Domain (Portfolio) Description: Metalsmithing, encompasses all smithing. From Arrowsmithing to Coinsmithing. However at his birth he will only know the general kinds of smithing. Blacksmithing, Whitesmithing, Brownsmithing, etc. As he becomes more skilled in his art, he will begin to master other more specialized forms, such as bladesmithing, weaponsmithing, locksmithing, to name a few. However, he will not have any powers over the domain of mining or metals themselves, so in order to craft a hammer or a sword, he will have to mine the ore, refine it, and form the ingot himself in order to use it..
Alignment: Neutral Good > Passively Good. “A Neutral Good character will usually comply with laws if doing so benefits the greater good, but rebel against those they consider unjust or which conflict with the greater good.” Passively Good is a variation of Neutral Good. Tetra would lead a fairly normal life, not doing anything outstanding unless required. To him good is a moral obligation, he will help whomever he comes across although it is unlikely that he will go out and seek to do good. He is much more likely to help the family with the broken wheel on the side of the road, then go home and resume his normal life.
Personality: At his birth he will be much like a very intelligent child. Concepts of death, life, the self, will be foreign to him. Although he will learn these ideas himself fairly quickly and make judgements of them by himself. He will be naive with a childlike innocence, the experiences in his life will shape his personality more than anything. His core personality however is timid and reclusive. He enjoys the inside but also appreciates the outside. He is good at heart and will help whenever needed, because it’s the right thing to do. He’s also naturally curious. He will ask questions, some easy, like why is the sky blue? Or why are these trees so large? Others are not so easy, such as, what is the self? What comprises it? To answer these questions he will ask, research, observe and study. When he receives an answer from another, he will consider their answer, and then come to his own conclusion with his own study.
His mind is that of an apathetic one, he cannot empathize very well, but he can imagine very well. He doesn’t feel the pain of a family losing a loved one, but he can understand that it is a very traumatic and saddening event. Expanding on his imagination and creativity, his ability to imagine complex engineering and smithing is immense. His willingness to learn and his skill in his art also will allow him to create some very impressive things. Although he is not very good at theoretical science, alone he is unlikely to advance the world technologically and scientifically very quickly unless he learns how to understand theoretical science. He is very good in applied science. In other words, he’ll make a really damn good crossbow, but the idea of making a gun will come to him very slowly. The only reason why it would come to him at all is because he is a naturally curious person and will pursue in learning how to make a gun, if not for that the idea would never come to him. He understands this and it will cause him great frustration sometimes, but because of it he will be very open minded and eager to learn whatever he can from others.
Appearance: Tetra is very unimpressive character at first. He will be a featureless, bipedal form in the image of a man. Of athletic build, not particularly skinny, nor bulky. Two hands, two feet, ten fingers and toes. Nothing out of the ordinary. He will have no face, no ears, no hair, his head will essentially be completely featureless. There is no particular form he will take in any particular situation, this featureless masculine rock form is the only form he will take unless in an extremely dire situation.
At his beginning, Tetra’s body will be 100% comprised of regular brown rock. If his body is damaged, he is capable of filling the damages with dirt or rock, and fix himself. Through this he will be able to gradually replace his entire body into a different composition.
Other appearances, such as smell, clothing, etc depend on his actions in the world. For example, he may become curious about hair, and notice he has none. In response he may grab some dirt and grass and put it on his head, giving him a full head of ‘hair’.
Musical Theme: ThemeDescription: Tetra, the Demigod of Smiths. He is not a very loud, outgoing person. He is quiet and likes the indoors. He will often yearn to return to his home to work on his own devices and socialize with his neighbors when away. He gives the aura of a mysterious and unsettling creature, because of his featureless body it is difficult to determine what he is feeling if he’s stationary, or if he’s actually looking at something. He believes in the saying, ‘stranger danger’, he’s fairly wary of newcomers coming to him. Expecting that they want something in particular. Although it won’t take much to befriend the Demigod.
Once he begins to move, whether it be forging a blade or strolling the farms it’s easy to see that Tetra is a caring and gentle being. He will be gentle with his creations, carefully examining them and painstakingly working them to perfection. Outside he will take extra care to not step on any bugs that may be walking on the path, and his head of often pointed towards trees or the sky, or endless green fields. He will be friendly and polite to anyone he comes by. His origin as a Demigod does not cause him to think himself above mortals. This is what he is most often, he will only stroll around places he knows of, very rarely will he explore.
When threatened or in times of war, Tetra’s aura returns to that of a mysterious and unsettling creature. His neutral demeanor to strangers is cast aside, his friendly demeanor to friends and neighbors is thrown out the window. Tetra’s will to protect those around him rivals that of the strongest shield and sword. His immaturity and unfamiliarity with self control when faced with extreme emotion, if unchecked will direct him towards savagery and downright evil acts, driven by a singular goal, to protect his own. After any acts done in anger, he will become extremely saddened and ashamed by his own actions, justifying them as necessary but saddened none the less. It is best that someone acts as his guide in times of unrest.
