Black calligraphy ink has left near permanent stains across his pale hands and wrists, but he's found that he rather likes that as for him, it's a sign that he's worked hard enough to earn his keep at a job that he more or less inherited after the man that took him in from the streets had passed. Like most men from Hua'mu, he wears his hair long, and tied back away from his face. It accentuates perhaps his more feminine features, but he's found that he enjoys his appearance. He was sent to a red-light district, and she was sent to become a geisha in training. ➽➽➽ He was raised in a red-light district that specialized in both male and female entertainers, and he was a popular entertainer after coming of age. ➽➽➽ His love of poetry and calligraphy came from the many men that courted him and paid for his company. After he was released from his contract after being injured, he sought out a profession where he could be around the things that he loved most. ➽➽➽ He walks with a slight limp from his injury during a practice for a dance. He fell, and was unable to continue performing. ➽➽➽ In his personal room, he still has the trinkets and gifts given to him in his time that he worked as a courtesan. в í σ g r α p h ч ▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔ [+] Sen and his family were once high ranking nobles in southern Hua'mu. Though, after the death of his mother who always held the purse strings, his mother went out and squandered their fortune in illegal gambling where he racked up far more debt than he could ever hope to pay for on his own. The man decided then and there that his children would pay his debt for him, but perhaps not in the way that people would expect. Rather than force the spoiled children into a demanding, laboring job, he instead, sold them to people who had less than pure intentions. His sister, was sent away to a home where they trained young geisha. While he, was sent to a red-light district and trained to be an entertainer. There, they trained both young boys and girls to entertain the guests that came to stay. They weren't considered prostitutes as they did more than sell sex, and there was a ceremony before they could even take clients in that way. Sen was trained to be a pretty face and listen and perform for guests that came for strong liquor and beautiful people that took care of them. He thrived under this. He learned to write poetry- which was greatly enjoyed by the male guests that came to talk to him while he was still an apprentice. Sen had never forgotten his sister, though. He missed the girl dearly, and wished that he could one day reunite with her again. Not too long after coming of age to take clients, Sen broke his ankle during a practice for a performance. It took a long time to heal properly, and the owner of the tavern decided that it would be for the best if they ended his contract. Sen was devastated that he'd lost something that he had enjoyed so greatly, but he was happy at the same time that he wouldn't be forced to sell his body for the rest of his life. A kind client who had frequented his shows had found him wandering the streets the next day, and helped him regain his footing. He taught Sen about the rest of the world and some of their customs which enthralled him greatly. He divulged the fact that he was a historian that had worked with the current knowledge keeper of Hua'mu's royal family. Sen had heard about the Cha family that ruled over Hua'mu for the last several decades, but being of such low position as he was had never had a chance to interact with any of them. Once he was able to walk on his own and take care of himself, Sen left the company of the man that had given him such hospitality in search of the knowledge keeper that he'd been told of. At first, he was turned away. The man seemed very unwilling to take on an apprentice, but Sen persisted, and finally, he gave in to the young, disheveled teenager that wanted more from his life than working as a prostitute. He demanded that Sen leave a piece of literature in exchange for the information he was about to bestow onto him. He stated that he must leave knowledge to receive it, and that stuck with him. He offered up the messy calligraphied poems that he'd written during his training, and he seemed more than pleased by that offering. The work was hard, and oftentimes boring, but he fell into it quickly- finding a knack for retaining information. He still had a limp from having broken his ankle, but he was able to keep up with the aging man as they traveled the world in search of information about other cultures. Having no children of his own, the man took