Adrian was about to reply when she disappeared to go grab some stuff he suspected, probably the stuff for stitches. A shiver ran down his spine, thinking of how many times she would have to stick the needle in his skin. His claws slid out, nervously kneading whatever was beneath his feet. He knew he would need to shift, it would be easier on her and him if he was able to. His fur would get in the way of the stitches. While she was gone, he turned his thoughts inward.
He took into account what James had told him a few days past, focusing on Enna, pushing aside any other thoughts that tried to invade his mind. It was a large struggle, and took longer then it had the first time. He finally reached the point that he was capable of shifting, his lips pulling back in pain as his body went through the process. His breathing was slightly ragged afterwards, but he managed to succeed.
When he looked up again, Enna was approaching him. He noticed the twins leaving the room at the same time, but he didn't think too much on it. He said softly," in one moment." He stood up, bringing her into a hug, a soft purr rumbling in his throat," don't worry yourself, I've had worse. I would gladly go through it again to protect you. I didn't even feel it until I almost got here." He pressed his lips softly into her head before gently releasing her and stepping back, sitting back down on the bed. He gently worked at removing the shirt that now covered his chest so she could have full access to him. He released a pent up breath l, his muscles highly visible, showing clearly the tension in his body. His eyes kept on flicking to the needle in her hand, his nose slightly flared.
