We would like to know what kind of snake she is and are interested in knowing how the symbol ties in with her overall personality. When you say snake eyes, do you mean a venomous snake's slit pupils, or every snake's brille, the layer of skin that protects their eyes?
Is she actually cold blooded? Because you state that she likes warm things and have her fairly rugged up, but don't mention it anywhere in the sheet. If so, in this particular AU cold blooded humanoids are not allowed as faunus are still mostly human, even the non-mammalian varieties like snakes and birds. If she isn't cold blooded, she will likely overheat in that many layers, due to Remnant being a fairly temperate place so far. Also, when you say sling box, do you mean a sling pouch like the military use for ammunition?
The main problem we have with her background is the way you have portrayed the White Fang. The White Fang may have started up before the main characters of the show started at Beacon but they were a peaceful protest group, not a gang putting out protection rackets on Faunus families. It was only three years before RWBY's start date (so four years before this RP's start date) that they had a change of leadership and started using more aggressive tactics, which would have been around the time Layla arrived at Signal, and most certainly were not executing Faunus for protesting against the increased aggression. And even then, they seem highly Underground focused, relying on established criminals like Roman to get what they need rather than abusing the very people they are supposed to be fighting for.
Her personality seems somewhat one dimensional - very stereotypical 'unfocused and terrible during academic pursuits but focused during physical pursuits'. The interest in creating automated drones is somewhat unique, though a bit redundant due to the fact that the Atlas Military has literally cornered the market on creating new automated and mechanical weaponry, unless she was planning to join the R&D branch of the Atlas Military. It seems like something that would be better suited to a scientist character than a Hunter.
I'm sure you remember what Phantom had to say about the weapon. I won't go into it here, but it's still really basic and not something a person who was raised as a weaponsmith and went to Signal for four years would have. It is stated in-show that everyone who attends Signal crafts their own weapon (Ruby's sniper-scythe being the most obvious example), and even if she didn't get rid of the basic shotgun, she would have at the very least upgraded it to be more effective in combat and have more capabilites, such as a dedicated ranged and melee form using the transforming technology readily available in-universe.
