Name: John 'The Batter' Mcdouglas
Age: 36
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Appearance:
Better description rather than the picture: He adorns his old baseball player outfit, even if it is a tad bit small. The hat still fits him, though. Without his hat, he has really short, jet-black hair, and he is semi-muscular, more on the skinny side, actually. He is Caucasian, and has green eyes, and he wears contacts. He has a deep voice, and he is about 6'4" tall. (1.9 meters) He carries a bat with him at all times, wooden. *ahem*
yes, this character is based off of a certain character from a game. I do not own this picture.
Biography: As a kid, he was a Sports Nut. Or a jock. Whatever you want to call him. He sucked at almost every subject in school, but he still aced his tests. Mainly because he found seats next to nerdy kids and cheated. He also took many days off, and he was never actually sick. Everyone liked him, girls swooned, etc. etc. until a prank of his sorta went too far. Let's just say he was a juvenile delinquent, but he learned his way in jail. Well, not in education, of course. He was still cramming and cheating and slacking off. No, he learned discipline, and chivalry, and manners. Now, this wasn't actually all from him going to juvey, more like him getting his ass whooped by his parents right after he got out. Years later, he tried to relearn a lot of things, and sort of got smarter than he was before.
Summer
The start of baseball season! His second favorite sport, and now was the time to get accepted into the small-town teams! He'd be the third youngest on the team, being 21 and all. He was good friends with Harold, and Jason. The others were mainly acquaintances. He played well, and eventually got a few awards and a girlfriend. The end of summer was a little rough, but he definitely knew he liked baseball more than football.
A couple years later, he married his girlfriend, but after about two miscarriages, they stopped trying to have kids. They did adopt, though. The reason to the miscarriages was because she was actually a pokemon. She didn't exactly know, she thought that she was a human. Everyone thought she was human. The children they adopted were a short, Canadian girl, pale as the moon, and a chubby American. The only problem with having two different kids is that they fought, and they were also extra mouths to feed. Joey's job wasn't exactly paying all that well, especially since he was only known by a couple people locally. After a while, his wife divorced because he wouldn't put the kids back up for adoption, and he was on the verge of bankruptcy, until he got a second job. Now having a second job, that meant he was rarely ever home, which didn't bode well for the kids.
After mostly saving himself from debt, a couple years passed and he got a once-in-a-lifetime offer. People said he played baseball so well, he should be on that town's professional team. This meant a higher paycheck, of course, and he got to meet new people. Although, he still had to do his second job, leading to weeks of stress, and on top of that, he still had to pay bills and taxes. He quit his second job after the offer, though, and he sort of become a hometown hero, in a way. He got to see his kids more often, usually ending up with him saying "Look at how much you've grown!" and whatnot. Joey, 'The Batter', was happy. In fact, he's glad about almost everything he did, including getting that divorce. Although the team eventually disbanded, he still kept his clothes, and wears them from time to time to this day, even if they are a tiny bit tight on him. He also owns his bat, and some think that he put cork in his bat to make it lighter and hit a ball farther, but he never did. He was just good. He is a little overprotective, though, and if he even senses partial hostility, he may attack.
