Who knows? Different selves are tricky to keep track of.

Hey, no need to apologize. Just because you've survived doesn't necessarily mean that the moment itself still doesn't suck, especially since you lost a chunk of, well, that. *Says the last part with a gesture to facility portion.*
I'd rather listen to frustrations and otherwise then try to compare problems of different scales. After all is said and done, I can't imagine this hurts any less, and I'm not about to say otherwise.

... I just have no clue on how to cheer people up or at least support them in situations like this.

... interesting. Now I'm left trying to figure out a case of unstoppable force meets immovable object on my end.

'Cause I've got Big Eldritch Force of Nature living in non-dimensional space that basically eats and devours the conceptual bonds between things. Which is to say it literally eats the connections between concepts on a fundamental level so as to actually remove those bonds from reality temporarily. Thankfully though, it rarely is up to eating large swaths of a specific thing, and just nibbles on smaller scale stuff existence wide.

... now that I think about it, I'm not sure if it's even fundamentally limited to this 'layer'/'plane' of existence.
