Sorry, but declined for a few reasons. For one, there are no interviews. Secondly, your bio is pretty vague, and thirdly, there is no explanation of quite a few things, including why he was taught a military fighting style.
Ah, I see, just what I thought. Thanks.
I'm totally interested. Count me in.

What do you mean 'And based off what your followers believe your power is, is what power you have.'?

If we only have a poltergeist's power, how are we supposed to make them believe we have others?
Well, since Larfleeze dropped then yes, you can create a character. Just be mindful to not copy powers that are already used.

IC may be up tomorrow evening, or after the reserves create characters.
It's basically three or more hyphens in a straight row.

- - - -

Basically that, but without the spaces. Also, edited my character, and it has a question in the 'Mutation' section.
Heuehueh.

Well, I myself am a heterosexual man, so I'll have to say no. Larfleeze, however...

Anyways, my character could be in cahoots with anyone, as long as they're competent.
Down Pink down. ujustjelly

Also, Big S, it would probably help me in the long run if you guys posted your characters there yourself.

"Heh, they're gonna wish that they killed me with that Nazi gas."

"The Basics..."

[- - -]

Name: Paulsen 'Paul' Thomason

Nickname:
Legion. Paul was given this nickname by his mother and father, specifically because of his IQ and thought process. At times, it seems as if multiple people are thinking at once in the teenager's brain, and since Legion means 'multiple' it kind of stuck with the boy.

Age:
18 years of age, senior in high-school. (18 / 12th Grade)

Gender:
Male

Sexuality:
While he has nothing against people of a different sexuality, Paul is strictly heterosexual.
"The Appearance..."

[- - -]

Description of Appearance:
Paul stands at a decent height of 6'1, weighing 197lbs and managing to keep a sharp, semi-muscular figure despite his interests in books and history, as he could often be seen on the track team or at the gym whenever he gets in a funk, either academically or emotionally. His skin is a medium-shade of brown, neither too dark, nor too light, with a chiseled jawline and an angular face. He has dark brown, almost black eyes, which are focused and narrowed most of the time, practically glinting with their bright determination and intelligence, along with an inner humor. His hair is cut really short to his head, while he himself is cleanly shaven, other than the neat, trimmed beard that outlines his jawline and chin. Despite every piece of him signifying that he takes care of himself 24/7, and that he's a neat freak, Paul doesn't really try to keep himself so clean and trim. It happens naturally.

Style:
Paulsen sticks to things that comforts him the most, or at least clothes that doesn't look stupid. His usual 'style' is regular jeans, t-shirts of darker, or white, colors, along with a collared, sleek suit jacket or a sweater vest with a collar. Paul also wears flat converse shoes, whichever ones allows him the ease of mind.

Distinct Markings:
Paul has a few scars along his upper torso, from his childhood, but other than that he's scar-free. He also finds tattoos to be...stupid, as they will wrinkle and shrivel as you grow older.

Likes:
Paul could seem distant, or disgruntled, some of the time, but there are quite a few things that he enjoys in life. For example...

| Peaceful moments by himself. | Hanging out with chill, or cool people. | Writing in different languages, reading, and practicing his penmanship. | Exercise, and jogging/swimming in particular. | Playing many types of video games, action/adventure games in particular. |

Dislikes:
| Loudmouthed idiots that ruins his peaceful time. | Illogical, ridiculous thinking, and people who rush in without a plan, even if it's a small one. | People who gets offended easily. | Anyone who would hurt his family. | People who talks with their mouths open. | People with sticks up their asses. |

Personality:
"Yeah...well...you're inbred. Hah."

Paul has a bit of emotional baggage locked away deep inside of him, mostly due to the things he has gone through in his life. Despite this, he keeps it to himself, managing to maintain his casual, laidback personality even with series of thoughts constantly overriding themselves in his mind and soul. When he was younger, Paul was a loud, antsy boy who always wanted to be the center of attention. Annoying - Hell, obnoxious even. He was disliked...a lot in middle-school, even though all he wanted was the attention he believed that he deserved. It all changed, of course, when he went to high school and realized that being an annoying idiot would get him no friends, and only hatred, dislike, and bullies. He changed for the better, becoming a generally more serious and liked guy because of it.

Paulsen is calm, laidback, and focused, with an over-casing of serious to seal the deal. He's generally quiet unless he feels the need to speak, or if he's spoken to, and even then he formulates words easily, with the same casual tone he keeps with everything. He isn't one to throw his problems or questions onto other people, but if someone wants to confess something to him, be it personal or a general question, he listens with honest ears, and in return, would give you an honest answer.

Honesty and bluntness is another thing. Paul won't lie unless he dislikes you, or doesn't trust you at all. Whenever asked something by people he's completely neutral to, or people he actually likes, Paul responds with the calm bluntness of a rampaging rhino. Whether or not it hurts your feelings, Paul speaks the truth, mostly to help the person asking the questions rather than hurting their feelings and causing drama, another thing that Paul hates with a passion.

Drama is something Paul dislikes, and it's very easy to realize why. Drama creates problems, and unneeded problems are annoying and complicated. While Paul enjoys puzzles or word-games, he attempts to cut the line whenever it crosses to personal and unrelated emotion shit. Some people may think that, since Paul is such a smooth-mouthed male with a sarcastic wit of a silver blade, it would be stupid for him to hate drama. Sure, Paul may enjoy minor quips and jokes, some in which may be offensive to certain people, especially with the language, but he smoothly lays off when he could see the victim getting really, really upset. Unless they're someone he dislikes. Then he makes them suffer.

