Character Type - Cannon Inspired Name - Uric Warren-Marie Alias - Blackguard, Young Rogue, Thief, Copycat Age - 19 Social Class - Midtown Alignment - Bad, or Good Wherever the money flows Archetype - Mutant Powers -Power Absorption: Uric can absorb the powers, energies, memories, knowledge, talents, personality and physical abilities (whether superhuman or not) of another living being through physical contact of his skin with the skin of the other person. Even though he has a pretty good handle on his mutation, he is not as experienced or powerful as his great grandmother Rogue. He has only ever held 5 different abilities (superhuman or not) at a time, and usually just drains the life force of others to get the kill. Skills - Hand-to-hand: Uric accidentally absorbed the knowledge of the body guard who was protecting the first man he every killed. He witnessed his entire life experiences, skills and memories permanently. He also gained that man's ability to fight. Seasoned Hunter: Even though he is still young, Uric is a fine tuned assassin who knows how to hunt down a target with precision and use any means necessary. Guns: Uric prefers to use guns and his hands rather than anything else, and he is a pretty good shot. He can use just about any gun, from a 9mm to a 50cal. People Person: Uric has to have the ability to put on any face to get his jobs done, he can read other pretty easily, and is able to pass off as believable to most. Weaknesses - Taking it All In: Uric has a lot of limitations to his mutation; when he absorbs the life force of none superhuman he ends up taking everything from them as well, memories, feels, emotions, skills, tendencies etc. This can be very distracting and cloud his mind when he does this to more than one person at a time. In contrast, he is a lot better at focusing on what he wants when he absorbs from a superhuman but still might take some residual tendencies and emotions. Rogue was better trained to take what she wanted, he only has what he has learned himself. Mutant: Even though Uric can heal his wounds fairly well, he is still a kid and has a fit body like one, so he can still be knocked out and feels pain and take some punches. Arch Enemy - Depending on what we get in the villain or hero department... Appearance -
BRIEF Bio - Uric Warren-Marie grew up in the Downtown slums of Nueva York. He was raised an only child by his mother and father working shit jobs and living off of next to nothing. Despite the poor upbringing and their little family was happy, until his dad started to sell drugs for some extra cash to help put Uric through school. Everything was fine, they even moved out of downtown and into Midtown. One day when Uric came home and his mother was tapped to a chair being beaten senseless by four random men. He put up a fight, but Uric soon met a similar fate and for hours before his father arrived he was tortured and beaten into unconsciousness.
When he woke, he was on the floor and is father was crying over his mothers dead body, Uric was only 15 and did not know how to deal with the situation but he knew he wanted revenge. He did the only thing he could think of, he joined the guys who killed his mother. It was when he was working for them that he discovered his mutation, and he started to learn to control it while he was biting his time waiting for the right moment to kill all 30 of this shitty gang. It would be 2 years until he finally had his moment and he took it. In one night he killed everyone with one touch and the only person he really had to fight was Ricky Flyn, a famous Hitman guarding the "boss". Uric only won because Flyn had no idea about his mutation and got to comfortable as they fought. When everything was said and done Uric did not go home and instead accepted the thoughts and emotions of Flyn and took up the Hitman gig. He became an assassin and has been one ever since, he lost track of his dad and only visits his mothers grave every so often. Notes -
Uric is the grandson of Rogue and inherited her mutation, even though I did not mention it much.
He has two last names.

The room was dark, only a light flickering in the back ground. The room was ice cold, complements of thte Midtown air conditioning system. It was a simple two bed room apartment in one of the high rises of Midtown. Uric's targets where living here, three of them all mutants and each one owed money to some very bad people. The job was easy enough and went smoothly, no witnesses, no mess one bullet to the head each and no fuss. Now he sat in the recently vacant apartment waiting for his contact to verify the deaths in person and pay him.
