I can say the villain can be a tribal leader that managed to unite the nomadic tribes? After uniting them he would lead the conquest of small kingdoms in the centre of the world, slowly crawling into larger kingdoms.

The protagonists can be a loose coalition of soldiers from the kingdoms trying to stop the hordes from conquering any further.

I suppose culture of the kingdoms can range from Asian to Europe, including some Middle Eastern, Central Asian and the Caucasus.
The fast reaction surprised Peter as the Byzantine Gundam was kicked by the Vermillion Gundam. "He's fast?!" He thought to himself. Before he gives the opponent the priviledge of defeating him he recovered quick enough to parry the GN long blade's attempt to disable his right arm with his beam saber. Using the opening made by the parry he pushed his beam saber at high output and attempt to sever the head camera to get himself the advantage in sight. "Tell me. What do you know about me?" He demanded from his opponent. "You seem to know more than anyone else."

The battle got the attention of everyone in the store with more rushing to see. Kelley watched from his counter and thought about whether these large scale battles will help his business. Miss Lindemann was also present in the store and kept herself hidden to watch without any interference and from the movement of the Vermillion Gundam it looked like the pilot was skilled but seemed to have a grudge.
I'm interested. The "Middle" factions can be the steppes with tribes similar to cultures of Central Asia or a religious empire comparable to the Byzantine Empire.
Donna heard her role for the battle announced as she waited at the hangar. She was in her uniform but forgone the jacket for a black tanktop due to the heat generated in movement. Also in her mind was how she has to keep an eye on Nena Trinity, distrusting her the most out of the group. It was no point to hide the Gundam Sandrock from Mariemeia as well as they did know about it, but she can show her skills with it for anyone that needs to be impressed from that side. She looked to find Instructor W preparing for inevitable Mobile Suit repairs with the Sundown's engineers, showing that everyone is busy here now.
Seeing the challenge ready, Peter took the controls of the Byzantine Gundam. "Justinian, Byzantine Gundam, rolling out!" He declared and realised the he used his old callsign from the Titans. As the Gunpla entered the forest he noted how there are a number of hiding spots that can be exploited. The search for the opponent was quick as a red Mobile Suit was perched on a tree. He had to pay attention to it's equipment to see how he should fight and from what he can see it has a great number of them. It looked like it would use a great amount of energy so it will be in a disadvantage in prolonged battles. To get it's first response he fired the vulcan guns on Byzantine's head unit. "I will have to observe his reactions..." He thought.
With Aristo not responsive should we just keep her character as a reserve member?
Donna saw Puru take her leave and thought about taking a rest too. "I think I will go and sleep also." She said to the other girls as she waved goodbye. She figured that she can get some rest as she helped around the ship enough. After taking the elevators she returned to the quarters she was assigned to. The Gundam pilot dropped herself on the bed and stretched out, tired with today's events. "That is another day done." She said to herself. The longer she stayed here she began wondering when she will return to her timeline, but she made use of her time very well, interacting with the crew of the Sundown and over time became more sociable. One thing to note is not to take losses too heavily like the past few days as well. She thought about her home before letting herself sleep.
The appearance of Raiyen and his subsequent challenge got Peter offguard, and extensive knowledge of the Gryps Titans got him suspicious. "Sure, I can battle." He accepted the challenge. He lead the new student to one of the vacant battlefields to start the battle. "PLEASE SET YOU GP BASE." The machine instructed as usual to the two. Peter placed his Byzantine Gundam and his GP Base, with the former's main camera glowing as it came to life. "FIELD 3: FOREST. MODEL DAMAGE LEVEL SET TO: C" The fighter waited for Raiyen to join. This guy looked like he researched his team before. He tried to remember whether he encountered him before in New York but can't remember. It is also unlikely that Miss Lindemann would divulge any information of her team to a random person and she didn't make any formal announcement yet. He will have to find the answers in this battle.
Analysing the conversations, fully half of the women in the room are psychopaths. She wished the Sundown will find an opportunity to turn against them as they clearly were a threat. She will have to trust them that they will keep in line. "Puru, I can say you will be fine with us." She assured before whispering. "Probably not some people here though." Thinking about the girl, she was like a little sister to everyone in the Sundown. She sighed as she thought about the war in her world again and how she wishes for more level-headed people to be here.
Donna shook her head in all honesty to Puru. "I have nothing to say." She could only comment. "We do not have Celestial Being in my world. Only the Earth Sphere United Nation and the Falson Coalition." She thought about where Puru might be from. "Actually, I never got to ask you. Where did you come from?" She asked. "I know you have a history with Glemy but I never heard the full story." While she waited for an answer she observed the conversation between the Celestial Being girls and took another sip of her coffee. It was bitter as her childhood and she didn't bother adding sugar in.
