Patches-Onboard the Starchaser
Patches thought for a second. And then he thought for more. A little bit more time thinking as he rubbed his head from the injury that the wrench caused.
Hmmmm. How did I get on the ship. That is actually a very intriguing and good question. I am not quite sure. I think it was when your friends were leaving. Yes yes, it was when your friends were leaving. Hmmmmmm. Am I its ally. I guess? In a way? It talks to me in my head. Might have to do something with this little spider in my chest. But I like this little buddy. He brought me back to life and we already became friends. Named him Todd, I did. And we both agree that we dislike the mother spider. So actually, in answering your second question. Errrrm, no. We actuallu despise her annoying whispers. In fact she wants us to kill you right now. But then I wouldn't have any friends to talk to now would I? Oh yes. One last thing. Your friends are F-U-C-K-E-D fucked. Pretty doomed. That spider is massive and likes hiding. Probably about to stab your friends as we speak. I do hope they kill it though. This whispering is driving me mad.
Anastasia-Experiment #001
Anastasia looked around for the spider. It had to be around here somewhere. It couldn't just disappear. Not at the size it was. She tuned ears in and listened. To the left. The sounds came out.
Scritch
Scritch
Scritch
Ana's eyes widened. Jericho. She vaulted forward and yelled.
Jericho! Hit the dirt! She sprinted and grabbed Jericho by the shoulders, dropping him and herself to the ground. The mandibles shot out moments too late, missing their target by inches. The poison slicked off of them, dripping onto the ground near Ana and Jericho's faces. It sizzled the dirt near her, indicative of the acidic properties. That acid could've been in Jericho, were she moments too late. The mandibles withdrew, and the building rumbled. From withing tiny cracks the spider emerged unfolding itself like paper. Dammit. It could hide itself quite easily that in walls and buildings. It also was quite large. One thing she did not expect was the screech. It let one out, shaking buildings for miles, rumbling them low into the ground. The cracks along Ana's helm webbed, furthering along the visor. Ana dragged herself and Jericho back up, covering his back. Ana found herself barking out familiar orders. "All of you! Back to back! Don't let it ambush you! Keep someone covered! Jericho on me!"
The spider roared again, lengthening its venom tipped fangs.
