@Sketcher I'm glad. I'll be sure to tag you when the OOC is up.
Well seeing as i've got this much interest in the space of 2 hours, i'll have more time to get the OOC up. I'd expect Thursday evening at the very latest. Might be worth to start considering what you want your main party to be.

Dibs will work in this way:

-Each person picks 6 pokemon to have dibs on
-Each will have a number 1 to 6 (1 representing most wanted and 6 least)
-If nobody wants one on your list then great
-If two people want the same then the one with lowest number will get
-If both are drawn it will come to whoever has had to make the most adjustments and if still drawn, first come first served

How you get your Pokemon:

-Once your list of six has been confirmed, you must pick one to be your starter (it doesn't need to a starter in line with the games, but must have 2 evolutions as all game starters have had previously)
-The rest can be caught traditionally, swapped with random NPC's or any other unique way that you can think of (other than theft).

Other Notes:

-You are not limited to the six on your dibs list, it is simply that they are guarenteed to be yours.
-No duplicates amongst the group of players, so no two players could have a Pidgey. Only exception being Eevee although it must be made clear which evolution will be taken. Given the number of Pokemon i'd just rather not see the same spammed over and over.
YES SHOWDOWN BASED POKEMON YESALKFJADSKLJFALSKDFJLKASDJFLKADSJ!
*composes himself*
Hm, seems mildly interesting...

I love the enthusiasm

There'll probably be restrictions (not finalised yet) to help those who are not necessarilly into the competitive side of the Pokemon games. So for example i'm probably going to restrict pokemon to moves that they learn through levelling only. So for example no egg moves. There will be options for TM's throughout the game but they will be restricted to very small quantities. I'm also on the fence about held items.

Just want people to be able to pick their favourites without worrying about getting caned by potential pro's

Brief Background

The greatest journey of your young lives takes place now. Since the days of Ash Ketchum, Pallet Town has grown and thrived as a hot bed for tourists and those wanting to become Pokemon trainers. The late, great Professor Oak's work has spawned what is effectively a starting point for any prospective trainer. People travel from all over Kanto and further to claim their first Pokemon from the Oak Institute, setting out on their journey's to try to become the greatest trainer to have lived. This will be where your story begins. As a group you will travel all over Kanto facing other trainers and gym leaders with the end goal of entering the Kanto Regional Tournament. All the while, something strange is going on in the region and you will need to help solve it or risk great devastation plaguing the land.

Key Points

-Looking for between 1 and 3 players.
-There will be "dibs" on Pokemon to avoid multiples, it will be done in a fair way to ensure that people don't miss out on every one they want.
-No Legendaries/Mythic.
-Pokemon from all games will be able to be caught in the Kanto region (will be explained in OOC if this gets that far).
-Battles vs generic NPC's will be written.
-PvP, Gym Battles and eventually the Tournament will take place using Showdown. I will play the part of Gym Leaders. Ideally after the battles you guys can do write ups to reflect them. I'd suggest taking a look now and just getting a feel for how it all works. There will be rules to how your Pokemon can be set up seeing as you enter all stats etc yourself, but that will be covered in OOC.

Player Expectations

-As said above i'm looking for at most 3 people, so this will be done on a first come first serve basis using post order on this thread.
-Usual rules will apply such as god modding etc.
-I'm a flexible GM, if I do something you don't like then feel free to PM me to discuss it.
-I'm not asking for people to post daily but i'd like to see people posting once or twice a week. If you can't commit to that then please don't register your interest as it will not be fair on the other players.
-I would prefer European or East Coast US players purely from a functionality standpoint in terms of using Showdown. It's not a restriction but if you're any more than 5/6 hours either side of GMT there'll be more emphasis on you to accomodate to me when it comes to Gym Battles etc.

Closing Points

I am off work this week so if people are quick we could look at realistically getting this going by Sunday.

Sullick stared at the hume in front of him, studying with great detail as she spoke. He had spent alot of time around the species but there was something most certainly off about the person who had just spoke to him. More than anything it was the way in which she spoke that made him suspcious about the individual. As she began to clearly manipulate the drone he had recently spoken to, Sully began flicking through the various visual filters of his helmet and soon enough he realised what was stood before him. "There. I have locked away the drone. You must now reveal something private to me." Sullick bowed slightly as a sign of courtesy, still standing taller in doing so.