Sen under his wing and taught the boy how to read and write properly. He helped him regain his noble status as well. When Sen turned twenty-three, the man died of old age, and he was left alone in the vast library filled with tomes from across the seven kingdoms. He wasn't sure of what to do after his death as he felt there was still much more to learn. He's spent a great more deal of his life with words, ink, and paper than he has with other humans, and as such his people skills have somewhat deteriorated, but if someone is in need of help to find knowledge, then he will never turn them away. After the man passed, Sen took his surname as he felt much closer to a father figure to Sen then his own father ever did. She and her family have been nothing but kind to me after taking on this role. She often speaks in a soft, low register of her voice which does raise a few octaves if she's truly excited about something. Her build is svelte and betrays the true amount of muscle that she does have as her slender build might not suggest she's able to lift and carry heavy objects without help. Her mother- the queen- and her father- the king- of Estrye were known for making beautiful and talented offspring. She followed after her brother Alois and her sister Cyrus- forever to be lost in the shadow of their greatness as she was the third-born and amounted to very little in the eyes of their father who only sought to procreate and have as many children as he could with his wives and concubines. To make up for the lack of attention as she grew up, Hanne became a trouble maker; she enjoyed stirring the pot and causing fights amongst her siblings as she sat back and watched it all unfold. However, appearances can be deceiving, and Hanne's story is not so picturesque and clear-cut. As a toddler, her older siblings ignored her, and so her only friend was the maid that was ordered to look after her. The maid took her eyes off of the adventurous babe for but a moment, and the beautiful child had fallen into a pond of water and drowned. To make up for her grievous mistake that she would undoubtedly be put to death for, she paid a beggar woman for her child who was very similar to build and appearance of the toddler she had been caring for. The only problem was, this child was a boy rather than a girl. The maid forced the boy to appear as the dead princess- telling them never to speak of their past or something terrible would happen to them. The king and queen never paid attention to many of their children, and so the death of their real child never came to light. Rather than face the wrath of their caretaker, the child kept their mouth shut and their head down. They assumed Hanne's identity and fell into it easily. She didn't mind being referred to as a woman, and actually preferred it over being forced to be masculine. Though, she grew envious of her "older siblings" as she saw that they seemed to look down at the rest of them who had to work harder for everything they had. As angry as it made her, she only strove to work harder to make an impact and potentially gain their father's attention and love. She detests Alois and Cyrus for acting like they're better and for living their lives with silver spoons in their mouths. She apprenticed under an inventor that had immigrated from An'elle after he married the woman that he fell in love with. She was a lesser noble born in the Empire of Hua'mu. The two of them taught Hanne all the tools of the trade that she needed to know, and instilled a love of tinkering that she hadn't known that existed within her before. The girl became one of the best inventors- believing even a failure is a learning experience. Her father grew tired of her wild antics around five years ago, and forced upon her a lady in waiting in hopes that it would quiet the wildness within her. Though it was not to be as Hanne often convinced Willa to go along with her crazy schemes- getting them both into hot water. She's come to see Willa as her best friend and confidant as she believes that she can tell the blueberry girl anything and everything that she needs to say. The past trauma from her days as a toddler has come back in full force as nightmares and night-terrors, but she's not said anything for fear of worrying Willa. Minagi is well trained in martial arts by the best tutors that her father could employ. Her knowledge of the use of polearms is nearly unmatched by those in Hua'mu. She is a diplomat, and prefers to solve disagreements through diplomatic means rather than the use of unnecessary fighting. Words are strong weapons, and she likes to think herself an eloquent person.

