Ironsight may have been rendered blind by the fog but he was very much aware of his surroundings, he heard small groups of thuds, like bodies hitting snow, with what enhanced genetics he did have, he could actually see who they were. He knelt down near Shadowhawk's broken body, drawing his bow as he readied himself for a stealth attack. He kept a close watch on the incapacitated and deceased members of his team, quickly turn once he felt a presence behind him. His lethal broadhead arrows were ready to tear into something, the archer lowered his weapon when he saw it was just Spellthief. "I know the protocol...." He said, trying to get back to his task at hand as the mage left.
Hours LaterShadowhawk, Archangel, and remarkably Darkstar were at rest within the infirmary, unfortunate for the three of them, their injuries sustained meant temporal life support for a while. Auntie Dot monitored their status of health 24/7 in case she needed to make adjustments for them. Ironsight was watching as the AI tend to Darkstar, making notes of the poor cosmic powered girl. Her face was swollen past recognition at this point, it was easy to tell she had numerous fractures, the x-rays hanging up were just a confirmation.Purplish black splotches marked the bruises on her face. neck, and other areas of her body. Looking over to Archangel was a different story, his face remarkably swollen like Darkstar's, the scorch marks left by Prime's attack were revealed to have gone through him, narrowly missing his spine. The fate of his broken wings were still unknown, one was confirmed broken and the other just sprained badly. Shadowhawk's condition wasn't has bad visually but it was bad enough, several cuts were line across his face, Auntie Dot took upon herself to give the Sentinel leader a brain scan, the results were worrying. In his current state, it seemed like he was vulnerable to many mental problems. Having seen enough, Ironsight pressed a button on the side of the window, making the window one way from the inside, making him unable to know what was going on.
All of the Sentinels were sitting in the next room over, sitting on the many couches they had. Bishop looked to be distraught about the whole situation, being down three teammates was news that was going to travel fast. Surge sat with her arms crossed, a different demeanor was displayed now that these events had occurred, after all, Shadowhawk was the one who got her off of the streets in the first place, seeing him wounded in such a critical condition bothered her to say the least. At least for the most part, things were settling down, Prime was locked away beneath their base with no hopes of escaping or powering up again. With the city at ease for the most part, Ironsight felt they'd be fine for a while, Eden was rebuilding. He thought it'd be okay enough for him to visit Second City, maybe he could check out the nightclubs, he heard they had reservations to the point where they'd kick everyone who wasn't on 'the list' out, even if they paid. The archer decided he'd call the girls later, he wasn't going to drag them along just yet. "Dot, I'll be going, lockdown the base when I go.." He said, the little holo-pad rested in his palm as Auntie Dot popped up, a managed smile on her face which was strange for her to have a hint of sadness. "Acknowledged, Ironsight..." She droned, locking up once he left, Once he was dressed in some casual clothing he took the scenic route down to the city, hiking down.
About an hour or two later he made it down the mountain, arriving in the city by bus. He casually walked his way down the sidewalk, unbeknownst to him, he was in a respectfully harsher part of the city. "Hey, ya lost?" Ironsight quickly spun around to see a group of gang members crowding the alleyway he turned into. He smirked a little. "I might be, but then again..." He trailed off as he neared a gang member, slamming his shin into the joint keeping his patella in place, shattering it. "I might have been looking for trouble..." He smirked, assuming a fighting stance. His smile faded when he saw most of the thugs had weapons, mainly lead pips and machetes. His eyes widened in surprise, he didn't take into account that these people probably knew how to hold their own.
A few hours laterIronsight began to regain his hearing, he could hear laughing, the odd feeling of wind rushing by him made him question how his body was oriented. "What the...?" He groaned, he body patterned with bruises, he opened his eyes to see a group of gangsters in the vicinity. "Hey, he's waking up!" One of them said, Ironsight smiled, showing his blood stained teeth. Once he saw one of them begin to wind up with a baseball bat he instinctively tried to cover his face, once to realize they were chained up too. "Oh sh...." He began to cursed, being cut off by the impact of a baseball bat to his ribs. Soon after the hits just kept on coming, others joined in, bashing lead pipes and anything else that was blunt into his body. The hooting and hollering of gangsters was barely drawing Ironsight's attention as his world was lit up. Each hit caused him to swing a little from the chain he was tied to, the gangsters treating him like a pinata at this point. It got to an extent to where Ironsight just began laughing hysterically, it hurt so bad but it was just numbed to a point, that didn't stop them from trying to shut him up. They stopped for a second, seeming to just back off, Ironsight spat out blood and coughed a little, chuckling slightly. "That's all?" He managed to grin, despite his swollen face, his expression dropped when he saw a gang member quickly running up with silver colored bands around his fingers, brass knuckles "Wait, wait, wait!" He said, completely taken off guard by the whole thing, his world going dark as the brass knuckles made contact.
