^_^ Thanks man!
Yeah I was thinking something similar to that, maybe they run in while he's in town wreaking havoc with his buddies? Though the "meeting on the road idea" is pretty cool as well.
####**Name:** Fionn Macgorm ####**Age:** 16 ####**Village:** Oberur (A village famous for its alcohol and distilled goods, it is located in a more southern location) ####**Appearance:** Fionn is a tall but skinny man. He stands at 6'2 with long limbs and a strong bone structure. His skin is a sort of light olive that tans in the summer. His hair is chin length with a dark auburn colour to it. Despite his somewhat lanky appearance his strength is quite considerable, being one of his merits. He has an old battered woollen coat which he is seen wearing the majority of the time, it being one of the few things left over after his parents death. ####**Bio:** Fionn's parents were murdered by bandits whilst they were travelling with him by carriage to do trade in Oberur. They had been travelling merchants their whole lives and had intended for Fionn to be raised into the trade as well, little did they know fate had much different plans for the boy. After being found in the back of the cart by the bandits they discussed what his fate should be, spending nearly an hour arguing amongst themselves before coming to a decision. The boy would be useful as extra help with labour, and maybe someday as a bandit himself. This was his life for a few years as he stayed with the outlaws in their hideout just outside of the town he was born in. As he grew older his responsibilities grew too. Now helping the bandits to collect their rightfully earned "protection money" from the oh so greedy shopkeepers in town. ####**Personality:** Fionn is comedy relief personified, always willing to crack a joke even if at the expense of others. He is good at working with others but only when necessary, preferring to be his own leader rather than to be lead. He is quite intelligent despite his upbringing, being able to come up with plans and strategies on his feet. However due to his upbringing he is not the most academically smart, having very little knowledge of things beyond his bubble at grasp. In a tense situation Fionn can be brash and bold at the worst, or calm and calculating at the best. He feels compassion for others but just doesn't know what is and isn't socially acceptable. This, naturally, brings about awkward situations. He often feels guilt for his actions but is very bad at articulating the way he truly feels about things, feeling it easier to simply laugh his problems away even if they eat away at him. You could describe his personality as "Annoying but charming". ####**Other:** Fionn is missing his left ear, it was lobbed off sloppily in a fight. He is also somewhat of an Alcoholic, willing to down anything fermented on contact.
"Fine fine, I shall refrain from dirty and unethical thoughts my ghostly companion." Jackson would say to the man of smoke that stood next to him now. "So, we must search for humans now, yes?" He asked before taking in an unnaturally long breath, showing yet more of his trouble with adjusting to this world.
"We should start our search as soon as possible, where do you think Humans would be in a situation like this?" He asked Mytch before placing his hand to his chin in thought like some sort of over-expressive actor. "Hmm, police stations and Hospitals still exist, correct? If so then we should check one of them with utmost urgency!"
(Shit post, I know. I've been super freaking busy so I don't have time for anything more than this)
*Laughs maniacally at things others know not*
This can have strange effects on energy sensing spirits, causing them to feel somewhat empty when journeying to the human realm (That is, of course, until they find a wall socket and stick their fingers into it).
The third and final difference is only really detectable by "Jackson". The reason for this is that the Darkness itself in the Human world is a tad bit different from the Darkness in the Spirit Realm, and 'Jackson" once insulted Human world darkness, it doesn't like him anymore and refuses to even speak to him at the annual Darkness dinner party and mixer.
Jackson sighed as he walked forward and awaited Mytch's arrival, taking a long breathe and filling his lungs with Human air. He almost wanted to hold his breathe after doing so, for the taste of smog and gasoline that filled the impure Earthen air was enough to disgust even a creature of pollution.
"Jackson" would smile curtly as he stepped through the overly glossy portal to the human realm. It had been a little while since the last time he'd been to that side of the universe so it took the man of darkness a few moments to adjust before he transformed fully into his "Human" form.
At this point, I, your continually employed narrator must mention a few things you might not notice unless you were a creature akin to "Jackson". The first is that the spirit world and Human world have somewhat different gravitational rules. On Earth gravity is a constant that must be obeyed, whereas in the spirit realm it is but a guideline you can choose to follow if you so choose too. This has lead to some awkward moments such as the last time "Jackson" visited Earth, wherein he left the portal, took a step forward, and fell straight onto his face. The second is that there is a different sort of atmospheric feel to the Human realm which is likely caused by the relative lack of magic. (Continued in second post)
I feel bad for Mytch having to team up with Jackson
"Or do we?" Jackson would ask with a stupid grin plastered on his face in response to "Sandy's" statement on travel. "I mean, for all you know I could have hit my head and lost my memory the last time you sent me out on one of your "errands."" He said with the smirk still firmly in place upon his devious face.
A moment later "Jackson" would chuckle to himself softly, laughing at his humor before melting into the floor like a high speed black ice statue. He would rise out of the floor but a moment later on the stair case to the basement wherein he would motion for the others to enter. "Après vous!"
The man in black walked down the steps a second after his stupid joke. He let yet another vile chuckle out as he descended to the portal. Now of course "Jackson" could simply just teleport to the portal like he had all those other times, but if he could inconvenience those he hated even a little bit than any action was worth it.
"So we all leave our comfortable places in this little spirit realm to go back to the Human world because Mr. Sandman screwed up his spell. glorious." The shadow spirit would say before yawning and walking forward, Now at this point I must mention the way Jackson walks in his true form (As it is my job as a narrator to do so). It is a strange strange sight to behold a being of shadow walking forward, to the point that even though movement is gained through bipedal motion it appears as if the creature is crawling upon your eyes rather than truly walking.
"So how will we getting to the Human world today, hmm? Shall we all go buy our overnight train tickets and wait at platform Nine and Three Quarters?" He asked before apparating a Train Ticket made of shadow out of thin air. He waved the prop ticket in front of his face a few times as if trying to make a point.