「 BIOGRAPHY 」
The first born daughter of the Emperor of Hua'mu, she has been raised with a certain amount of privilege. She's never wanted for anything as her father was willing to grant her her whatever she wanted within reason. From the moment she turned sixteen, he attempted to present her with suitors- thus far, she was able to turn them all away or scare them off by playing pranks on them. She was far more interested in building Hua'mu in her own vision- without the corrupt advisors. She wants to keep their borders open rather than have them remain closed as they've been for the past several hundred years. She wants Hua'mu to catch up with the other nations in terms of technology so that they don't fall too far behind.

The Food Kingdoms all live in harmony. Though, harmony is a delicate balance often put off by the smallest of things. After the last 100 year war, all seven kingdoms came together to create a treaty that outlined clear and concise borders as well as the conditions of their peace.

It has been nearly 100 years since the treaty was signed. They've flourished and created trades with other like-minded kingdoms. While no wars have been fought since the last global war, tensions between some kingdoms has been particularly high.

Amidst all of this, the Empire of 花木 （Hua'Mu) has reached out to the other kingdoms in invitation. As the Emperor's eldest daughter comes of age, she opens up their borders to attend her masquerade party.

➽➽➽ Rulers- The King took his own life. His insanity overruled his mind. His son took the throne in his father's place, and it seemed that the Sweets have cast aside all to do with the Drink Empire. Forging an alliance instead with those that had been their enemies before.
➽➽➽ Climate- A relatively cool place where all those with sweet blood enjoy to live. Temperatures may range from moderate to cold, but it is never warm here to protect those who melt from melting.

➽➽➽ Extra information- There are rumors in circulation that the only reason that they are as good friends with the Vegetable people is because a noble woman is having relations with a man from said kingdom. It's a scandalous reason, and is causing great tension with the Drinks as they were once allies.

Starch - The Grain Kingdom

➽➽➽ Alliance With- Fruits Kingdom, Drink Empire
➽➽➽ Enemies- An inside militia force attempting to throw out any form of government.
➽➽➽ Traditions- Servants work on plantations for a few years as indentured servants before they're free to become citizens. Taxes are light, and the land distributed has been fair until recently. These are still in place, but ever since the colonyship was introduced, males are required to do three years of military service as well.
➽➽➽ Rulers- The old leader was overthrown, and it is now ruled over by a new king with help from the eldest Fruit Siblings. However, they only help; they do not make decisions without consent of the family they helped put in power.
➽➽➽ Climate- It's relatively dry, but rains enough to keep the crops growing. They experience long, and moderate winters and long, hot summers.
➽➽➽ Armed Forces- After the colonyship, the Fruit Kingdom lent a small number of soldiers to help train them to have a true military force. Men are required to do three years of military service at the age of eighteen. Women may join as well.
➽➽➽ Economy- Still focused on agricultural technology as well as servantdom.
➽➽➽ Specialty- Not applicable at this time.
➽➽➽ Extra information- There has been a push to cement the relationship with the Fruit Kingdom more solid, but no one has acted upon it. They are working on their nation, and trying to rebuild.

Grœnngarðr - The Meat Kingdom

➽➽➽ Traditions- While there exists a patriarchal society at it's core, women do hold a lot of power- especially when it comes to marriage and finances. These people are well known for their skilled raids of unclaimed territories, and while they are not openly hostile toward the other kingdoms because they do not want to breach the treaty, the many tribes do often fight amongst themselves for control. They believe strongly that their most skilled warriors will be treated well in Valhalla- their afterlife.
➽➽➽ Rulers- The tribes of Grœnngarðr fight each other in an everything-goes battle of capture-the-flag every five years for honor of ruling over the other tribes. The first tribe to capture the Royal Standard and bring it to the gate of the castle is declared the winner. It is an honor to die fighting in this tournament, and an even greater honor to win.
➽➽➽ Climate- It changes often as they don't stay in one place for two long. Though, their homeland is frigid.
➽➽➽ Armed Forces- They have no organized military. They think of themselves as their own military force.
➽➽➽ Economy- Most of their money come from raiding and plundering. Though, they do excellent craft work as well.
➽➽➽ Specialty- Smithing. Excellent crafting abilities with any type of metal is their specialty.
➽➽➽ Extra information- They recently came across a strange island called the Isle of Condiments filled with strange people that barely speak the language of the homeland. They claimed the Isle in the name of the Meat Kingdom, but they let it be for the most part- stationing only a few people there to learn more about the people that inhabit it.

Ilepia - The Dairy Kingdom

➽➽➽ Traditions- They are travelers- moving their kingdom from place to place. They have temples built to meditate and worship. Women become oracles and priestesses. Men are not allowed to be priests- only the women are allowed to participate in these ritualistic type behaviors. Often times they are paid large sums by other nations to read into their future.
➽➽➽ Rulers- They are ruled by the Grand Oracle and the priestesses under her.
➽➽➽ Climate- It changes as they travel- as they do not live in one set location.
➽➽➽ Armed Forces- They have no formal military.
➽➽➽ Economy- The money they receive comes from other nations for the future telling and swindling people out of their money with their street performances.

