Haha, yes, it's strange, I hadn't read your character sheet until after I finished writing both of mine. It's weird how they both seem to sorta fit. :D
"Muggles are weak, but wizards are always weaker when exposed."
FULL NAME: Jaylen Beckley
AGE: 32
DATE OF BIRTH: 2nd January
PROFESSOR: Transfiguration
BLOODLINE: Pureblood
HOUSE: Terra
WAND: 14 inches, sturdy brown birch shaft, black cypress handle, boomslang venom
PATRONUS: Falcon
PERSONALITY: Beckley has several ambitions and stretches his abilities to his full potential. He appreciates hard work and discipline, as he believes these traits are what made him the man he is today, and thus expects the same out of his students. He enjoys his privilege as a pure blood, and the respect that comes with it. He dislikes muggles, and would prefer the magic world to be isolated from them as it once was.
Beckley can seem pretty arrogant and petty to his friends, but he has a tender heart that is cut easily by insults. He takes criticism harshly, especially from his superiors.
SHORT BIOGRAPHY: Jaylen is the second child of a rather large family. He always felt overshadowed by his older sister, who by his own admission, is smarter, more attractive, and much more of a peoples person. Whatever came difficult for Jaylen, Patrice made it look ten times simpler. She was a natural genius and Jaylen has been jealous of her and resented being stuck in her shadow. Their relationship is very toxic because of this.
Jaylen would carry the dislike for his sister into his adult years. She obtained a job in politics, while he decided to go into teaching. He liked helping children and enlightening their minds and it was once place where Patrice could not be his better, or had no interest in it.
Professor Beckley has been teaching for seven years and has had many brilliant students who he has pushed relentlessly through school. He tends to favour students who work hard-- even if they aren't particularly talented, as they remind him of himself.
I'll be making a student in the morning. Hopefully this is good enough. :)
FEARS ☠ Insects ☠ The control the Dark Arts has over her. ☠ Public humiliation
PERSONALITY: Cliodhna is naturally sharp-minded and takes a genuine interest in learning, but education isn't the only thing that interests her, she has a album of all the many fascinating animals and creatures she has seen, and has started writing a book on the similarities and differences of hippogriffs and griffins. Animals amuse her, as they only show honesty something which she values greatly. She is a very devoted friend to those she's loyal to, which is few. Although fearing judgement from her supperiors she is not afraid to pass judgement on her peers. She can be manipulative, sometimes outright lying to get other students in trouble. She is not afraid of showing physical affection, but finds it difficult to accept emotional affection out of fear. She has a secret lust for the dark arts, and practices in secret.
SHORT BIOGRAPHY: The Burns' are a proud family. Cliodhna is the only child of Fergus Burns and Sarah MacEntire, and is the heir to a large estate and an even larger sum of money. Fergus Burns and Sarah MacEntire are well known aurors. They lead the dark creatures division, and hunt werewolves, giants, vampires and other nasty creatures that choose to feast on muggles. Her parents have a strong hate for the dark arts, warning Cliodhna strongly against ever using her magical abilities to harm others.
Last summer, after her father had conducted a raid on a vampire nest, he brought home a book that would pique Cliodhna's interest. It was a large tome, with many horrid moving pictures and gruesome scenes of muggles being tortured and played with by vampires. That night Cliodhna's curiosity got the better of her and she stole the tome from her parents study. The book made her aware that blood could be manipulated by magic, that minds could be controlled, lust could be induced and blood boiled from within causing a pain so tremendous it is said to have exploded arteries.
The next day her mother destroyed the book, so Cliodhna never learned just how to do the terrible magic, much to her relief. She is ashamed of her curiosity, and never discusses it with anyone, not even her friends.
