"Sorry. See, normal people...I'm not one of them."

Back to the Basics

Full Name: Yaozu Au-Yeung

What I go by: Yao ; nicknamed the Bloodless Dragon (无血龙)

Age: 23

Birth Date: 11 November, 1992

Sexuality: Heterosexual

I’m the heir, loyal and faithful to the White Dragon Triad.

The Reflection in the Mirror

Height: 5'10

Weight: 160 lbs

Eye Color: Brown

Hair Color: Naturally black/dark-brown ; dyed blonde.

Identifying Marks: The Triad's family symbol that spans across his back to the front of his torso and down 3/4 of his arm. It depicts a unified piece that is made up of a singular white dragon that wraps itself around his body along with other mythical beasts and demons of Chinese lore.

Weaponry & Skills

Standard Weapon: An ornate QSZ-92 Chinese handgun, modified and specified to the needs of the Triad.

Skills: He is a practitioner in martial arts, specifically that of Chaquan kung-fu, which is the traditional style of the White Dragon Triad. It uses long and graceful movements to execute long-range barrages of kicks and fists - known as a variant of 'Dragon-Style' kung-fu. Has the makings of an underworld boss, meaning as a 'war general', he's proficient at commanding and organizing his foot-soldiers, as well as executing strategic attacks and defense when coordinating gang wars.

Strengths:
+ Physically adept (conditioned body and above-average marksman)
+ Charismatic (in terms of persuasion and intimidation)
+ Intelligent (mostly "street smarts" ; he is logical and aware)

Weaknesses:
- Hot-headed (anger causes recklessness)
- No moral compass (does anything for his and his Family's gain)
- Lazy (does not take being the heir to one of the most dangerous mafia seriously at times)

Things I Waste My Time With

Hobbies: Known to host big, illegal parties that are very popular with New York's most wealthiest and corrupted young adults.

Likes: Alcohol, smoking, parties, sweets, gambling, women.

Dislike: Arrogance, hard drugs, vegetables, those that opposes him and his Family.

What I’m Really Like

Personality: Erratic and wild, Yaozu is a young man who is not afraid to strut his wealth, power, and position. Popular among the younger crowds of the criminal underworld, he is known for both his casualness and cold-bloodedness. He may seem like just any other rich, trouble-making youth who's good at throwing extravagant raves and parties, but if he catches you looking at him cross-eyed, expect a bullet to be lodged into your forehead before you can even blink. In fact, his bloodlust is so ruthless that he is quite infamous even to his older and more respected peers of the underworld. Yao may be decades younger than those who stood as Dons before him, but he is certain that he has spilled more blood than any of them ever had and will. Hence his nickname, the Bloodless Dragon - the Heir who has no blood in his veins and thus hunts it from his enemies.

But under that monstrous exterior, Yao has a capable mind - he is expected to lead the Triad one day, after all. He's cunning, manipulative, and intelligent. He knows how to fight, but at the same time, he knows when to swallow his pride and sheathe his talons for a another day. Financially, he's good with money and despite throwing big cash for his parties, he is quite frugal in general. He is also very aware with his surroundings in general.

Though he manages the trafficking of such illegal substances, Yao does not partake in any hard drugs. He sees what it can do to even the most prestigious of humans, and it disgusts him. Still, it's easy money to be made from such weaklings, and that's all he really cares about. He drinks quite moderately, as he is smart enough to be sober at all times. He's also a social smoker, only lighting a joint or cigarette when he's with close friends.

All About My Past

Bio: From the day of his birth and onward, Yaozu only knew the world of crime and violence. Nothing much can be said about his past, as he was quite a pampered and spoiled-brat, being the son of the Dragonhead (Don) of the White Dragon Triad. He didn't see his parents much, and was left to be raised by the Family's nanny. Growing up, he was taught the ways of the White Dragon, learning martial arts to hone his body as well as studying history and politics and about the inner workings of the Mafia underworld to sharpen his mind. If he was born to a regular family, he could have been made into a successful young adult with a bright future - instead, his life is that of a corrupted soul but honestly, he wouldn't have it any other way. Yaozu lives for the thrill of power and wealth.