Uric sat leaning in a chair taking shots of vodka and contemplating the lives of these guys, each did not look a year old than he was and each one seemed happy enough when he staked them out a couple of hours earlier. So how could some 20-something year old, soon to be back at their mothers houses, piss off so many people and get a price put on their heads. But who cared now anyways, their lives had been turned into currency and Uric had cashed in.
He sat up when he heard the door open and a man walk in with a cooler and a black bag. He did not say anything to the man and the man didn't say anything to him. Simply opened the cooler full of ice pulled out his tools and nodded. Uric got up and grabbed the bottle, he knew the money had been transferred, and as he walked out he could hear the cutting and crunching of bones and flesh, but all Uric cared about was moving on with the next job.
Gaël Gaël had shown up early for this class and was waiting as everyone filed in. After their teacher spoke, and Gareth and Amaranda did their thing Gaël stood up next. "Hello, guess I'll go next, I'm Gaël D'Entremont son of Hecate so yeah." Gaël did the simplest thing he could think of, he snapped his fingers and opened his palm. The Greek letter for Epsilon glowed green in his hand before it burst into ghostly Eldritch energy and took the solid form of a sword. He waved it a little and then it disappeared. He said a silent thanks and sat down again.
Ebbo let out a deep breath as he sat in what would be his room for the next few months. He knew the moment he saw is dad sitting at the foot of his bed early this morning that everything was going to change once again. The man had a knack for always coming in once everything had settled and causing problems.
It was when Ebbo was still filled with sleep early in the morning that Odin himself, once again, was pulling the covers off Ebbo and roughly shaking him awake. "Get up boy, you start school today." Odin said as he sat in the chair next to Ebbo's desk. Ebbo sat there and shivered, he did not even acknowledge his dad for a whole 5 minuets, and then finally got up and pulled out the bags he always had ready. These bags stayed packed and only needed a few extra things to make them complete, they stayed packed for the always looming threat of a visit from Odin and now he had to pull them out again.
"Did you at least tell mom this time?" Ebbo said as they got down stairs and out side into the car. He knew the answer to the question so he left a note on the counter making sure his mom knew he was safe and that he had his phone on him.
The car ride was quiet and tenses, neither normally talked when they went out like this and each new what the other was here for. Ebbo was here to keep his "normal" life safe by indulging in has father request, and Odin was here to further cultivate his "investment". After 4 days of traveling across land and ocean, they pulled up in front of a school, a University and Eboo looked over at Odin and chuckled. "What is it this time, some necessary training to make me better, make me like your others." Ebbo said as he gout out the car and got his bags from the back.
Odin smirked at his "others" statement, he was referring to Thor, or Balder. "No, every child of mine is educated and you will be no different. This is Riverswell University and I hope that going here will give you what you need to live up to the 'others' u so frequently talk about. Now act good and I'll be back during winter break to get you." With that Odin disappeared and Ebbo was left with his bags.
Ebbo walked up to the dormitory and looked at the roommate list, he was in room 417, and began his trek in that direction. He had seen that he rooms where co-ed and kind of blushed at that, but it would not stop him form living comfortably. He peeked into his room and looked around, it was cozy and seemed like a condo set up. Three rooms and a open bathroom. "Anyone here yet?...Guess not well since I'm here first I'm taking first pick on rooms." Ebbo said to himself, he went to the left and picked the room away from the others. The room was a simple set up, bed, dresser, desk and closet. This made it easy to move his clothes, gaming system, and electronics in and set his room up, while he did he sent a text to his mom and filled her in on the situation. His door was open so anyone that walked in could hear him moving stuff around and getting set up.
