Well, saying that all Purebloods are old-fashioned and 'secluded' from muggles seems a bit stereotypical. I wouldn't say that all pureblood families are like that.

'With great powers...comes great responsibilities.'

Name: Peter 'Petey' Parker

Codename: Spider-Man

Age: Fifteen. (15)

Abilities/Skills: For the most part, Spider-Man is superhuman in every attribute. His speed is faster than your average car, but it is unknown how far he can really push himself currently. With his new strength, he can bench press 10 tons, while his density, durability, stamina, agility, and general core has been enhanced far past basic human functionality. For better info, go here: http://marvel.wikia.com/Spider-Man_(Peter_Parker)

Equipment/Vehicles: Web-Shooters - Parker's brilliance at physical science allowed him to create web-shooters for use when he became Spider-Man. The twin devices worn on his wrists are able to shoot thin strands of a special "web fluid" at high pressure.

Utility Belt - Spider-Man keeps a utility belt holding web cartridges, spider-tracers, and his signature Spider-Signal.

Personality: Peter was originally shy and subtle in school, but his transformation changed that. Now, he's a wisecracking superhero who loves to taunt and take on challenges and enemies. However, immediately following his Uncle Ben's death, Peter became more mature. He still jokes around a lot, but it's more...cold and calculative, though he can be warm with innocent civilians and others.

Bio: http://marvel.wikia.com/Spider-Man_(Peter_Parker)

"While attending a public exhibition demonstrating the safe handling of nuclear laboratory waste materials, sponsored by the General Techtronics Corporation, then-15-year-old Peter Parker was bitten by a spider that had been irradiated by a particle accelerator used in the demonstration. Making his way home afterwards, Peter discovered he had somehow gained incredible strength, agility, and the ability to cling to walls; spider-like traits that he immediately associated with the spider bite.

Encountering an ad offering a cash prize for staying in the ring for three minutes with a professional wrestler, Peter decided this would be a good way to test his powers. Wearing a mask to avoid potential embarrassment, Peter easily defeated his opponent. A TV producer observed his performance and convinced him to go on television with his 'act.' Designing a costume and some wrist-mounted web-spinners, Peter called himself Spider-Man, becoming an immediate sensation.

Following his first TV appearance, Peter failed to act to stop an escaping thief, claiming that it was not his responsibility to do so. Peter forgot the incident as his fame rose, but one night he returned home to find his Uncle Ben had been murdered. Learning the police had the burglar responsible holed up in a warehouse, Peter easily captured him only to discover it was the same thief he had allowed to escape earlier. Filled with remorse, he realized that when someone has power, he has an obligation to use it responsibly, so he decided to become a superhero."

Ahhh, I see. Thanks for the links...I really should google things more. ^^;
The only thing I could see Artemis using, out of the canon set, is most of the Dark Arts spell, Diffindo, Reducto, WIngardium Leviosa, and a few others.

Also, is Serpensortia only used by Snape, or is it considered a Dark Spell, and therefore in a book somewhere stashed away?
I have a community question that I would like to ask everyone.

Do you think that we should be able to create custom spells, from Dark Arts to just average wizard spells? Nothing crazy, of course, but if we only used cannon spells...it would kind of get old over time, using the same spell over and over. I actually have a small journal with custom spells I think would be cool for Artemis (And anyone he considers 'friends' or 'allies') to eventually learn about, in which one of the more basic ones is explained (But not yet unlocked) in the first page of his book.

Of course, this would be up to the GM as the final answer, but it's worth discussing.

The book intrigued Casimir. It was ancient, giving the indication that it was written many, many years ago by some unknown author. Unknown to him at least. What was most intriguing about the tome was its scratched out title. Now Casimir was really curious, and had half a mind to simply put Artemis to sleep, wipe his mind, and keep the book for himself. But he couldn't do that, particularly to someone who had done him no wrong. "Mind telling me what's on the first page? Reading is something I enjoy doing, particularly when the content has been hidden away as this book would suggest...."

Artemis's crimson gaze immediately glanced at Casimir once he heard the voice, and the Slytherin mentally berated himself for not taking cautionary measures. Regardless of if the older male was Slytherin or not, he was still a stranger, and therefore shouldn't be trusted enough to get comfortable around. However, seeing as the other male was already aware of the book, Artemis untensed his arms and breathed out a small, silent breath.

"...Corda aperire anima Vae librum legendum. Vere enim obscuris, sed non est malum et obscura sunt?" As he read the tongue, twisting, lilting words, the book glowed a sickly green color, obviously reacting to the strange chant, yet not ready to activate.

"I believe that it is Latin in nature."
Alright, just to be sure:

Say that, while everyone is in the city or so, you want to go kill monsters and generally experience exhilarating combat in a game where you can swing swords like a boss. You find a boar after literally a minute after walking into the field. After seeing the boar, you have to wait one post before killing it?

Edit: I guess my question is this: What if I'm the type of guy who likes to create 'tryhard' characters that grinds and quests a lot so that he can become closer to beating the game? Putting a 'stopper' on the exp gain would mess that up a bit.

Jersey's head turned a full 180 degrees as he looked at who had come into the room. Casimir was a bit surprised to see someone actually have the fortitude to walk in here.... unless it was going to be some sort of prank. If it was a prank, then Casimir would show the planners the terror that were his spells. Really though, the guy that just came in didn't look suspicious. He also bore a slytherin emblem, obviously telling he was from the same house as he was."I'm Casimir. Nice meeting you," he said simply.

"It's nice to meet you as well, Casimir." Artemis voice gained a large note of it's usual calm, monotonic drawl as he grew comfortable, now that he was away from the loud, abusive little tykes from before. He reached into his sleeves and grabbed something incredibly tiny, though with a whispered command the item grew, showing that it was a medium-sized chest, bone white with the green and crimson emblem of the Slytherin.

Artemis reached into the trunk and yanked out a book he managed to grab during his brief time away from his parents, in Knockturn Alley. It was a large, leather tome, seemingly dusty and ancient in it's appearance. On the cover, written in old, cursive lettering, was 'Introduction to Da-' While the rest of the words were abruptly destroyed and/or cut off. It was an interesting book, indeed, though most of the pages were magically locked away until the reader fully understood and mastered everything that was on the first page, and even then, the words were confusing, with most of it blurred out until the confusing words were deciphered and understood.

"Hm..." Art began, leaning back and gazing intently into the dusty pages.

Precisely. So at the start, all of our characters will be relatively n00b at saving things, we won't be very well known, ect.

Awesome. Seems like a cool setting for a RP, so you can definitely count me in.

I'm glad to hear it!So once we get 5 people interested, I think I'll set up the OC. How does that sound?

That sounds good. Just to be sure, this is when the heroes FIRST get their powers, and start their superheroing shenanigans?
