" ... Inquisitor Zhevon, watch out!"
Zhevon turned and saw a rogue Arbite execute the officer next to him. Then he turned his pistols to Zhevon, who sidestepped to cover Echo Nurien with his own body. Once the lead from the rogue Arbite started flying, Zhevons rosarius flashed to life, converting the kinetic energy of the bullets into light. Zhevon's heads up display flicked to life, displaying a flood of information, including the amount of energy he had remaining in his rosarius. While it had a quick recharge rate, the two pistols from the rogue Arbite working together had a faster fire rate. Soon, the shields died down and three bullets smacked into Zhevon before the rogue Arbite had to reload. The first hit his shoulder, where the distinct sound of a bullet impacting with metal armor was heard. The lights of Zhevons armor glowed brighter. The second went into his backpack, making a ping sound as it hit a metal object. The third went into his left lower thigh, impacting with a thud. Zhevon grunted and crouched slightly. The bullet fell to the ground, while Zhevons eyes glowed even brighter. The robes where the bullets had hit also glowed lightly for a second, before going back to their neutral red color.

Before the rogue Arbite could reload, and before Zhevon could react, Echo grabbed him and pulled. Zhevon went with the pulling and ducked behind Echo and his shield just in time to avoid another fusillade of bullets. "Stay down!" Echo yelled over the gunfire and rioters, "Sic em!" Zhevon looked over to Echos Mastiff, darting forward with impressive speed. After hearing screams, Echo advanced, with Zhevon close behind him. Upon reaching the fallen attacker, Echo striked him in the torso with the edge of his shield. "What do you want to do with this one Sir?"
"Keep him stunned for now." Zhevon crouched and began to search the presumed unconscious rogue Arbite. The rogue Arbite reacted by suddenly punching Zhevon right between the eyes, the force of the punch coupled with the surprise made Zhevon stumble back. Zhevon found himself lying on his back. In response, Zhevon kicked the Arbite in the head as soon as his back made contact with the concrete ground. Adrianne would then appear from thin air.

"What happened here?!" She looked at both Zhevon and Echo, "Inquisitor, are you alright?!"
"I'm fine, I might wake up with a nasty welt on my left thigh, but that is the extent of my injuries." He reported as he got back up, "Let's give him another shock." Once Echo had done so, Zhevon crouched once more and began to search the now unconscious assassin again. He began to pull apart his Arbite clothing to investigate what damage Echos shield strike did, but instead found that he was wearing an undershirt. Zhevon had an inkling of what was going on, he let out a quiet, "Ooohhhhh..." As he revealed more of the under shirt, the trio saw wires and grenades, mining explosives of every kind, rigged as an explosive vest. "Yep time to go!" Zhevon exclaimed, quickly getting up and shooing Echo and Adrianne away. He muttered curses under his breath as they began to run from the body, he quickly glanced at Echo and his Mastiff, deciding that both would be fine. The Mastiff was made of metal and Echo had his shield. Then he looked at Adrianne, who was noticeably not wielding a shield.

Getting a feeling in his gut, Zhevon yelled "Down!". He placed himself between the bomb and Adrianne to ensure that she would be unharmed, crouching. Then there was a thunderous crack as the bomb vest went off. Even while Braced, Zhevon staggered a bit. "Must have been low explosive. You two okay?" He asked, small bits of concrete and rock rained down, "Celestian Niskaru, let's get the Valkyrie landed."

Here's a good two and a half hours of music if anyone needs it to post or something.
It is decided, Rithy will find the thing.

