Aeron, suprisingly, had the upper hand. Everything I saw indicated that data died on the battlefield. I tried to save him and myself both by tearing down the amaranthine dimension lock, but it wasnt enough. They released the field shortly after his disappearance. I scanned the area before and after the field went down... there was no trace.
