You wake up from cryogenic sleep. At the end of the hallway near the door, stands a woman, her cybernetic arms and legs sparking and twitching. She slides down the wall, near where she pushed the button to release you from sleep. You want to help her, but you aren't sure you should help her. She looks up to see you exiting your pod, and slides you a tablet. On it, the date states that it is the year 2305. Nearly a century since you first went to sleep. Below that, a video message. you look upon it and press the icon, letting the video play.

The year is 2305. I am making this from my ship. I am on the run from what I assume are pirates. They are pursuing me endlessly. If I make it out of this, there is only one palce to go for this message to make effect. Here it is. Humanity has fallen. Yet, it was not another race that caused this. In fact, none know how this has happened. What is known is that the collapse happened suddenly. In only five years, What once was a great shining beacon of honor is now a rusted husk of what was. what little remains left of the human race is either on shattered space stations or left on broken colonies. There is no more civilization for humanity. There is no technology. Only the ability to wait and die.

1. This is a sandbox RP. If you want to travel somewhere, don't feel like the RP is on rails.
2.Romance is an option. This RP is going to be rather adult themed, meaning bloody deaths, large amounts of violence, and gore. Don't feel like you need to keep it super restrictive. Show slight restraint though.

Scarab-A beetle-like humanoid race. Their appearance would be likened to a human with a hard exoskeleton and multiple eyes. They are very primitive and warlike, but can learn technology quite fast. Scientists alien and human alike say that it is very possible that both humans and scarabs descended from the same ancestor due to the very similar structure of organs, But their location shaped their evolution.

The unnamed-The unnamed are a mass of black energy shaped like a human. It is thought and theorized that they are shaped like humans because of the intensive study of said humans, but it is not confirmed. Very little is known about The unnamed. What is known about them is that they emerged from black holes. They seem to have a childish fascination with humans studying them and their evolution. They are ageless, with their life expectancy being unknown. It is also unknown how they reproduce, or if they even do. Their technology, what little has been seen of it, is eons forwards of anyone else’s. They seem to have no Emotions.

Furlynes-An advanced race of feline-like humanoids, their ability to adapt and rebuild is frighteningly fast. Little is known of them, as they tend to prefer to be isolated.

Home planet, a white dwarf star nicknamed "Hades's Eye". Survive by recycling hydrogen. Can use miniature fusion to attack. Of Gargantuan size and build. They are an invasive species that thrive by sucking the core of the planets. All contacts have usually involved only a singular sighting and it is assumed that each one of their kind is assigned to find new planets to invade and then slowly devour them.

Were deemed a serious threat to the entire Universe in the Faulkner Collective Summit circa 2204. A huge witch hunt was carried out by all the partner mmebers and a large scale operation involving multi-species. The Home star was bombed from the orbit. With it, all their technological advances and civilization was believed to be wiped out.


A few last things. This game will feel like a mix between FTL and Mass Effect. The universe is going to be expanded as we explore. that means no preset map or anything. The playable alien races you see are not the only ones. you can create one and run it by me, and if it looks good i'll put it in there as well. So good luck and have fun.