"That drone was only trying to do it's job, but it should have been able to assess the situation and realise that there was no way I would realistically fit into a seat." Sullick turned to the door, gesturing with his hand. "There are not many in this world who can do that without any sort of equipment. That means one of two things, you're either a modified hume or you're an AI." Moving his outstretched arm out in front of himself he reached out towards as if to present a handshake. "My name is Sullick, and my secret is that my eyes are an icy shade of blue with a faint glow in darkness..." It was very rare for Sullick to take his helmet off outside the confines of wherever he was resting, so the likelyhood any of these people would see his eyes was slim. "...it is a pleasure to meet you AI."
I've posted so if anyone wants to strike up a conversation or whatever until we reach the next point just tag me.

Sullick boarded the Sky Mariner, a ship clearly built more for the average hume than his own race. There were varying races but the majority lacked the size and bulk that came with being a Südkharri. While these races sat comfortably in the seats provided, Sullick had to settle for a low hand luggage rack towards the back. He sat himself down with his armour still on, not understanding why anyone would be outside of their house in anything but armour given the state of the world. Either way, it wasn't for him to judge others choices but to ensure that whatever was asked of him was carried out to the best of his ability.

Once everyone had taken their seats a drone approached him, "Excuse me sir, you must take a seat." Sullick raised an eyebrow underneath his helmet, the advanced piece of tech hiding his clearly confused expression. The drone persisted, "You cannot sit in the luggage rack for take off." Sullick finally spoke, his voice serious in tone and clearly not hiding his agitation. "So my dear drone, where do you suppose I sit? I am clearly to big for the seats provided.". The drone moved closer to Sullick's face, turning a spotlight onto him in an apparent sign of anger. "You must move to a seat or find yourself ejected from the flight." The filters within Sullick's helmet adjusted instantaneously with the light to ensure that he could still see clearly. He let out a sigh and pushed himself from the luggage rack.

He found the nearest aisle seat and took hold of the arm rest. He gripped it with one of his upper arms and with minimal effort wrenched the side of the chair off. "Oh dear, sir you cannot do that." Sullick threw the side of the chair over his shoulder and let out a laugh. "Maybe you should have thought about that before you told me to move." Sullick sat down, his backside only half on the seat. He looked around where he was seated, poking at random buttons to see what they did. He eventually brought up a holographic screen in front of him that gave him the option of localised music. He scrolled through the options before settling on a band that he had discovered recently. After a few minutes of the drone behind him talking to itself about the damaged chair the captain announced take off over the loudspeaker.

Even though his appearance was somewhat intimidating and sometimes his actions a bit out of the ordinary, he was a caring individual. It hurt him to have to tranquilise Korvo so that he could be put into storage with the various EXO's and MEU's, he was like family having raised the large beast since birth. Korvo was a Korragan, a massive herbivore whose body was covered in thick armour plating. Much like Sullick, Korvo's appearance betrayed who he really was. While on a battlefield he was the enemies worst nightmare, off it he was extremely playful. They had dealt with bandits and raiders many times over the years, even being involved in some larger fights when caught in the middle of larger conflicts. Wherever Sullick went he made sure that Korvo was well looked after and made no bones about what he'd do to someone who mistreats him.

Once in the air Sullick stood up and stretched, being on his feet was infinitely more comfortable than squeezing onto the seat. He looked about the cabin and noticed the drone from earlier earlier looking at him, it was almost as if it was scowling at him. Sullick turned away and began to look at those around him, he fully expected someone at some point to say something to him given that he stood out like a sore thumb. Being 7'1", having four arms and weighing over 300lbs meant he wasn't one that could easily hide in such a confined space.
I'm hoping to get a post done within the next five hours or so(I'll be on the shuttle though).

Tiberius smiled wide even though he knew her answer before she spoke. She was as dedicated to his father and his dojo as much as Tiberius ever was, she was basically family. They fought and argued like brother and sister, the one upmanship something that most siblings take for granted.

"Obviously keep this to yourself for now, I don't need my father kicking up a fuss. We just need to go there, sort this out and tell him about it afterwards." He didn't have to say it, but he just felt more comfortable for it. His father would scold them for going whatever the outcome but they just couldn't let the slight stand.

"As for the other thing..." He raised his hand in front of his face, clenching his fist tight and causing his knuckles to crack. "...it's time..." He could have just thrown a punch straight at her and got started there and then, but they had ruined the garden several times before from their impulsive fights. Each time they would spend a week afterwards repairing the damage and getting the silent treatment from Tiberius' father.

Before Ally had a chance to respond Tiberius broke into a sprint and headed towards the dojo's World Tournament regulation arena.
