From the dawn of time, Humanity has strived to discover the unknown. When we first created fire, to when we first created machines. But now? When we have forgotten so much? We have to rediscover what has already been discovered, it’s a long and strenuous task. But there are always brave men and women with an iron will, wanting to go into the area we call the Shatterzone. A part of our world broken and destroyed by what some call the wrath of the gods, where landmasses smashed together to form tremendous mountains, where massive beasts roam and thrive on the chaos, and the land itself froze in the sky, never to come down again. Where fallen airships lie, their guns silenced and their hulls ripped asunder by creatures who can rend metal apart as if it were paper. Where the secrets of the past lay locked away, ancient relics long lost, holding unimaginable power. That is why we wish to rediscover, to find ourselves again, to find the secrets and relics, and to regain that part of us which is lost.

There have been many who have sought out the treasures of the Shatterzone, some returned home with revolutionary devices, weaponry, riches untold. But they are the exception, and to survive, you must be exceptional.
The previous two Armada Class Exploratory Vessels, the Red Fury, helmed by Lord Stehmahr Gearheart, and the Harlequin Stage helmed by Duke Tobias Prinzhorn. Both were entrusted with the prized vessels of the Order of Progression, ships refurbished from before the shatter, some of the most advanced machines in existence.
There are no laws in the Shatterzone, pirates run rampant in the sky on stolen Airships, and a cult of unknown origin frequently emerges from the mist of the Zone to claim technology on the outer circle. For what purpose the Order does not yet know, but they have proven to be hostile, and are to be avoided at all costs.

Stick with us, keep your head down, and listen to what the Captain tells you, and you could see things no man was ever meant to, good and bad. You could see the past, and we'll bring it back to shape the future.
Welcome to the Armada Class Explorer Ship, Tychon the Cobalt Trireme. Steel yourself for the unexpected and unknown.
Additional intel will come in the briefing. Any questions?

>>OOC Stuff<<

Announcements and stuff
3/8/2015
If you want to contribute to the worldbuilding stuff, like a new race, etc, go ahead.
Note that Tychon is a brand new ship, and we are its first crew. The beginning stages of the RP will have us be at Port Titanicus, boarding Tychon.
OOC incoming. Stuff that is included in the OOC, races, stuff about the Tychon the Cobalt Trireme, and others. The worldbuilding is still WIP, just saying.
Professor Pavel Vorosky - Period 5, Survival
Pavel chuckled at some of the landings, some of which were done well, others not so well. A cloaked student walked up to him, confusion on his face, "What...was that? I've never heard of anybody but me being able to teleport, and...we all just did it. This is weird." The student asked. Pavel took off his gas mask and hooked it on his belt, "What we all just jumped through is an anomaly called a Teleport. These anomalies I keep mentioning are 'rifts where the laws of physics and nature are bent and broken'." He stated, "Or so say the scientists." Pavel then noticed Sarina come though, the assistant of the good witch named Goodwitch. However, Daniel, was standing a bit too close to her landing path, and was nearly hit. Pavel frowned slightly as the student said something unwise. Pavel walked forth and placed a hand on Daniel's shoulder, "Sarina, it is always a pleasure to have you here, although I was not aware you would be joining us. There should be a bottle or two of vodka somewhere if you want a drink." He offered, "And you, young man, I have several tasks for you." He looked at Daniel. Taking his hand off Daniel's shoulder, he started to speak, addressing the entire class. "Now, you all could have chosen a different class. Physical Education, it is good to be fit. Or maybe Combat Practice, to become strong, like bull." He began, "But no, you have chosen my subject, Survival. Your reasons are your own, but here, we are all equal. All trying to survive, yes, some of us are more experienced, but it is the duty of the experienced to help the inexperienced. As I am doing now. He paused. "I have seen soldiers. Trained killers. Fall to the elements. Yes, it is good to be fit, it is good to be strong, but if you do not know how to make a fire for warmth, or gather the right herbs if you are ill, you will die. Today, you will learn how to make a campfire. Now, get some wood. Any kind of wood, it does not matter." He dismissed the class. He began to walk away, towards the river. He stopped and turned around, "Ah! This is not a safe place. There are monsters in the woods, be on your guard." He looked to Sarina, "Sarina, if you would join me." He walked over to the river and sat down on a log, picking up one of the wooden fishing poles on the ground, and cast out his line. He leaned to Sarina, "So, what do you think of the children this year?"
Ineko Irandi - Period 5, Survival
Ineko looked at the dirt he was standing on. The Professor said that this was not a safe place, and that 'monsters' roamed the forests. He looked towards the treeline. He could only assume that 'monsters' meant Grimm. Ineko leaned forwards a little and the six drones on his back flew out, hovering in front of him. Ineko mumbled an order in an alien language and the six drones flew up to gain altitude, then out to scout the forest from above. Ineko walked to his fellow classmates, "The Professor suggests that there are Grimm in the forest, despite our relatively easy task, I still think we should group up into small teams. To watch each others backs. Also... Does anyone know how to make a good campfire?" Ineko asked the group of students.

@Skyrte Love the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. influence xD
You guys move fast... Anyway what is new?
Everyone is now in 5th Period, Survival/Practice/PE. Drama happened back in 4th Period, in Armory, where people argued and almost came to blows. From my understanding, Grimm Studies was pretty calm, all they did was 1v1 me bro against certain Grimms. I'm not exactly sure what Practice and PE are doing, but Survival students are hopping through a window and into a portal to a river. My summery of the IC is not that good.
<Snipped quote by Skyrte> http://www.roleplayerguild.com/posts/2448166 Do I need to double post? o_O
Oh, whoops. I was looking for Survival in the headers, sorry!
I like it too. Top grooves
