The thestrals room was surprisingly large, bigger than the room Spark had been living in. Together they laid the sleeping pony down on the sofa where he curled up without waking again.
While Sound opened his beer, Spark took a little look around the room. There wasn’t much to see, a nice sized bed, some cupboards, a sofa and windows looking out over Friendship City. Not wanting to miss what could be her last chance to see the city, Spark crossed the room and looked out at the dim, flickering lights that sprawled the settlement. She felt a little nostalgic as she cast her eyes over the dilapidated shacks and houses that made up the home she’d known for so long.
Finally, Sounds voice drew Spark from her wordless goodbye. He had a point, there would be a lot of walking tomorrow and she was unlikely to see a proper bed for a while. Turning back from the window she blinked as her eyes readjusted to the darkened room.
“Good night Sound, thanks fo…”
Her words died as she caught sight of the now dusterless stallion spread over the sofa.
“Umm…” She averted her eyes blushing profusely and without another word climbed into the bed, facing the wall away from the stallions.
If the sight of one clothless stallion was embarrassing for Spark, then the sounds emanating from the next room were nearly unbearable. A more confident pony might have pounded on the door to shut the two up. Spark however remained curled in a ball, her face as red as her mane until the early hours of the morning when the sound finally ceased.
