Personality: Captain Ramsey’s confident and even toned manner has earned him the respect and loyalty of those serving under him. The southern twang of is obviously American ancestry adds to his charm, as he isn’t one to shy away from simplicity. Given his demeanor, it’s not a wonder why he is so well regarded within the UNSC Navy.
Biography: Captain Ramsey was born in Fort Worth, Texas on Earth. His father was an engineer, and his mother a high school teacher. He is the product of an upbringing that is more traditional, than modern. At an early age, Ramsey expressed an interest in the exploration of space, and was accepted into an early entrance program with the UNSC Navy. His career has seen service aboard all manner of UNSC space craft, as well as it’s fair share of combat with the Covenant. Though he has commanded larger ships in the past, most recently the UNSC Silent Chorus, an advanced Destroyer; Ramsey has admitted to preferring posts aboard smaller, older ships, ferrying special operators to and from missions. As such, he has found his way to the command of the UNSC Wayward Wanderer, an older Mako-Class Corvette.

Welcome to the forums, I'm new here too, so I imagine we'll both be playing around with things until we're both up to speed. Hope you enjoy it here, and hope to someday cross paths with you in an RP.

*Renault stares curiously at the scene before him, before bowing in an all too extravagant manner.*

Phasing back into existence after a year's absence, SwiftOnRPGuild appears as a ghostly visage of his former self in the far corner. "Ehem..." he clears his throat to speak, stepping forward slowly, until the front sole of his shoe catches, and he stumbles forth rather embarrassingly. "...welcome to the gui--" his voice cuts out as he lurches forward, face planting painfully hard onto the surprisingly solid flooring. "--ld" he finishes, laying there as he tries not to appear too ridiculous, despite his calamity.

So, after being absent for little over a year(maybe more), I've found the new site. Previously, I was SwiftOnRPGuild at the old site, at least until my unscheduled and sadly unannounced leave of absence. While there, I was involved in a few RPs, and ran one that fizzled out when I disappeared; that was my Halo: We are ODST RP. To those that were wondering where I was, to those that invested time and energy into that RP, I offer you my sincerest apologies. I know simply saying so won't make up for my mistakes, but I wanted to say it regardless.

I am sorry.

For the last year, I've been struggling to get things together in my life, and I think I've finally reached a point where I can devote time and energy to something I love, and that is RPing. I immediately knew there was only one place I wanted to go to get back in the swing of things, and that's the Roleplayer Guild. So here I am, again. To those I've known in the past, I look forward to getting re-acquainted with all of you again, and to those I've not yet met, I look forward to getting to know you too.
