Name: Gold
Gender: Male
Age: 25
Title: VIII
Appearance: Gold typically sports expensive, garish shirts, tailored trousers and shined shoes.
History: Gold is the star of an enormously popular reality television show regretfully named, "Gold Rush". It's a shudder-worthy show made to pander to a culture absolutely obsessed with celebrities. Now running four seasons strong, millions of people tune in to watch Gold be heavily objectified. He is considered a heart throb by his many adoring fans, mostly naive and superficial young women captivated by his body and outrageous antics. On the other end of the spectrum, Gold is the subject of cruel ridicule and criticism. Some would even go as far to say he is everything wrong with the world. Suffice to say, most intellectuals wouldn't dream of taking him seriously.
Personality: First and foremost, the man portrayed in "Gold Rush" and Gold himself are two entirely different people. Admittedly, when the show first began he was perhaps a lot more similar to his show business alter ego than he'd allow himself to think. In the four years since the show first aired, Gold has developed into a man infinitely less insufferable than the one the world believes he is. Gold loathes the kind of people that idolize him but certainly isn't opposed to sleeping with these brainless admirers. In this sense, Gold is at odds with himself. He shamefully adores the attention and point blank refuses to give up the wealth but at the same time wishes he could be viewed as someone with substance.
Gold is, unbeknownst to the public, a relatively intelligent and deeply philosophical individual. He is decently well-read and capable of conversing about a variety of riveting topics. Somewhat less obvious is that he occasionally becomes insecure and because of this he is prone to pigeon-holing people, especially women.
Occupation: Television Personality
DiaryDiary Name: Zero Privacy Diary
Diary Appearance: A Future Diary that takes the form of a trashy Celebrity Gossip Magazine. It looks like a typical glossy magazine except it focuses entirely on Gold. The front cover features a seductive head-shot of the man himself.
Diary Ability: The Zero Privacy Diary divulges a plethora of personal information about Gold including where he has been spotted around the city, who he is seen with, rumors about his personal life, kiss and tell stories and even photographs courtesy of the paparazzi, giving him some source material other than writing to work from. It's downfall is that, unlike other Future Diaries, this one tends to bend the truth and sensationalize everything.
