Not my own words, but: "Enjoy memes and have a good time online, but develop a solid sense of self-worth that is rooted in a reality that doesn't disappear when the battery charge is empty."

@The NarratorGotcha. I'll be thinking about my sheet in the meantime. I understand this is low-fantasy, so are all the tribes' totems, fetishes, shamanic beliefs and so on open to interpretation and not actually magical?
A primitive NRP sounds super cool, and a breath of fresh air from all the other offerings.
Just how big of a territory does the scope of the RP encompass? Are our tribes culturally/ethnically related or is that at player discretion?
How many people are involved with the RP now? Because it's Discord-based, are there nation sheets to fill out for reference? And how do posts work? Discord does have character limits, and is more suited to rapid, small messages than the scale you typically see in posts here.
@AmbraGotcha. & That's alright; I was leaning towards a mundane character. I'm still undecided on what sort of individual to play, though. Is everyone that has a post in the character tab still active?
I saw the recent IntCheck post for this and thought I'd poke my head in. I'm getting Dragon Age vibes from the setting, mostly where mages are concerned.
I do have a question, though - it's stated that "Without tomes, a mage is just as useful as an archer without a bow or a soldier without his blade." What if someone is born with the aptitude, but never in his/her life handles a tome? Would they, or anyone else, even know about their abilities? If Richard is born with magical aptitude, but happens to be the son of a poor peasant and spends his days plowing fields, is none the wiser?
Oh, she exists solely as a scapegoat?
Gotcha; so there's a duality dynamic to their belief. But that said, why would anyone acknowledge the 'evil' goddess at all? Why not just revere the 'good' one? Unless it's not so much 'evil,' as it is sith-like passion.
I should mention that Gareth isn't out to further his name through selfish means. It's more like: "I don't like what my family has become, I want it to represent something else and actually benefit the world while doing it."

"A foreigner! He probably means to capture or kill you and destabilize the Empire in preparation for invasion. I don't trust him, Your Highness."
- Knight Captain Osanne, or something.
@Not FishingMy dude Elodan is just after the stories to be heard and retold.

How does he plan on convincing the emperor himself to take him along?
Ah, fair enough!

I guess I'll extend the religion/cosmology question to @SanaChan.
