The next morning he woke up early, planning on fleeing. He had to leave before she did, unless he wanted to resort to his other form to escape her, which he really didn't want to do in the fear of possibly losing complete control and hurting people.
As luck would have it though, he couldn't have it that easy. As he rushed out of his room, she was leaving as well right in front of his door. The result was him colliding with her, and the two close together against the wall.
