So I was wracking my brain to do a Walking Dead Roleplay that revolves a bit more around human conflict than pure walker madness and I think I have hit on an idea that could be interesting. The story will revolve around a human town that has for the most part been left untouched by the walkers and outside influence. This reason being because it is concentrated heavily in a great expanse of forest that most avoid due to how thick it is and the many dangers it could hide within. For the majority of the people who live here they have never left the walls of the town, they grow their own food, purify their own water, have their own livestock etc etc so none of them have any practical knowledge of the outside world or the threat it poses aside from maybe a couple stray walkers who make it past the thick natural tree lined barrier. Its been four years like this for them so they know next to nothing about the hardships of living not surrounded by protection.
This all changes after a stranger approaches the walled in town with the intent to take everything they have, the stranger leads the strongest group of survivors and probably the most well equipped and manned group of this time frame and his only reputation is he gets what he wants if it be willingly or by force. He pretty much threatens them and says he will be back in full force within the coming month and they will either submit or die. To prove as such he kills two of the gate guards indiscriminately before departing. Shortly around that same time another man approaches the town, a lone survivor looking for shelter for just a moment before continuing on. They are hesitant to let him in but they do. In passing he learns of the town predicament and they learn he has survived out there for four years majorly on his own so they petition him for help, to help them prepare for the war that is coming to their doorstep.
However he refuses to help, he does not want to become involved or dragged into such a war for people he does not even care to know and ridicules them for not once suffering in the outside world. Calling them weak and spoiled he leaves them to their fate. Knowing their probably going to being turned into slaves or killed the Mayor of the town leaves, alone, intent on finding the man and convincing him that they can be strong enough to weather the storm.
The story is rather filled with a lot of character development, and coming to realizations, raw emotions and facing the reality of death and fear for the first time. I am looking for someone who can play this part, the part of someone who is facing for the first time since this started, the cruel realities of the outside world.
