Lorand

Lorand had simply been sitting there in the Wagon Wheel for quite some time now. He had been contemplating this whole event, and how and why it had transpired when he heard someone ask him "Lorand, right?", which was all he heard. He had a certain talent for phasing out any unnecessary noise, but he couldn't really ignore the mention of his name. Without saying anything at first, he turned toward the source of the voice. It was another player character, a girl with pink hair who was wearing Japanese clothing of some sort. Upon closer examination, he noticed the person in question was very high level themselves. Finally, someone possibly competent. After a delay, he responded to the girl "Yes, that is my name. Why do you ask?"

But just as the girl was about to answer, he heard a bit of a commotion outside, loud enough to get past his selective hearing. all he could really hear was some very angry sounding girl screaming like a banshee. Whatever was happening out there, it most certainly was not peaceful, and it would probably be a good idea to intervene, even if it is troublesome. As such, he looked at the girl from earlier and said " Why don't we save the introductions for later? We should probably calm down that situation outside first. Wait here one second." Without even waiting for a response, Lorand got up from his seat and started going outside.

What he saw when he went outside was about what he expected. Another player character was grabbing the collar of a NPC and yelling right into his face. This one was another girl, this time in a much more westernized outfit. To Lorand, she looked like a pirate. Either way, this person was considerably lower level than him, and he didn't feel like trying to reason with them, so he took a much more direct approach. He simply walked up, broke the two apart, picked up the small girl, dragged her into the bar and sat her down at a table. The girl in question was resisting Lorand's actions quite admirably, but he was strong enough that it didn't really matter. Before going back over to the high-level girl from earlier, he asked the Bartender "Give this little girl something that'll knock her right out for me, will ya? I'll pay for it." He then managed to get back over to the pink-haired girl, and simply asked "So you know me, but who are you exactly?".
I'll be posting when I get home.
And I'll probably have homework when I get home too... What a world we live in lol.
Just so people know, I will be super busy today and most likely won't have time to post if stuff starts happening. Literally not getting home till about 10 Pacific time.
[[A follow up from me and Wolfmaw's post]]

While Lorand had originally planned to go into Araldyne, he quickly changed his mind when he heard the infernal noises inside the city. The place was in a riot, with people running all over the place, screaming their heads off. He would try and calm the other players down, but he doubted that his word would mean much. So he decided that rather than listening to the screams of the collected players for any longer, he'd head to one of his old hang out spots, the small inn outside outside of the west gate of Araldyne, called the Wagon Wheel. The whole reason he hung out there was because it was not a very well-known location, and he could hang out with friends in private or just get some quiet time. He hopped back on Rummahl and swiftly headed toward the inn. When he got there, he simply sat down and ordered a drink from the bartender NPC, who for some reason had a bewildered and surprised look in his eyes. Lorand didn't know why he was looking at him like this, but he simply ignored it and enjoyed his drink.

While drinking, his mind drifted off a bit. He actually thought about what that silly girl Amelia was doing, and if she had actually followed him. However, his thinking was interrupted by a sound coming from right in front of him. It was the bartender, who was garnering for his attention. The man asked "Your name is Lorand, right?". Lorand, more than a little bit shocked, simply answered "Umm... yes. That is my name. But how do you know my name?". The question seemed a little silly, but the fact that the bartender knew his name piqued his curiosity. The bartender responded "Well, you come around here pretty often, so I just happened to pick it up while eavesdropping." Lorand was rather intrigued by the response. This meant that the NPCs had a capacity to remember events before the recent patch. This means that he probably is, all in all, pretty well known by now, considering how he has completed every quest in the game up until the new content. The bar keep left as he was saying the words "Well, enjoy your drink sir." and left Lorand by himself once again. After some more thought about what he had discovered, he decided he would relax in the Wagon Wheel for a little bit.
Sup @Bigg Slamm, nice to meet you. I'm one of PKMNBOY's friends from a different group. I hope we can have some fun together.

Personality: Despite his character's rather serious appearence, Dave is a very laid-back person, and applies this same laid-back attitude to everything except work. He doesn't worry very much about the small things, but instead puts his attention to the things that actually matter in his mind. In game, he acts essentially the same as in real life, not changing his personality at all whether he is online or offline. While being laid back, he can also get irritated easily at some things, especially the bullshit that Amelia puts him through. Even so, he is a nice person if you stay on his good side. Somewhat.

History: Dave is just your average guy from Concord, New Hampshire. He grew up in a standard middle class family, and began to take a liking to his science classes throughout middle school and high school. He also took a liking to video games during this time, particularly MMOs and RPGs, as a way to spend his time when he was not doing homework or other activities. Some of his favorites were World of Warcraft and, later, Final Fantasy XIV. After high school, he attended MIT for his chemistry degree. During this time, he was doing so much work that he ended up not being able to play games nearly as much, but still talked to the friends he knew online, where he went by the tag 'Lorand'. He graduated and went to work at a company that he had interned at while he was at school. Finding himself with a lot of free time, he decided that he would get back into gaming as a way to pass the time, and then managed to discover the teaser trailers for Untold Eternity. He was very impressed with the direction that the game was going, and decided he would sign up for the beta test to see if it would live up to his standards. He ended up loving the game, and pre-ordered the game as soon as he could. He managed to get a good number of his freinds hyped for the game, including his longtime "friend" Amelia. He managed to out-pace even some of the most hardcore players when he was leveling his character. Before the expansion came out, he managed to clear all of the end-game content as well. When he heard that the new patch that was coming out, he started contacting all of his freinds in anticipation for the new content.

Armor Notes:

 • The Dracolich armor set is primarily used by Deathknights, and has a stat spread that heavily favors health and defense, with some attack mixed in as well. It is extremely high quality gear that is dropped by Verath, a high-level draconic raid boss.

Weapon notes:

 • Sword: Requiem, Legacy of the Damned is also dropped by Verath, but has been heavily crafted and improved to actually become the weapon that it is. In the game's lore, the weapon is said to represent the sins and wrongdoings of past beings.
 • Shield: Warden, Keeper of Echoes, is a highly sought-after end game shield, being popular for it's extra effects. It isn't overly rare due to it's popularity. It drops from the end-game boss titled "The Eternal Warden", who is a giant animated suit of armor. The shield itself was said to have belonged to a famous mage hunter, whose name is unknown.

Accessory Notes:

 • Ring of the Thorn Knight: An extremely rare drop from a notoriously hard solo dungeon called the Castle of Iron Thorns. In the lore, the ring was said to be the most prized possession of the Castle's owner.
 • Bergelmir's Necklace: A semi-rare drop from the boss Bergelmir, who is an extremely powerful titan boss.
