That's right... he was divine, but this creature lied to him. Edge... what he had done, why he had done it, how he had lost his mind. "I'm not the one at fault here... I'm just... the victim of a power that I can't help." He murmured, with tears to the dragon he didn't even recognize anymore.

When Edge absorbed a person's negative feelings, his own got messed up. It made it hard to think straight. That was why he had the hydra. By giving the awful emotions to them, Edge was freed of them and in turn' the hydras became more powerful. Though he had a rocky relationship with Beelzebub, he was positive that the others liked him at least a little bit. "I didn't make the humans. I just showed them knowledge." The hydra corrected.

"Please, tell me something nice, I know Path is in there. I... I'm sure now, I'm sure I love him! Path, I'm sorry! I never meant to hurt you or our kids! But... I'm not dying yet! I have to know what it's like, living with a light heart! I did it only once before, when I was human, you-you don't understand how hard it is to not lash out...! I... I have a plan! I can get rid of all this... darkness inside me and restore the earth at the same time, I swear!"

Edge bit his lip nervously. Right now, his body was human. "Tell me how you feel! Please! I need to know!"
This plot would require us to double, but I don't think you'd mind. Would you mind playing a vampire? :p

So there are two step brothers. In this world, magic is known of but rare. They both come from really established bloodlines and are both harboring great potential. When they were younger, they lived on an estate with their parents, but my character loses control of his power one day and accidentally hurts yours. Nothing too bad, but he is sent away to live with their eccentric uncle, who teaches him to control his powers with the help of a familiar. His familiar is captured in a book called a grimoire, and can be whatever creature or spirit you want him to be, but he has to be able to appear human.

Anyways, the two brothers eventually lose contact. One day, your character is attacked at night by a vampire, and if turned into a vampire himself. These vampires can compose themselves, and do not sparkle, lol. They also age, and are sensitive to the sun. Also, they drink blood otherwise they eventually starve to death. We can make up more lore as we go along, bit it will have a more fantasy feel, while this RP is a bit more SciFi. Your character is sent to live with the uncle as well, because being a vampire amplified his magical ability. My character is tasked with training his brother. I will control the vampire that bit yours, which will be a recurring character, as well as the brother. You will control the grimoire, though I suppose you can substitute it with another role. I was thinking we could have he uncle house a bunch of teenage boys with little self control so that will give us a lot of ways to ship?
I have to admit I kind of lost interest in our roleplay. Can we start over with a new plot and characters? If you're still into it, then I'll get a post going, but I felt like I screwed it up. Sorry about that. Live and learn, I guess. >_<
'Tis fine! :D Get your sleep and then dazzle me with one of your usual posts. xD I can wait for a super long time.
"Lookin' sharp, Winter. Lookin' real sharp."

Making various faces into the mirror, the seventeen-year-old ran a comb through his deep black hair. It was such a tint that one might think he had dyed it black, but they would be mistaken. It was short, but long enough to be spiked. Winter was a few inches short of six feet, so he was about the average height for someone his age. Icy cyan eyes glittered with excitement as he smoothed his clothes. They contrasted greatly with his lightly tanned skin. Today was the day he would finally embark on his journey to become a champion. It was a goal that hundreds of youth had, but less than a handful actually got to taste. But with an older brother living far away as a pokemon breeder, Winter considered himself two steps ahead.

He was wearing a t-shirt that had a sketch of the Prism Tower in the Kalos region under a black jean jacket with a high cut, and sleeves folded up to his elbows, with dark red lace up boots and slim olive pants. Winter usually liked the flashier clothes, but if he was serious about being a trainer, he would have to wear more mobile clothes. Feeling a tug on his pant leg, the boy looked down at his partner pokemon. "Huh? What'd you want? You know I can't tell what you're thinking when I look into your glowing, soulless eyes, right?" The trainer to-be joked with a smile, causing the tiny phantump to whine. Chartarum's voice sounded like a baby's, which unnerved even Winter the horror fanatic.

After levitating to his shoulder area, the pokemon let out a cry once more, not because it was distraught, but because it was how ghost types were. With a smile, Winter grabbed his partner by the stump and gently pushed him away. "Aren't you so excited?! We have to meet Rhys today at the soda pop shoppe so we can leave this back water town!" He sang while running to the kitchen, alarm clock beeping as he left the room. It was six o' clock, six hours before the meeting time. Chartarum trailed his master slowly.

"Okay," Winter admitted, biting into his omelette, "So Slateport is actually a pretty cool city, being by the beach and all. Don't you think?" Stare. "You know, Char-tar-um, you aren't exactly the most loving of pokemon. Can I at least get a nod?" Red eyes seeming to focus, the ghost type seemed unresponsive and Winter sighed, a bit disappointed. Suddenly, the boy heard a rattling. Eyes widening as he realized it was coming from the sink, he didn't notice his pokemon's eyes glow a green. It wasn't from the sink, it was the potted plant that had mysteriously grown and fallen into the sink. "I will never understand you, mister." In turn, the pokemon almost giggled. Almost.

"And the funny thing is, I actually expected him to be on time." The teen finished, hugging his phantump to his body like it was his only friend. The little girl was confused, but squeezed her inner tube. "Uh... that's sad, mister... But uh, you said you would help me find my mommy...." The teen combed a hand through his hair, clearly not listening to the tuber. "And then, Rhys will probably just pop outta nowhere, and will I forgive him? No. Nuh- uh. Because I'm always expected to hang by his immature hide, no matter what! Plus he still owes me a copy of To Kill a Murkrow." Cyan eyes narrowing, he took another sip of his lime soda bottle. Just then, he heard his best friend's voice and his eyes lit up. "Awyeah!" He ruffled the random child's hair even as she complained to him, but he wasn't playing attention.

Being careful not to step on any sandcastles, or small children building sandcastles, Winter snuck up behind the brunette, and convinced his best friend wasn't paying attention, sent a playful punch to his shoulder. "You know, if you and Chrys were planning on hanging out without me, you could have let me know. I stayed up all night!" He complained with a pout. Crossing his arms, the trainer dug into his off-the-shoulder bag until he found his hollocaster. Then, he hit Rhys in the back with it. 'We have these things for a reason, you know! They're not just for looking at naked people!"
Okay! I'll respond when I have time. On a different note, would you be interested in starting another roleplay with me? I have an idea involving step brothers, demons, and magic. ^-^ If not, that's cool too.
Uhm, alright, then SLATEPORT cause the beach is awesome.
Okay, then here are a few classes I had one the backburner, tell me which ones are acceptable or not, please. ^-^

Valkyrie: Armored melee class that fights with spears and arial/jumping attacks.

Necromancer: Caster class that fights by summoning minions, the undead and other sinister spells.

Conjurer: Summon contracted creatures, but in contrast to summoners, the conjured creatures have more supportive abilities, so conjurers can learn weak magic spells.
Hey! I'm interested but have a few things going on at the moment so I'll make CS in a bit.
Pshaw. XD
So what city are they in? Slateport?