➽➽➽ Extra information- This nation has not been heard of or seen in three years. In their travels, they contracted a disease, and their immune systems were not equipped to handle it. Most of the rumors that have surfaced about their disappearance are accusing different nations of being murderers when it is in fact, no one's fault. (Note: If you would like to play as a member of this nomadic group, as a survivor of this disease, it would make for an interesting character.)

Estrye - The Fruit Kingdom

【 A kingdom of fruity citizens. 】

➽➽➽ Alliance With- Grains Kingdom, The Drink Empire
➽➽➽ Enemies- The Vegetable Kingdom, The Sweet Kingdom
➽➽➽ Traditions- The King is more like a chieftain. He is expected to have many wives and many children. Both men and women tend to wear their hair long, but it is truly just a preference, and not a must.
➽➽➽ Rulers- A chieftain and his harem of wives have ten children. The two eldest are Generals of the military unit, and the others serve as apprentices or masters of some sort of occupation in the kingdom.
➽➽➽ Climate- A temperate climate with short, warm summers and long, cold winters. These people tend to hibernate during the winter and come out and be more productive during the summer and spring.
➽➽➽ Armed Forces- The armed forces make up a large unit of the population. They are a secretive group led by the eldest of the fruit siblings. Men are required to go into military service for a number of years before they decide whether or not to join the military as a career.
➽➽➽ Economy- They team up with the Kingdom of grains to increase their techological advances in agriculture. There is also quite a bit of trade between their allies- tea from the Drinks and a different assortment of grain from the Grains mostly.
➽➽➽ Specialty- They specialize in trade and the import and export of goods.

The Windless Paradise - The Vegetable Kingdom

【 A lush paradise of vegetable denizens. 】

➽➽➽ Enemies- The Drink Empire, The Fruit Kingdom
➽➽➽ Traditions- Many citizens live in tree houses or underground. They would see them as uncivilized, but they are quite the opposite. They are very unabashed- often walking around in little more than just enough clothing to make them decent. They are very unfriendly towards people who are not their own, and they focus heavily on military power.
➽➽➽ Rulers- Ruled by a jury of six people. Three men, three women. The jury makes laws, and gives the order to carry out the punishment. A king has power, but must consult the jury before any rash decisions are made.
➽➽➽ Climate- A lush jungle climate- warm weather and a lot of rain. It is rarely cold here, and if it is, then the citizens will hibernate until the cold is over with.
➽➽➽ Armed Forces- A large military might of specialized warriors that take warfare very seriously.
➽➽➽ Economy- Their economy is based on mining as well as their military might.

➽➽➽ Traditions- Seen as having odd traditions and beliefs of many of the other kingdoms. Martial arts are very emphasized in the youth- even young girls. Meditation is important as well. They often refer to people with honorifics- especially those older than them. They believe in peace, and often try to avoid fighting, but have allies with other kingdoms just in case they need it.
➽➽➽ Rulers- The Cha Clan still have power at this time.
➽➽➽ Climate- A place of moderate temperatures- never too warm, but never too hot either. It tends to be a bit foggy sometimes, and rains often here.
➽➽➽ Armed Forces- The armed forces here are known for their martial arts training and their weapons specialties. It's relatively moderate in size with a focus on small elite teams of people rather than large military might.
➽➽➽ Economy- The economy has focused solely on trade and architecture.
➽➽➽ Specialty- The kingdom is known for it's lovely architecture as well as the skilled artisans. Tensions with their previous allies have soured, and they've been rumored to be competing with the Sweets in terms of technology.
➽➽➽ Extra information- A nation in need of rebuilding- both trust and cities. Rumors of corrupt advisors have been out in the open for some time.
