Nobody ever expects a secret agent. Not when they're the suspect in a murder.

The person happened to be holding a knife, and upon seeing it, Riyu tore the leash out of Axel's hand, turning her vicious attention to the person. She attempted to pounce on the person, being protective, but had to skid to a stop as the person brandished the knife. "Now, now, Puppy. That's no way to treat somebody you don't know," The person hissed. Riyu snarled, her eyes changing to cold red.
Riyu noticed somebody following them but paid the person no mind. She paused to sniff at a tree, looking up and barking at a squirrel. She was behaving a lot like a normal dog, which could be taken as deceptive behavior- it was.
Upon reaching the pavement, Riyu slowed to a happy little trot, staying close to Axel, tail still whipping.
Riyu barked happily and padded outside, practically dragging Axel. Her tail was wagging so hard it hurt, but she didn't care. She liked going on walks with people she cared about, and even the thought of a walk got her excited.
Riyu's tail wagged and the wolf held up the leash expectantly.
Only hours after King Orthis’ murder, reports of a second murder come in. This time, the murderer left a single clue on the body of the victim- a young girl of only 12. This clue was a thin white string braided into the victim’s hair. But the string was a very small clue, perhaps even a calling card to mock investigators. There was no way to connect the string to anybody, as it had no prints or DNA on it, not even a magical signature, meaning that it hadn’t been created using magic- or from magical sheep-. A team of humanoids is being assembled who should be able to figure out who the killer is before it’s too late… but these solutions never come easily. A series of clues is being left with each death, and there are three main suspects.

Even through the chaos, there remains some hope. The king’s son, now King Eliot, is well-protected and he has remained alive and is continuing his father’s legacy of being a merciful king. However, some people still disagree with the way Eliot leads. But Eliot is beside the point. A vital part of the investigation is the first interviews with each suspect, transcribed below. Some details have been redacted as only class A personel have high enough clearance to read the full transcripts.

Riyu yipped and picked up the leash again, wagging.
She wagged, dropped the leash, and attempted to get the collar down from the top hook. She knew it was illegal to be on a walk with a "dog" without a leash and collar, so she would have to put up with it. She growled in annoyance as she failed, eventually sitting down and waiting for Axel to get it.
Vidarr muttered a curse. Either Tidus had forgotten he existed, or something along those lines. He stepped back and essentially melted into the shadows except for his glowing orange eyes. He left the shell of his droid in plain sight, and he would be rather upset if nobody fixed the droid. Apart from having vital information, the droid was also an extremely good translator.
Riyu yipped and circled before sitting back down. Then she stood again and yanked the leash that was hanging on the coat rack down. She sat back down, tail wagging a bit as she tilted her head questioningly.
