I really don't know very much about 40K. Can I join as a xeno?

Depends on what kinda Xeno.
@Skyrte

Since no-ones bothered replying, should I just assume everyone's cool with it and hop in when you give the signal?

uhh, yeah sure.
Zhevon stayed silent for a second before speaking up, "So. Zhevon huh?" He brushed the side of his gas mask. "I know the guy is dumb, but he wouldn't be so stupid as to send a new acolyte on a mission like this. He has his own spies for that." He explained. Now, how did she end up here? He never recalled sending anyone new to a solo mission, much less a solo spy mission. Solo spy mission were extremely dangerous, with no support or backup, things could quickly go south. Typically a spy had numerous people at his or her back, feeding the operative information on the go, or as an extra pair of hands to set up an encounter. Zhevon would have to go over his logs and cross check with a secretary or two to find out what happened. Later though, they had bigger problems. Most notably the guns that would be pointing in their direction.

His comm buzzed to life, "Uh, this is Adrianne. I think some of the guests are vacating to some tunnels beneath the mansion. Some kind of hidden entrance or something. Should I investigate?"
Zhevon looked at the wounded Cath laying next to him, "Negative, but note the location and time. We'll come back to investigate later. For now we focus on getting out of here."
Ah, okay
Well I'm pretty busy until probably tomorrow night, or Friday night.

Sorry Rivaan, you're getting the shitty end of the stick
Bump
So uhh
When are you gonna get that collab post up andro
Gonna get my sheet up soon, hopefully more people join.
I'll be waiting until tomorrow night to give Rithy/Andro/Rainbow a chance to post.

You step into the room.

It's strange. You're used to dirt under your feet, or at least wood. Maybe stone if you're lucky. But all of this is sleek metal. The lights flicker on when they detect you moving into the room, revealing racks upon racks of various firearms. Lit up tables with heavy weapons resting on their shoulders. Crates of ammunition, explosives, and various other weapons lay on shelves.
You hear the distant whir of automated machinery turning on and getting to work, manufacturing something valued as much as gold out in the wasteland. Military grade bullets. It wasn't uncommon to see military bullets being used as currency. There were even instances of people refusing to use their military grade bullets, and dying of a result. You hear a meek female voice speak up from an intercom mounted on a wall, "I hope the armory is adequate... I just started up the factory, but we are still below nominal levels... Oh this must be so disappointing..."
You stay silent for now, but this will do. The armory will do nicely.