First Name: Ebbo Surname: Rayner Nickname: Ray, Raybo, Ebby Gender: Male Age: 19 Species: Demigod-Son of Odin Personality: Ebbo is a independent young man, who is not one for rules. He likes to follow his own self made path and do things his way. Ebbo can be stubborn at times, but the sight of rules and regulations make him sick, this is one of his biggest flaws but one of his best traits. His determination and hard work ethic drive him to prove he was right and his way is best. This gave Ebbo the skill to learn to do something, and do it right the first time. Outside of this Ebbo is a great friend, not the most social, and will have your back the whole way just make sure you don't ask his opinion on things he won't sugarcoat it. Ebbo would much rather spend his time alone, in a book or gaming then trying to make hurt himself making friends. History: In all 19 years of life, Ebbo Rayner has been the pet project of his father Odin. When he was born he was left to his mother, she taught him how to be a man, right form wrong, and how to treat a lady (or man if he was into that, she doesn't judge). His father had a tendency to pop from time to time and mess things up for their little unit. When he was 5 Odin stole him away in broad daylight for 3 years, dropping him all around the world with different teachers saying he needed to "toughen up". When he turned 16 Odin forced him to endure a "spiritual death and rebirth" to awaken his inner shaman (it was nothing compared to Odin's hanging on the world-tree for nine days and nights, but it still hurt). In Ebbo's 18th year Odin gave him a nice brand the night before his high school graduation. Safe to say Ebbo and his father don't have much of a relationship outside of his visits. Odin is also the one who is sending him to Riverswell Estate & University, to "further his training."
Hobbies:
Reading
Learning
Traveling
Camping
Gaming
Abilities: Being the son of the Warrior-Shaman Odin, a war god, a poet, the chief of the Aesir deities, is a lot to live up too. Ebbo inherited the Shaman way from his father, he was forced to endure the "spiritual death and rebirth" at a young age so he could unlock his ability to use runes. Runes are magically-charged Germanic alphabet that can be used in many different ways. Runes are charged with magical energy and the word becomes alive. Ebbo stays away from the more complex spells that involve multiple runes, and simply uses runes to summon and control the elements and on the occasion mess with others. Runes are a gods magic though, so when he uses them he never really has control or immunity over what he summons, fire still burns and ice still freezes. Extra:
Ebbo is a great swords man, courtesy of his father.
When he went through his "spiritual death" he became spiritually linked with bears, owls, and cats. H has a pet cat named Cheshire.
He has a tattoo and a brand, one is a bear on his back and the brand is on his right pectoral and was left by his father.

Yuu was finally ready to go, he had packed his bags late and was now rushing to hurry before he missed the opening at his new school. His mother promised to see him off in her human form, one she takes rarely and one hat eh loves the most. So now he was rushing out of their home and into the woods where she had set up the portal for him to get there, it wold drop him on the beach and he would have to follow his instructions form their.
"Are you sure you packed everything, and I mean everything? I don't want phone call in a couple of hours asking me to bring you some ridiculous item." His mother said when he reached her. Yuu was her youngest her baby and the final one to go, she new he would be to much trouble for any other school and with him asking questions about his father, Chie needed to give him some kind of distraction. It was wrong of her to send him away so she would not have to face her own demons but it was in her nature to run form important things.
"Yes mom, clothes and all, are you sure you will be alright when I leave? I am sure I'll be back to visit." Yuu said as he stepped into the magic circle that was to transport him. He did not know how to feel about leaving her. He was always near his mom, she was his best friend really and now she was sending him away to some far away place because she does not want to deal with "him".
They exchanged some good byes and Yuu was sent off and blinded by light. Moments later he appeared on a wooden pathway and some some of the other students that where barley making it to the courtyard for the entrance speech. He found his way to the back of the crowd and found a seat just after the beginning of Arthur Wicks speech about the school and what he expects for the year bla bla bla. Even though it was short and to the point Yuu was bored and wanted to put his stuff down, as he sat on the bench his tails where twitching with anticipation, wanting him to move around and do something.
When all the talking was done Yuu felt a small weight on one of his tails, it was a note with his name and room assingment on it. He went and wondered throughout the dorm halls till he found Room 111 and went inside. He did not know what expect when he got inside, a jock with clothes already thrown all over the floor, or a nerd who has taken up every out outlet in their room already with his many devices. No...what Yuu got was an empty room, and he just assumed that whoever his roommate is, has not arrived yet. So he took his time and unpacked his things.
