Yeah I'm waiting too
No, it was November 1st when I said that,Juju

Welcome back, Deth!
I didn't have candy so I gave the kids that rang (my light wasn't even on) oatmeal.
Jon helped lift Yvette up, and helped Mike carry her out. He was a third year medical student- more than anything, he had just been watching people treat patients, he really hadn't done anything himself, and began to feel unprepared for the situation. He hoped that an actual doctor had survived, because he didn't want to deal with this himself. He helped sit Yvette down on the blanket, and then sat down next to her, looking at his blood stained pant leg.

He heard Yvette ask if she would need stitches, and turned his head toward her hip, looking at it,"I, I really can't say, and even if you do.." He sighed, he was speaking softly, but he had to find a way to put things nicely,"..We might need to find a way to improvise, but don't worry- help will probably be here soon." Jon had been so focused, he hadn't realized that Mike had said something about hoping a doctor or nurse was alive, but could vaguely remember it, and debated calling out. He decided to do so,"Hey, uh, Mike! I'm a medical student- haven't done much though." He said.
Anisa followed Rena- she had had some experience with helping medically, but not much. She thought about how- oh no, she wasn't going to allow her mind to go there. She refrained from thinking, because she would turn into a mess again. She reminded herself that this was supposed to be a fresh start- and that she was going to be alright, the past had to be put behind her so she could face a brave new future.

When they reached the medical supplies, Anisa ran out in front of Rena, and picked up some gauze, tape, cotton balls, and antiseptic. She then turned and looked at Rena, her eyes wide."Trust me, I am not a fool- I know how to do this." She then pointed at the burn scars on her arms, and bit her lip,"I..uh.. I guess thats how I learned, even though if I would've figured it out quicker, they wouldn't be so ugly.." She looked down.
Jon breathed a sigh of relief as another man showed up- he was happy that someone seemed to know what was going on, and watched him as he looked for something to cut the seatbelt with. His own leg burnt in pain, but he ignored it, this girl was worse off than him, and he could wait. He watched the man come over and begin cutting though the seatbelt.

"I'm Jon." He said quietly, beginning to feel a bit unsure of himself. He was trying to keep himself composed, but the situation was beginning to get to him. He couldn't tell if Mike was actually as calm as he seemed, but he decided that it was best just to go with it. He nodded at Mike, and got ready to carry the girl out.
Jon heard a girl call out for help and made his way over to her, looking at her carefully. Other people had gotten up and began to move around, and he figured they were okay. He noticed the bit of metal in the girl's hip and winced a little, looking at her. He knew well enough that he shouldn't remove the seatbelt, but didn't have a knife on him. "Does anyone have a knife? Could someone please help me?" He called, and then looked back at the girl, she wasn't much younger than him, and it wasn't his place to assume that she had a thing for British men, especially at a time like this, but he looked at her and quietly said,"Everything will be okay, just try not to move too much."
Uh I think you should be fine, Juju.
Jon came to, shifting about uncomfortably-he felt as if he had just had the worst nightmare ever about a plane crash, and he must've fallen out of bed and onto the floor, because the ground beneath him was hard and his neck ached. He opened his eyes- it hadn't been a nightmare. He was laying in the isle of a plane, and he could see straight out the back. He sat up and grimaced- his back and neck hurt, and he became aware of debris stuck in his leg, but he hauled himself up. "Anyone else still out there?" He called shakly and nervously. It hurt him to stand, and he was only vaguely aware of who he was, his head was throbbing. Suddenly, everything snapped into reality- he had been in a plane crash, he was going back home because his mum could possibly die, but here he was, and he wasn't even exactly sure where he was at. Where were the emergency crews at? Shouldn't someone be rescuing them? He bit his lip- he wasn't prepared to use his medical knowledge, even though he knew he could, it just seemed daunting, due to a lack of supplies and help. He still wasn't sure how he ended up in the isle, but started to look for survivors desperately.
Jon made his way out of his apartment- a backpack on his back and a small suitcase in tow. He quickly threw them into his car and sped off- he had forgotten to lock his apartment, but his mind was far from that. The door could stay unlocked, he was too much in a hurry to turn around and lock it. Of course, the traffic flow had to be unusually heavy, when he needed to be to the airport within the hour. He tapped his fingers nervously on the steering wheel- breathing a sigh of relief. Thirty minutes later, he arrived at the airport, it still was going to be a stretch for him to make his flight, but he hurried, and managed to get onto the plane as last call was being made. Of course, he had gotten a first class seat- he felt as if he needed the extra room. He threw his bag down at his feet, and buckeled up- some people got nervous on planes but this wasn't Jon at all- he had been on enough planes in his life to be completely comfortable with the mode of travel. As soon as the plane took off, he took out a medical terminology book and some empty notecards- if he was going to be stuck on an eight hour flight, he might as well do something useful with it. He fumbled for his pen, and then got absorbed into the task at hand, beginning to make notecards for about 250 different words he needed to completely memorize. A little while later, the pilot came over the speaker, saying that something had gone wrong and they needed to brace for impact. Jon got a little nervous, but it wasn't until the back of the plane blew up that reality set in. The last thing he thought about before the world faded to black was that of course with the luck he was having that this would happen.