Now find the thing rithy.
As the team moved on towards the basement entrance, Zhevon entered a side room. While still aflame, he was confident his built in respirator and robes would keep him safe from the heat and smoke. He reached a few cogitators, likely used for accounting and messages. He opened them and quickly grabbed their datachips, some damaged, others fine. He hoped that Alpha would be able to gather some data from these chips. He then heard a new voice.
"Zhevon Amoxa, of the Ordo Malleus? Echo Nurian Reporting"
Zhevon stepped out of the side room, patting out some cinders that had gathered on his robes. There stood an Arbite, handing out some transfer papers. Zhevon took the papers and looked down at them, examining them. He rose an eyebrow, looking up at the Arbite, then at the papers. Then at his Mastiff behind him. Again at the papers. He tilted his head backwards and scratched it, the papers were official, legitimate. Yet he had not requested this Echo Nurian in his retinue. Did he? He folded the papers and handed it back to Echo.
"Arbite Nurian, I don't recall requesting you into my retinue." He cautiously said, "There must have been a mistake... Anyways, since you're already here, I might as well keep you." He decided, "Be wary, the Ordo Malleus is not for the feint of heart. We will face unimaginable creatures every hour of the day. And every other hour we will be running from unthinkable horrors every other hour." He explained, his voice grim and serious, "But for now we are walking through a flaming building searching for any bit of evidence that would aid us in the hunt against Heresy." He explained, his voice reverting back to its normal tone, "We would be glad to have you join us. And know that because of this mistake of assignment, you will have the choice to leave my retinue at any time you see fit... However. You will never truly leave my service. That is something you cannot have a say in, yet."
I think I actually don't have much to post on, so let's have someone find the thing.
Once the briefing was complete, Galen leaned back onto the couch. It sounded like a fairly standard mission, with the inclusion of enemy armored units. I know how to kill armored units, he thought. Well, the ones back then, they may have changed since his training. He made a mental note to study these newer model of Fallen Walkers, probably in the field. He raised his eyebrows and sighed lightly, three hours with these strangers.

"Hey...um..." A voice spoke up, robotic in nature. He could hear the slight distortion at the end of every word, "You sure you want to use a Khvostov here? I'm sure Nova has a better weapon stashed away somewhere on this ship."
Galen looked over to the Guardian who addressed him and saw him doing some maintenance on a very impressive looking firearm. Aiden-12, he overheard him introduce himself. A very strange name for a person, he thought to himself. The Guardian finished the maintenance and holstered the rifle, pulling out another impressive gun, a handgun this time to do its maintenance. Galen rubbed the back of his neck, wondering when he would get weapons as spectacular as that.
"After all, if these fallen are really enough trouble to warrant the Speaker sending a squad this large after them, there's definitely reason to be well-equipped." He finished. Galen looked around and did a mental headcount. This is a large squad? He thought to himself, it was a fairly standard squad to him. Perhaps Guardians usually worked in fireteam sizes?

Another Guardian introduced himself. Spectre, a common callsign. He noted a few things he had done in previous missions. The Vault of Glass, The Death of Crota. Atheon and Skolas. And even the elimination of The House of Wolves. An entire House of Fallen he assumed. These Fallen must be separated on a House-system. All of these names were foreign to him, but they sounded like they were serious business. Spectre took off his helmet and offered a game of Poker. Kazik, the Fallen assigned to their squad spoke up next. As he was speaking, his eyes fell on Galen for a few seconds. Galen stared back, but rather more fascinated with Kaziks four arms. And then with his technology when he activated his Void shields. Others introduced themselves and joined in the game of gambling. Galen was never one for gambling, and he didn't have these strange coins that everyone else had anyways. He then remembered that he hadn't introduced himself yet.

"Oh right..." He began quietly, "I'm uh, Spec-4 Galen Vassar. I was an Anti-Armor trooper in my platoon, before I died." He introduced himself, wondering if any in his company had revived as Guardians, "And I uh, actually don't have better weapons than this." He shrugged, turning to Aiden-12, "If there is a better gun stowed away on this ship, I'd really appreciate it."
Alright! So our piece of intel will be a fairly large medallion sort of thing, a metal disk with the symbol of Slannesh on it. On the orb of the symbol is a large eyeball that looks around and stuff.

Whoever finds it, finds it.

Shoulda told you guys yesterday
Feeling nauseous.

Not posting tonight, but was supposed to. Will get it done tomorrow hopefully.
Was supposed to get a post up but I'm feeling nauseous for some reason, sorry for keeping anyone waiting. I'll get that post up tomorrow night hopefully.
My last line is mentioning that a group of additional Arbites are showing up to investigate the car bomb, you could be rolling with them.
