Yes, I'm sorry to see this go as well.

It's just that I was originally planning on this being around 4-to-5 participants max, but I accepted too may people due to me being a wuss when it comes to declining people. It would have went a lot smoother with a smaller, more compact cast.

Again, I'm sorry. I might be making another RP soon, but with a more solid character-limit. I don't know yet.
I'd be in this...like....a ...

I don't know where I was going with that.

I'm in.
The young adults looked about strangely before the doors finally slid open and let light flood into the vehicle.

Sin was still resting in his seat, arms folded behind his head and eyes closed, when the lights slowly blared into the helicopter's compartment, along with a sudden blast of warm, comfortable air. Amongst the excited murmur of both teenagers and adults alike, the hooded teen slowly rose from his seat, a small groan escaping his face-mask. Everyone passed him up, thankfully, because of his tactical spot hidden in a shadowy corner, where he had melded into the bench and wall.

As he walked out of the helicopter, jumping down from the ramp and disappearing into his own shadow, only to reappear, leaning on a nearby lamp post, Sin couldn't help but whistle quietly as he stared at the school. It was very impressive..just everything about it. His right arm clenched, before a mass of shadowy tendrils consumed it, and Shadowbane appeared, the spiky hilt clenched tightly in his gloved hands.

Sin stared down into the blade, looking at his own appearance. He couldn't wait.

Strapping the blade onto his back, and sticking it there with Darkness chains, Sin began to walk towards the school, a small pip in his step. This was, after all, what he worked for, right?
Edit: Actually, you can take away my reservation. I am currently filled up with RP's for now.
The Kid Lantern said
The League generally doesn't kill enemies so absorbing metahuman criminals would be a deal breaker. If he's physically and mentally enhanced plus has abilities like growing longer nails, extra arms, etc... I'd go ahead and make him like a limited Plastic Man or Mr. Fantastic... I do like that the powers come from a metahuman mutation in his DNA!~KL~

Yeah, basically I took the powers from another character I had. I edited out.

The reason he's not similar to 'Plastic Man' or 'Mr. Fantastic' is because he doesn't specifically make himself stretchier, and the way his powers work isn't similar as well. It's kind of like this...:

Sin watched as the baseball flew towards him at supersonic speed. He only had a few minutes to react. Patience...patience.

A beastial growl rose from his throat, and the teen abruptly turned his hand blurring upwards as he stared at the robot who threw the baseball. Behind him, the ball split into two mid-air, falling onto the concrete sidewalk silently, before exploding.

Sin grinned grimly.

His right arm was now...different, if you could even consider it an arm. The entire arm, from the shoulder down, was basically a large, gleaming black, spiky sword made up of some sort of gleaming cold material that seemed to absorb and reflect light. Another baseball was thrown his way. Dashing forward, Sin brought his sword-arm upwards, slicing through the baseball grenade's middle like a knife through butter. His feet abruptly dug into the concrete, and Sin twisted around, his left arm transforming into a bladed, tentacle-like tendril that shot forward and pierced the robot through the chest, jerking it backwards toward Sin's solitary figure.

"Get over here...!" he quoted in his usual disembodied voice, just as the robot was in his face. His left arm transformed back into it's usual form, while he completely bisected and eviscerated the robot with his sword-arm.
That's basically it. If anything, I took HEAVY inspiration from the Prototype series when writing out the powers, as Prototype 2 and 1 are my favorite games. Anyways, DrewVonAwesome, if my character is screwing with your idea then just tell me. I have multiple characters I can tweak and use here.
I'm here as well.

May make a boy sponsored by Animal Man.

As for a power, I was thinking this:

Basically, Sin, my character, was born with the DNA of an unknown species. It's not known whether it was injected into him by an insane, fake 'doctor', or if his mother was originally born with it herself, but this unique mutation has virtually changed his entire DNA system, forming his blood into wild, fluctuating cells that goes by the name of 'nanolite'. This has given his over-all physical and mental core increased conditioning due to it not being comparable to simple human DNA cells, meaning superhuman attributes and instinctive reactions.

This genetic mutation also came with the manipulation over his own body. Sin has complete control over the anatomies and bodies of his own self, including skin, nails, fat, muscles, blood, nerves, etc., allowing him to freely alter and manipulate them. He can grow additional appendages and body-parts, remove them or otherwise manipulate his body in visible, chemical and cellular/sub-cellular levels.
I don't understand.

Our familiar's species have to be based on a specific element? What animal would be considered 'lightning', then? Zeus's lightning bolt, if it was sentient?

If I sound annoyed then I'm not. I'm just moderately sarcastic on the internet.
My character is finished. On the front page.

Name: Paul Pierce

Age: 19

Gender: Male

Appearance:

Element: Shadow

Powers: Paul's powers stems more from the 'lethal' side of the spectrum. He can manipulate it from pure nothingness, forming razor-sharp, extremely lethal darkness to coat his arms, body, and even make it from the air. It allows him to shape it as he pleases, making razor-sharp swords over his own arms, powerful, large fists, and even blasting steel-like Darkness Tendrils from his body to pierce the target. The darkness is incredibly durable, dense, and light.

Personality: "Yeah...well...you're inbred. Hah."

