Name: Abigail Harlow
Age: 28
Height: 5’2”
Weight:116lbs
Melee Weapon: The Cookie Cutter: A spring loaded, hand-mounted buzzsaw. When switched off, the blade retreats into the disc. The wrist-guard and blade can be pulled back a little at the flick of a switch, allowing Abigail to use both of her hands. Gripping onto the handle snaps the wrist-guard back into place and reveals the blade, and a small button on the side of the handle switches the machine on. Over time, Abigail has learnt how to disassemble and repair the machinery (and even if she forgets some parts, she’s written it all down in her journal). It’s taken her a significant amount of time to master, but she’s most proficient with this type of weapon. For practicality, Abigail wears a metal bracer on her other arm to even out the weight and work as an impromptu shield against incoming blows - if she’s fast enough.
Firearm/Ranged Weapon: Most of the money went into the Cookie Cutter, leaving Abigail with a bandolier of throwing knives. They’re flimsy and need to be hurled with some force to do some actual damage, but Abigail appreciates the fact that she’s always got several sharp objects on her person in case the Cookie Cutter decides to give up mid-battle. The handles have a hole in them for tying things to the handle.
Other Equipment: Serrated Hunting Knife, Bloodied First Aid Kit, Climbing Spikes, Box of Matchsticks, Cheese Wire, Paper Bag of Sweets, Morphine Syringes, Small Journal, Grappling Hook, Quiver of Crossbow Bolts, Courier/Letter satchel.
Hunting Specialty: Abominations - the bigger, the better.
Bio:Abigail started off as Victor Strade’s personal courier - at least, that was the official term. Her skillset was a bit more varied from eavesdropper to blackmailer, a hoarder of information on various small politicians and a few mildly famous faces around St. Alves Republic. Her paycheck wasn’t too substantial but she stuck around with Victor for her own reasons. It also helped that Victor supplemented her paycheck with various gifts and commodities, from new shoes to a decent meal. In return, Abigail did the things that a man of class could not feasibly do; she knew the streets and alleyways of St. Alves like the back of her hand, and her short, bony physique helped her worm into all sorts of crawlspaces or climb rickety gutters without breaking the pipes.
When Victor started his training to become a hunter like his father, it seemed only natural that he taught Abgail too - if only to have a sparring partner that he could easily win against. It took Abigail several years to reach the hunters’ standards, and it was no easy task juggling a brutal training regime and her ‘official’ occupation on the streets. She suffered from bouts of sickness, exhaustion and multiple failed missions from her employer. During their first few missions together Abigail was more of a burden than an asset, and Victor finally decided to spend some of his own money to equip Abigail with some decent armour and weaponry. One of the most expensive items from this little shopping spree was the buzzsaw that Abigail rather affectionately nicknamed the Cookie Cutter.
All of a sudden, Abigail’s capabilities skyrocketed. With gear to match her fighting style she held her own against the monsters she faced. With each success Abigail refined her technique and the once-debilitating training regimes became significantly easier to manage alongside her work. Interestingly enough, the runt of a woman had a particularly gruesome method of dismembering the abominations that she fought against when Victor hunted the hidden acolytes in and around the St Alves area. Word spread of their efficiency, and Abigail used the beginnings of their reputation to dabble in her own missions from time to time. More often than not, she can be seen lurking in Victor’s shadow - Letter satchel in one hand, buzzsaw in the other.
