God, if Parry didn't teach Abigail how to put on make-up and directed her fashion sense then we are seriously doing something wrong here.

I get the feeling Victor and Abigail might drop by the daycare and say hello to their favourite celestial, but it's all down to how the collab goes. Speaking of, does Parael actually live in the daycare, or has he got a house nearby? The post made it a bit vague. Personally, I hope his poker team play on tiny, brightly coloured plastic chairs and use plastic mugs with cartoons printed on them as whiskey glasses, but I thought I'd clarify before we start typing.

EDIT: Actually, would magical people have felt Nemsemet's attack? Perhaps they wouldn't be able to put two and two together just yet, but at the very least they might feel a wrongness, or a general feeling of unease, or just a big fucking blast of dark energy? I don't get the feeling that subtlety is his strong suit.
Is it just Rusty who's stuck there, or is everyone else trapped in New Camden?
I've updated my CS with my character relations - it's a good way to get back into character btw, so if anyone's interest is starting to wane then I'd suggest adding the entries for the newer characters.
That sounds good actually, I just think we need to start soon before people lose interest - especially those who applied right at the start. It would suck if we lose people because they lost that hype to RP their character.
@HeySeuss what's the prologue idea, if you don't mind me asking?
Still open? I'll try and read through this in the morning if you have availability.

I'm afraid we closed a few days ago for the start of the IC, sorry!

As for ideas on how to start...in my experience the best way to kick things off is with an event that will attract every character to the same place. And frankly, that could be anything from a funfair to a secret meeting. Ultimately I think it should involve all the people on team "fuck Nemsemet" by having some sort of "resistance" themes to it.

Or you could just open with a description of the setting, the weather, the time of day, the season and the atmosphere in new Camden two days after the council got killed and see what the characters are up to in their OPs, then from there try to gently nudge them together. That'll give you another week tops to figure out ideas, and most RPers tend to try and actively seek out other characters to RP with so we'll do half the work for you. If you go down that route all you really need to do is add a lot of detail into the setting and let us roam free for a bit, which I think might be the easier option if you're still stuck on an opening.

At the end of the day I'm just really excited to start, regardless of what we do. I may not be able to post until the weekend but that doesn't mean I won't be writing one up whenever I get a little time to open the laptop. Word documents exist for a reason, after all. While I wait, I'll probably work on Abigail's connections to the rest of the characters.
I'm going to be busy next week so I'm not sure I'll be able to post until the weekend at least. We'll see how it goes.
Nice! Looking forward to seeing what you do with the IC post too, since I imagine a lot of people will be scattered around town.
When are signups being closed btw? I'm worried we'll get an influx of people when the IC starts and the group is quite large already.
