Mina had bren looking out the window of the house with a somewhat amused look on her face.'Verona, you can read that man like a book and see the future, you must know he can be a hardass. A hotheaded fool is what he is, but he's fun.' she said.She watched as the group took out the undead, immediately knowing to aim for the head. Video games and movies must have paid off.She looked up when Mason stormed back in, pushing his pup into her arms and looking at them for help. Mina chuckled as the pup growled a moment before settling and she watched outside.'If I helped there'd be no challenge. Oh, I do suggest not getting bitten by those things. Becoming one of those is one of the most cruel fates around here.' she said.'Your soul can't return as your body is still intact and you are forced to watch as your body kills others and feeds on them, quite gruesome.' she explained.'Either way, I can be of no help, maybe Verona can though.' she shrugged.
Masonlooked over at Mina with the most unamused face he could at the moment, he didn't care that she wasn't going to help, but the scratch he had made him wonder. He turned and left though, choosing not to bring up his wound, it was probably nothing anyway. He no longer had a weapon in his hand, but as he went outside he saw Seth throwing his blade toward him, thanking him for the help. Carefully he scanned his airborne weapon,waiting for the right time to grab onto the blade. Once grabbing the pommel of the blade, it sparked up with its odd energy almost immediately, Mason arced around with his blade, severing one of the damned souls from the neck up.
He glanced over and saw Koran and Verona entering the fray, surely this would all be over, it was likely he couldn't control his power anyway, using it might merit some widespread destruction. He raised an eyebrow at the sight of the glowing sword of Verona's sharing the same tint as Koran. He was caught off guard by a pouncing undead, getting immediately knocked down. He grunted in pain as the undead sunk its jagged teeth into his arm, managing to punch it away. He had nothing to lose now. He knocked the hellish creation down and began using his fists rather than his sword to kill it. "Just die already!" He shouted, standing up to face other undead, he kept his sword at the low ready, splitting their heads and severing them alive. He was taking shallow breaths by the end of it, the veins in his arm an almost black. "Oh man...I'm pretty fucked up right now.." He said as he held his burning arm, managing a smile, he then remembered what Mina told him. Understandably he'd need someone to kill him and fast before he became something he didn't want to be. "....dammit.." He cursed, beginning to distance himself from the group, stepping over the fallen bodies of undead. At least they had dealt with they all though.
