I would have to sit on a character idea before I make up a theme for their diary. In my opinion, the diary needs to compliment who the character is as a human being, not the other way around. I'd want to fully finish my CS before I make the diary.
Hahaha, you and I are obviously complete opposites. Light and dark. I've thought of the diary first and will think of a character to compliment the diary. Heh.

Jester and Sunshine, I'm pretty sure that Sunshine's idea was already down voted. And to be honest, I also like Animus' idea more than my own. But seeing how the OP hasn't decided on one of the three ideas, continuing to debate about it or other personal matters is completely useless. We've all argued our sides and players have chosen their sides. All we can do now is wait, if we're going to be playing together, let's not be at each other's throats about demeanor during a heated debate.Back to the Diary discussion, obviously coming up with our own designs is the best route, but if it suits a character's persona, I think using a style of Diary in the anime that fits should be ok. The cellphone Diaries should be a default if anything.
I agree. Additionally, I've changed my stance on the matters anyway, hahaha! Even if I miraculously managed to change everyone's minds it would be silly because we've got a lot of people now! This many people can't team up, Heh. The very last thing I'm going to say about this matter is: Before, when there didn't seem to be a lot of interest and there were only four of us, my idea would have been the best option in my opinion but now that there is a lot of us a combination of Light and Animus' would be better.

You're right, I shouldn't have used that example. I just wanted to explain how diaries should not contradict each other when noone has acted to change the future. Also, lets all stop the whole argument and just pretend we never happened. And ooh ooh, I was thinking of a 'mission' diary! All the entries will be based the current 'mission'. E.g. to investigate X person. The diary entries are 1-2 lines explaining different checkpoints of a mission. Sorta like entry 1: "Stalking X was a failure. Lost him when he got off the bus. 6.35PM", entry 2: "Discovered X's address by hacking into the local police database. 9:50PM."It'd be really powerful and useful for completing objectives. The drawback would be that it only predicted stuff related to the mission. It might give an entry like "Killed when chasing after X. 4:30PM." so I could avoid death but entries would stop there unless I resumed activities and acted to achieve the mission. To receive new entries, I can abandon the mission but afterwards I can no longer take up the same mission. So if 'investigating X failed' so I could receive new entries, I can no longer take up 'investigating X' as a mission again.I think its pretty unique and sounds balanced.
I really like that! Haha. I was thinking about a "Social Network" diary.