Reserving a spot for the heir to the Asian mafia!
Interested!
Holy shit, I am definitely interested. Been a long time since I've seen an organized crime RP, and I suddenly got a craving for it after reading through your IT haha.

@TheWildBunnii Would love to see what the OOC will bring. Also, is the spot for being the Heir of the Asian mafia taken? Noticed that it wasn't on the list, and I have the perfect character in mind for it if no one has claimed it. :)
I'm still here, but it looks like we're going to be missing a few people haha.
Cool, another post down haha. Wondering if it's because it's finals week for a lot of people, and that's why it's been slow!
@TheUltimatumHope all is well with your mom and family!

Glad to see this RP finally on a roll though. @RainDash There's going to be funny interactions between Kevin and Aiden. :)
Kevin Sinnet

With mellow steps, Kevin Sinnet made his way around the bustling throng of the town square, his warm eyes glistening with interest and curiosity. Even with the brooding weather above them, the people of Goldcrest still managed to have some sort of excitement for the their first weeks of early Summer. Side vendors were out and about in full force along the winding sidewalks that criss-crossed through the heart of the square shouting out fun advertisements that directed the attention of passerbys to their overloaded carts that ranged from delicious cuisine to several knick knacks made out of mystery and wonder. Shop owners had the doors to their establishments wide open as if giving out invitations to guests so that they may join them in a warm gathering of good food and greater friends. Grocery stores had racks of umbrellas right outside of their entrances so that people may find some sort of refuge from the impending afternoon rainfall while they go about their daily chores.

It was quite an invigorating view, seeing his small town being so alive and healthy.

The tall boy took in a deep breath, flashing the world his crooked grin as he continued his leisurely pace through the square. One hand was in the pockets of his dark-grey jeans, while the other was idly tossing a bright red apple into the air and catching it after every few steps. He had on a high-collared navy-blue hoodie this afternoon, with the hood hanging on the back half of his head in a lazy but charming manner and his sleeves rolled up just below his elbows. On his feet were a pair of white Chuck Taylors that padded the ground rhythmically with each step.

Now where was it that he was suppose to go? Kevin stopped suddenly, his head slightly cocked to the side. He was so distracted by the business of his surroundings that he forgot what he was doing. The young man pursed his lips as he twirled on his heels, eyeing the congregated crowds of people to jog his memory.

Suddenly, in the distance, he could make out the faint outlines of his friend Aiden.

Well, the term friend is used loosely here. Kevin certainly viewed his schoolmate as such, but it seemed like Aiden does not agree with how their relationship stands. They even shared a pretty aggressive fight together and the younger boy still gave Kevin the cold shoulder. Still, Aiden's mother did grow fond of Kevin after learning about how the two met, and if that's not enough to be friends, then the young man didn't know what would be.

So with a mischievous grin that crinkled his golden-brown eyes, Kevin tossed his apple once more into the air, caught it, and took a big bite out of it as he made his way towards Aiden.

"Heyo! You look lost, little lamb!" Kevin shouted out from across the street. Needless to say, his booming voice turned the heads of curious passerbys, who watched him wave vigorously to Aiden. They chuckled as they walked by, some shaking their heads with a smile as they envied for their own youthful days and camaraderie.

In a span of a few seconds, Kevin jogged towards him. Eying the list that was in Aiden's hand, he teased, "Grocery shopping, huh? No wonder Sayo called for me. With all the socializing that you refuse to do, you'd be stranded here all night." His eyes glinted with a boyish humor.

"So. Shall we get started?" Kevin grinned as he took another bite of his fresh apple.
Awesome! Will post when I can tomorrow.
