"Not just the trees! I want to know about the grass too, and the hedges, the moss." She exclaimed, "But the trees first. What are their leaves like? How hard is the bark? How old are those trees? What do they smell like?" She hammered out these questions like a machine gun, when she felt a slight drop in temperature. It was an unnatural drop, no breeze or air conditioning, she was familiar with it. The Wizard she traveled with before primarily used Ice Magic, time after time she felt warm tropical air turn into the sort of temperature felt near the arctic. The sudden drop in temperature didn't bother her that much, as she was wearing thick clothing. She glanced to Loki, who wasn't wearing as much as her but he seemed unfazed.

"Hello, I'm Nort...I'm new here. Tell me, where should I head to figure out my daily schedule?" The tall purple wearing man asked. Although it erred more on the side of a demand. Nort's posture was subtle, but it gave an air of creepiness.
"Currently we are all waiting to be called over for a test before progressing." Loki replied in a manner resembling Norts request. Was it a challenge? Loki showing that he would not cower at the presence of Nort? Either way, one of them might take offense to the other. Soph had no intention of getting into a conflict this early into the year.
"So... I need to use the restroom." She awkwardly stated, slowly slipping away. "Cya later Loki." She rose two fingers towards him, making a V with her index and middle finger, before quickly disappearing. She ended up not finding the restrooms in any quick manner, and continued to wander, looking for them.

The tall man was slightly taken aback at Sophons sudden appearance, he managed to blurt out a "L-London, I'm from London. It's err..." He trailed off. "Say, where you from Loki?"
After a short pause, he spoke up quietly, "Brazil originally."
Sophon stared blankly for a second, she wondered where Brazil and London were. Appalled at her own lack of knowledge, she noted that she would have to study up on geography. The tall one spoke up once more, this time in introduction. "Name's Atticus. What's your's?"
"Oh! Yes, my name is Sophon." She introduced herself, giving a little bow, finally remembering her manners now that she's calmed down. Then Atticus' name was called up into the test room. As he left he said good luck to them on their own tests. She waved him bye, then lightly slapped cheek and sighed. "Didn't get those trees." She muttered, then she turned to Loki, "Loki right? We can leave our stuff on the floor right?" She asked before taking off her large hiking backpack, she dropped it on the floor where it hit the floor with a resounding thud. Far heavier than a normal backpack should be. It was like there were weights added to the pack. Which there were.
The whole campus amazed her. Stoneworks only masters of the masters would have been able to chisel, trees of unknown species, short trimmed grass, dense hedges. Most of the other students were taller than her, making it difficulty to properly observe her surroundings, but she caught glimpses. She wondered how long it took to fashion the stone benches she saw outside, let alone making the ground so smooth, and the grand staircase. Perhaps it took generations, master masons passing down the work to their successors. She wished she could see the construction effort, untold wealth must have been spent on the school. Once the mass of students had shuffled their way into the Main Hall, Sophon taking special care of her large hiking backpack. Most of the other students had backpacks of their own, some had duffel bags, various forms of luggage. The students wore a great variety of clothing, some had jackets, others only shirts. For Sophon, she wore a black pull over hoodie, stitched with navy blue, forming a diamond pattern over her torso. The left sleeve pinned up against her shoulder, and her right sleeve pulled up slightly, revealing the slightest bit of skin. Over her right hand was a light grey leather glove, her left hand noticeably missing along with half her left arm. Tied around her neck was a white and black patterned shemagh, with a white hairband over her hair. She wore navy blue military BDU pants, with black kneepads strapped over her knees. Her feet were covered by black steel toed combat boots, with the pant legs tucked into the boots. Her right boot had a knife holster, with a knife strapped to it. She then heard a loud voice.

"Attention, all new students. Your attention, please. We would like to welcome all of you to Magicana High School. In case anyone has not already heard the instructions, we will be starting our beginning tests shortly. When your name is called, please report to room A, B, or C as instructed. We will be performing an anticipation test for your potential here in both ability and likely future as well as a brief health examination to make sure that all students are fit to participate in the school's activities. We will be conducting a blood test as part of this examination, so please let us know if there are any concerns before we begin. Please leave all belongings in the main hall when you are called. We assure you that all items will be perfectly safe and shall be transported to your lodging following the examinations. Thank you, and please listen carefully for your name to be called."

After that she tuned out. She was more interested in something else, she saw a tall fellow with a head of striking blue hair. More importantly, he was tall. She shuffled her way past students and made her way towards the tall man. Once she appeared in the tall mans vision, she pointed at him with her right arm. "You! You're tall! Can you tell me what the trees are like?" She asked excitedly, after closely looking at him, she spoke up again, "Wow, you are really tall." She concluded looking up at his face, she began to examine him, looking over his entire body. "Where I come from people aren't as tall as you, where do you come from?" She questioned with a face of wonder.

As Adrianne explained the educational system of Sanctioned Psykers and the permanency of psychic powers, Zhevon frowned. Confirming his fears that him being accepted into an institution would be highly unlikely. He had heard of thousands of fledgling Psykers, not suitable for education and training, sacrificed to The Emperor to keep him alive. A fate he did not wish on anyone under his service. She then explained that it was possible for her to take him under her wing as an apprentice, which was good news. She then expanded on the revelations of having the abilities of a Psyker. While Zhevon was sure that Stukov was mentally strong, having proven himself by walking through the nest of St. Ives Statues, it wouldn't hurt to make sure that he was fine.
It was Avizas turn to speak then. She spoke about her own experiences with newly discovered Psykers. Them going insane, or becoming unstable to the point of violent detonation. Zhevon rubbed his chin, he had never put much thought into the things they were discussing at the dinner table. Usually 'that daemon used to be a Psyker' was enough information for him.

Adrianne then spoke up, saying that it would likely be best that she speak to Stukov alone at first. Zhevon nodded in approval, taken out of his train of thought.
"Eight hours then." He said, "I don't really know what to do either." Usually when he had this amount of time, he would nap, maybe train. "Hm. Since our resident Armsman is potentially a Psyker, I suppose he would potentially need a staff. I doubt he would like carrying around a staff-sized staff..." He put some thought into it, "Perhaps a... Tonfa? It was called?"
will be posting tomorrow for sure
hmm
laziness is getting the better of me

Maybe I'll wait for Adrianne and Stukov to have their conversation, then we can proceed as a group to do stuff