In general, Paul is a laidback, 'chilled' teenager with a love for knowledge and videogames.

Strengths:
Paul is a very smart individual, managing to maintain a steady 4.0 throughout his highschool life, only dropping down to a 3.7 one year due to a very rocky time in 9th grade. He's also very mature, and despite the sarcastic and blunt comments/jokes that he drops out during certain situations, Paul is an overall serious person, and takes everything with a certain amount of caution and seriousness. He's also athletic, keeping up a regular training regime despite spending most of his time studying and/or gaming.

Weaknesses:
Trust.

Paul could joke around with you, talk to you as an equal, and generally be friendly if he's in a good mood, but it takes either an angelic person, or someone he likes right off the bat to gain his trust easily. If it's not any of the above, it will take a while for him to become truly used to you, and for him to trust you with anything about him. Likewise, if he doesn't trust you, you shouldn't trust him. Loyalty is earned, after all. Not given.
"The Talent..."

Mutation:
"Once I inhaled the gas, and the pain started...I could, over the sound of my choked screams, feel my brain internally expanding...and it was as if a veil was destroyed, allowing me to finally see."

The gas has given Paul an extraordinary ability. The ability...of Psychokinesis, though narrowed down to only a few applicants. He wields the power of telekinesis, telepathy (He can only talk to other through their mind, not read their thoughts), and the variants of those powers as well. Paul can command direct control of objects and lifeforms - physical, invisible, or even gaseous or liquid, and move them with his mind, though using his hands and arms to support the strain usually helps immensely. He can also crush objects, utilizing the blunt force of his telekinetic prowess. His telepathy allows him to utilize slight precognitive awareness, which gives him prior alerts to physical threats aimed towards his body. There's other uses for his power of Psychokinesis, including creating constructs with his telekinetic energy, and even enhancing his strength via mentally enchanting certain appendages.

- Telekinesis ~ Move, crush, pull, or generally affect things with your mind.

- Telepathy ~ Heavily increased reaction time, and the ability to talk to others through a mental link.

- Enhanced Intelligence ~ Brain is similar to a black hole. Paul was originally a 4.0 student, but his mutation has increased his intelligence to new levels.

Mutation Strengths:
As Paul's powers are firmly connected to his brain, whenever he is free of a headache or migraine, no matter how minor or severe, and when his brain is extremely fresh and free-thinking, his powers are amplified, as he can use more of his telekinetic powers when he has more brain power to work with.

Mutation Weaknesses:
To use his mutation effectively, Paul needs to keep a calm mind, even in times of great danger. Luckily, he's a very adaptive and calm individual, and keeping calm in even the face of death is easy enough, especially with his new heavily enhanced and organized brain. However, sharp, incredibly loud noises increases the heart-rate, and therefore, abrupt noises such as that could potentially disrupt his flow of power, if only temporarily.

History:
"It all started with...the boisterous screams of a traitorous woman. Oh, former-mom. You crazy lady, you."

From what he remembered, which was a lot considering his photographic memory, Paulsen was originally named 'Keenani', born to a lower-classed family back in Miami. His mother was a single parent, and a really, really bad mother. The lady had no job, if being a drug addict counter, and she was a super-alcoholic. Like, super. She would even go as far as to temporarily sell off her cheap, worn-down car for booze money.

But, carrying on,

It was obvious that the Lady, who shall go unnamed, didn't want her child. In fact, she was only impregnated with the annoying 'pest' because she had gotten drunk off her ass at some party, and had taken like ten men to bed that night. There was no way for her to buy diapers, bottles, milk, or even baby food. There were only two options for her at that time. Kill the baby, which would have just been terrible, or put it up for adoption. The second option was free, and wouldn't scar her for life, so with the baby wrapped in a torn, moth-infested sheet, the Lady took herself up to the adoption agency, drunk off her ass, and commanded for the secretary to put the baby 'back where it should have been'.

Long story short, she was arrested not even an hour later due to drunk driving, child neglect, and drug use. Keenani was, even with all of the uncaring love he had been given, still a cute baby boy, and was shortly put up for adoption minutes later after his mother was taken out of the agency, kicking and screaming, by burly police officers. There, in the adoption agency, he was clothed, properly fed, and taken to an orphanage to await any adoptionees.

The orphanage wasn't anything one would expect. At his first visit there, Keenani, now renamed Paulsen after various law-breaking statements written by the secretary, was rather amazed, even for someone as young as two years old. It was a bright place, with kids of all sizes and colors running around. He melded into the usual crowd, keeping to his room, and generally being inconspicuous.

It was when he turned 10 that he was finally adopted. He was happy to be accepted, finally, even if it were with people a shade or two whiter than him. He grew up an extremely smart boy, though he changed in middle-school due to hormones, and matured once more when he made it to high-school, or 8th grade in his case. During his time there, he learned to love his family immensely, even building a tight friendship with one of his cousins, John. Life was great.

"Will Paulsen Thomason report to the office?"

"Fuck my life."

Other:
He is the cousin of Johnathan Marr, despite the two having vastly different last names and appearances.
