Boy, Brazil has some crazy folklore tales. I'll list a few here.
Boitatá: a snake made of fire that protects nature and the animals from deforestation.
Pink River Dolphin: a river dolphin that disguises himself as a handsome man and seduces single women and impregnates them. The next morning they turn back into a dolphin and flee back to the river.
Dry Corpse: men that in life were so hateful that even God, the Devil and the ground where they're buried rejected them, forcing them to live on and haunt travelers.
They're very summarized since I myself never looked into folklore very deeply. Tbh I didn't know about that dry corpse one. Pretty grim imo.