Paul has a bit of emotional baggage locked away deep inside of him, mostly due to the things he has gone through in his life. Despite this, he keeps it to himself, managing to maintain his casual, laidback personality even with series of thoughts constantly overriding themselves in his mind and soul. When he was younger, Paul was a loud, antsy boy who always wanted to be the center of attention. Annoying - Hell, obnoxious even. He was disliked...a lot in middle-school, even though all he wanted was the attention he believed that he deserved. It all changed, of course, when he went to high school and realized that being an annoying idiot would get him no friends, and only hatred, dislike, and bullies. He changed for the better, becoming a generally more serious and liked guy because of it.

Paulsen is calm, laidback, and focused, with an over-casing of serious to seal the deal. He's generally quiet unless he feels the need to speak, or if he's spoken to, and even then he formulates words easily, with the same casual tone he keeps with everything. He isn't one to throw his problems or questions onto other people, but if someone wants to confess something to him, be it personal or a general question, he listens with honest ears, and in return, would give you an honest answer.

Honesty and bluntness is another thing. Paul won't lie unless he dislikes you, or doesn't trust you at all. Whenever asked something by people he's completely neutral to, or people he actually likes, Paul responds with the calm bluntness of a rampaging rhino. Whether or not it hurts your feelings, Paul speaks the truth, mostly to help the person asking the questions rather than hurting their feelings and causing drama, another thing that Paul hates with a passion.

Drama is something Paul dislikes, and it's very easy to realize why. Drama creates problems, and unneeded problems are annoying and complicated. While Paul enjoys puzzles or word-games, he attempts to cut the line whenever it crosses to personal and unrelated emotion shit. Some people may think that, since Paul is such a smooth-mouthed male with a sarcastic wit of a silver blade, it would be stupid for him to hate drama. Sure, Paul may enjoy minor quips and jokes, some in which may be offensive to certain people, especially with the language, but he smoothly lays off when he could see the victim getting really, really upset. Unless they're someone he dislikes. Then he makes them suffer.

In general, Paul is a laidback, 'chilled' teenager with a love for power and videogames.

History: "It all started with...the boisterous screams of a traitorous woman. Oh, former-mom. You crazy lady, you."

From what he remembered, which was a lot considering his photographic memory, Paulsen was originally named 'Keenani', born to a lower-classed family back in Miami. His mother was a single parent, and a really, really bad mother. The lady had no job, if being a drug addict counter, and she was a super-alcoholic. Like, super. She would even go as far as to temporarily sell off her cheap, worn-down car for booze money.

But, carrying on,

It was obvious that the Lady, who shall go unnamed, didn't want her child. In fact, she was only impregnated with the annoying 'pest' because she had gotten drunk off her ass at some party, and had taken like ten men to bed that night. There was no way for her to buy diapers, bottles, milk, or even baby food. There were only two options for her at that time. Kill the baby, which would have just been terrible, or put it up for adoption. The second option was free, and wouldn't scar her for life, so with the baby wrapped in a torn, moth-infested sheet, the Lady took herself up to the adoption agency, drunk off her ass, and commanded for the secretary to put the baby 'back where it should have been'.

Long story short, she was arrested not even an hour later due to drunk driving, child neglect, and drug use. Keenani was, even with all of the uncaring love he had been given, still a cute baby boy, and was shortly put up for adoption minutes later after his mother was taken out of the agency, kicking and screaming, by burly police officers. There, in the adoption agency, he was clothed, properly fed, and taken to an orphanage to await any adoptionees.

The orphanage wasn't anything one would expect. At his first visit there, Keenani, now renamed Paulsen after various law-breaking statements written by the secretary, was rather amazed, even for someone as young as two years old. It was a bright place, with kids of all sizes and colors running around. He melded into the usual crowd, keeping to his room, and generally being inconspicuous.

It was when he turned 10 that he was finally adopted. He was happy to be accepted, finally. He grew up an extremely smart boy, though he changed in middle-school due to hormones, and matured once more when he made it to high-school, or 8th grade in his case. During his time there, he learned to love his family immensel. Life was great.

That's when he heard a knock on his door.

Familiar species: Wyvern

Powers of familiar: Bane has the ability to fly, relatively well, and in his baby form, he also has the ability to blast black, burning shadow flames from his mouth and body.

Other: None.
Payne stared down inside of the dark hallway, the biomass that made up his eyes shifting slightly to allow his eyes to adapt to the darkness fairly well. As soon as he was able to see again, the hooded man silently watched as the Matthew person brought out the heavily armored guard, the one who the girl screamed over, dragging the corpse in front of Riley. Walking over, Payne bent down and touched a finger to the man's armored chest, closing his eyes in thought.

"He has the fingerprints for the sensor, along with the keycard. Cover your eyes, kids."

With a bit of force, his finger pierced through the man's armor, piercing flesh and muscle. A bit more focus, and the Payne's body suddenly erupted into spiky red tendrils, piercing the man's body in every place imaginable before tearing him into biomass. Without a second thought, he consumed the man, standing up once all of the tentacles disappeared.

"Okay, we're read...y" Payne's voice changed from his voice to the man's mid-sentence, and his body changed into the hulking armored form of the MSP Juggernaut, to every last detail.
